Starflyt  Cyentor You linger in the darkness.....
Cyentor hissed through his teeth. "No man, woman, or beast calls me a fool, and you should well be the last one to do it. Especially since I happen to be the one holding the weapon, and if you will remember, the sky." A bolt of lighting smashed into the ground next to Aurora, and suddenly Cyentor's arrow was pointing directly at her forehead. "No enchantress or anyone else chooses what I do and when I do it, ARE WE CLEAR?" Kicking the lizard's sword, he spent it spinning back to the creature's feet. "You can keep that. I already have one." Cyentor growled, his arrow still pointed at Aurora's forehead. Twenty years of his life were spent with people telling him what to do, and no shiny priss would make his choices for him.

"Bad choice." She then sent out a scream that was hurtful to only him and only he could hear as she pushed him into the wall.

You linger in the darkness.....
"You are a fool." T'ymen laughed and moved the cloaking as the field of magic shimmered and sparked into view. While he had been speaking, he had surrounded her in a bubble of cloaked energy, and now he made it visible for all to see. Her wonderful waves of absurd annoyance simply bounced around inside until they deteriorated. It happened to be much simpler than gagging someone, and helped to protect from blades and the like. Pushing his arrow through the shield, he pressed the razor-sharp tip against her throat, keeping his bow drawn. "You have one last chance. Either you step back from me, and this issue, or a kill you. You have no right to interfere, and if you become a problem I will not keep you around. Shut up and back off." His gaze darkened even further. This meddler had begun to anger him.
((Also, I have been told to inform you that any attempt at godmodding will get you an immediate ban, and you need to write more. Two sentences is entirely unacceptable, we know you can write longer and we would like to see it.))

Cyentor growled. "I would kill you right now, Prissy, but I don't have time to hide your shrimpy little body. Come along, before I make you wear a leash, then we'll see who the handler is." Unnocking his arrow, he turned to Verona and glowered at her for a second. "You have no more right to tell me what to do than she does...But you're correct. We've been here far to long, and I'm not in the mood to fight Lucid...again." Pulling off his quiver, he handed it and the bow to Verona. "Your knife won't help much if we run into something bigger, and magic is dangerous to use with all the evil creatures around. I already have a sword, and I know you can shoot I've seen you sneak out at night to practice." Cyentor twitched slightly; He had never enjoyed handing out his weapons, and his bow was of very fine craftsmanship. However, he couldn't protect everyone, so he needed someone else with a real weapon. Turning again, he faced the lizard. "I still don't know your name, but since Priss likes you so much and you obviously don't know her, then I'm officially appointing you her master. Make sure she doesn't do anything stupid, and don't fall behind. If she causes trouble, put a leash on her and drag her." Without another word he picked up the injured man and headed for the forest.

Cyentor knew it was a bad idea to use magic here, but he had no choice. The best he could do would be to limit it. Letting the energy flow through his body, he sent two tendrils of light shooting from his wrist. Wrapping around Aurora's wings, they pulled her back to the earth, and Cyentor caught her right before she hit the ground. "You don't understand, Dearie. I can't let you go, no matter your intentions, you know too much. If Lucid caught you he would make you talk, and I can't have that. Besides, you're more likely to find another of your kind if you stick with us, strange events seem to surround us." Leaving her wings bound, he cloaked the tendrils of light that held them still. "So you can either follow or I can give Lizardboy a leash to pull you with....and as for talking to strangers, they have better luck when they don't try to tell me what to do. You are not a better person then me, so don't boss me around." Cyentor spoke bluntly. Gently shifting the man into a better position, he headed for the forest. He didn't need to look at her to sense her movement. "Oh, and if you try to fly away, my "Handler" will shoot you."

((Thanks angel for trying smile I really do like seeing your writing, maybe to fill in more sentences you could explain details about the surroundings, your last post was great and it had a lot Starflyt could use in his own post, which made the RP better, as he said, you can use the preview button to see what your writing looks like before you post, I usually do it to make sure I wrote enough and to do a spell check since I sometimes type too fast and leave out a letter, lol))
Verona glared angrily at him and almost raised the bow he had given her and aimed at him, not Aurora. He had no right himself to tell her what to do, so just to make him annoyed, she dispersed the magic around the wings, using her own dragon abilities and walked over to the girl.
"If we promise not to create any more conflict with you, will you promise to follow us? As he said, you know too much now and we don't want you to get caught by one of our enemies....and we have many, like you, our race is almost extinct and they are still being hunted down like animals, us being no exception."
She lowered the bow and held out a hand. "My name is Verona, do you mind telling me exactly what race you are? Sorry, I have never seen another with your type of wings."

"Why you little....." Verona seethed, drawing the bow without thinking and aiming, then shooting at him, close enough that the tip of the arrow flew through the edge of his hair and embedded itself into the side of the building next to him.
"If you talk to me like that again, my arrow will make its mark, and I will keep your pretty bow." The dragon said, her eyes flashing dangerously. Without another word, she turned around, flicking her hair behind her and continued walking towards the castle. She could tell he was older, but not by much, she could take him head on if needed.
"And no, we do not have any time to fight, so why were you so eager to pick a fight with Aurora and the lizardman?" She turned back to give him a glare.

Cyentor jumped slightly, dropping into a fighting stance, then stood slowly back up. "Actually, you'd have to knife me....the bow is magic, it won't shoot me. it can't. If you try to fire an arrow at me it the string will just go slack...Or explode in your hands....I'm honestly not sure which." He sighed softly. "As for lizardman, he was following us, and I don't know him, and between the three of you all you have is your knife. I didn't want him to get near any of you without seeing him first. Aurora....landed in front of me and started ordering me around. Not only did I not know her intentions, now I have two people I can't trust yet running around with us. I didn't do anything until she tried to destroy my eardrums. I'm tired of beaing treated like I'm worse than other people. She's no better than me, I'm no better than you, and you're no better than me. We're all people and we should all treat eachother the same, with none of us ordering the others around. I'm sorry I upset you, but I'm in a hurry and I just want to make sure you are safe. I need your help protecting these people as much as you need mine." Cyentor gently picked the injured man back up and looked at her.

She took her hand and a spark formed. "My name is Aurora and I'm a Bird of Paradise. A very deadly creature when provoked. I'll only follow you if you keep your guard in line." She got up and sighed before looking at the darkening sky. "And I only know where you currently are. I know nothing more. But I need to see another of my kind.... Hopefully we will regain our species to it's former glory if I find another one." Aurora sighed and petted her wings. "And buddy? Do that to my wings again and you won't see the light of day again." Her eyes shined in the darkening light as twilight was approaching. "I know a place where you can sleep in safety." She turned to the quieting streets and silenced everything that could here them. Thank you for helping my with my wings Verona."
