Aliens. It had to be aliens. These aren't the sappy little martian men that melt when they touch water either; these are hard, cold, slave-trading aliens. Those little buggers decided that they liked the look of the poor souls in the tale about to be told, and set their tiny hearts on obtaining these unsuspecting victims. Through some rather drastic measures they managed to aquire their prey, and with the new slaves locked up in the cargo bay these ruthless slavers flew off in their ship happy as could be. They were so proud, infact, that they stopped halfway to the drop-off point to celebrate, just over a desolate planet so unworthy of life that it is merely called "Uncharted".

Now, these aliens were so sure that they had their captives secured that they never bothered to check on our heroes, and left everyone completely unattended. Underestimating other life forms was the first mistake of these slavers, and the start of a rather hard time for those poor souls trapped in the cargo bay.

Shadowedstar:
Upon waking up the first thing I noticed was that it was dark. A shiver made me realize that it was extremely cold as well, and I groaned as I felt a massive throbbing in my head. What had happened? The last thing I remembered was a bright orange flash of light, and then...

"Shadowedstar? You awake now?" I heard Red's voice ask from somewhere in the blackness. Strange, her voice echoed oddly, like we were in a tunnel.

"Mm. Yeah. Where are you? What happened to everybody?" I asked, shaking my head and trying to move, only to realize that there were shackles around my wrists and ankles. What?

"I'm not sure. I just got up a few minutes ago, actually. I think I might have heard someone shouting a while ago, but it's been pretty quiet. Either we're the only ones here or they're out cold too. You think you can get out of your cuffs and figure out where we are?" She asked hopefully. I chewed my bottom lip and wasn't sure how to reply.

"I can try..." I replied, focusing my energy to make my body small enough to escape my bindings. A sharp pain put a stop to that and I yelped as searing agony made white flash in my eyes. Okay, no shapeshifting for me. I gasped as the pain passed and stilled as I heard a metallic screeching sound from somewhere around me, followed by a muted roar.

"Are you okay?" Red asked after the sound stopped. I winced and sighed.

"Yeah, I guess. But I don't think I can do much. I can't transform. Whatever caught us must have done something to halt magic. Sorry." I said, slumping back. My back felt even colder as I touched the wall, and I frowned at how hard it felt.

"I think we're in a metal room or something. Maybe the bottom of a big ship? Like a cruise ship that the humans use?" Red suggested. It seemed plausible...but why would be be chained up in a cruise ship? We listened quietly as another roar echoed quietly from the distance, and more metal screeching.

"Huh. Well wherever we are, that sound is getting pretty-" My words were drowned out by a terrible grating noise just behind me, and I cringed as the sound got louder and louder. Suddenly sparks were flying out of the wall a few yards to my left, and after a moment I felt something brush against my mind.

"Ah, S-chan. There you are." Vithmon said quietly in my head, and suddenly it was very bright. I blinked a few times in surprise and saw Vithmon stepping through a gaping hole that had been violently gouged out of the wall, and I jumped in alarm when Val's large Beast God form poked it's head in as well, filling the small room. He blinked at me for a moment, recognition on his avian face, and then he shrank rapidly down to the form I knew him best in.

"Little Hummingbird. You're safe~" He chirped happily, coming over to me and tearing my bindings away from the wall. He kissed my cheek and then moved across the room to where Red was, freeing her as well.

"Until we figure out where Havoc buggered off to, we can't get these chains off, sorry. He's the only one able to handle this kind of thing." Vithmon said calmly. I crossed my arms and looked at Val uneasily. He seemed pretty relaxed for the situatuation we were in.

"What happened? Where are we?" Red demanded sharply, flinching and ducking behind Val when Vithmon arched a brow and looked at her. He seemed amused by her fear and shrugged.

"To be blunt, we were abducted by aliens. I would assume since we aren't currently being tossed around like coach baggage we're still in space. Don't worry about it too much though, I've dealt with this kind of thing- oh, ******** hell." He stopped explaining suddenly, and as I was about to ask about it we were all thrown to the side. I slammed heavily into the wall as a loud alarm started to go off, and suddenly my stomach lurched as if we had started to fall.

"Hey, Vith...you didn't say anything about this. I don't know much about alien ships, but alarms are never a good thing." Val said as we got back to our feet. Vithmon frowned and shook his head.

"That's not supposed to happen. One of the idiots must have done something. I'm sure this won't be handled well but you'll just get upset if I don't tell you; the ship is crashing. Rather fast, actually. We should probably find an escape pod of some sort, or prepare ourselves for a very unpleasant crash landing." Vithmon said it so casually that it took a moment to sink in. When it occurred to me exactly what was happening I felt a spike of panic and looked at Val fearfully. He looked annoyed at most, and was patting Red's head as she started to breathe heavily.

"Oh, we'll be fine." he told her, and I was about to ask him what gave him that idea when a strange voice started to speak in a foreign language. Vithmon cocked his head to the side and listened for a moment, then licked his lips and looked around.

"We apparently have about a minute before we crash." He told us bluntly. Red looked ready to strangle him, but Val gave her a hug and extended his demon wings, wrapping them around both him and Red. Vithmon stepped toward me and did the same, and I scowled at him as the ship started to shake violently.

"You seem pretty accepting of this, Vithmon." I commented, making him grin eerily.

"Aren't I always? Come on, this can be fun. Don't you enjoy adventures, S-chan?" He asked, and I had a retort on my lips just as he flattened himself against me and a loud explosion outside the shelter of his wings knocked us around. His wings protected us from whatever was going on outside, but nothing was able to stop my head from slamming around until I fell unconscious.
