Cecelia walked slowly, weaving her way through the crowds with ease. This mighted have looked unusual for a blind person to do, had anyone been paying attention. No one ever did, though. Cecelia had learned rather quickly that most people overlooked the small things that were out of the ordinary. The market was interesting. She liked studying the auras of the people around her, and listening to the sounds and smells all around her. There were a few street musicians and other preformers here and there. She'd heard that acrobats sometimes passed through town. Maybe she would be lucky enough to see one. That was something she could still enjoy, luckily. Cecelia was now following the mouth-watering aroma of pastries and other baked goods. She thought a snack might be good and her growling stomach agreed. She didn't get very far when someone barreled into her. She went flying forward onto the street losing her balance and her cane. She put her hands out to catch herself, but fell awkwardly. She ended up sprawled on the paved road, pain lancing throught her hands and one wrist. It wasn't too bad, but she could feel the raw skin on her palms. Her wrist would be aching for some time. She looked up to see who had knocked her down, and was immediately shocked by what she saw. He was like the lady-in-waiting in the castle, not human and extremely powerful. Except he was in a completely different level than her. Just a few seconds after they looked at each other his aura flashed brightly. She had to look away for a second, blinking. It was a little hard to look at, but just as it happened it was gone. His emotion were angry and disconcerted and... she couldn't catch that last one, he was surpressing it. "What do you want, girl?!" he yelled at her. Her jaw worked useless trying to answer. But her fear and shock seemed to keep all sound stuck in her throat. She backed away from him, half crawling but not taking her eyes off him. Her hand searched for the walking stick she'd lost, but couldn't find it. Was this man going to harm her? He had bumped into her, why was he asking what she wanted? Scared and unsure what to do, but with nowhere to go, she swallow the lump in her throat. She needed to say something. Maybe she could talk her way out of this. "I-I don't know w-what you mean." she said, not fully succeding in keeping her voice steady.

Verona "I have see more death and destruction than you can ever imagine..... ((yup, you are fine smile )) Verona had become very interested and curious about the girl she had seen, so she complained of feeling light headed to the other ladies and left the group, heading for the castle. As soon as she was out of sight of the princess, she changed direction and headed for the city, where she had seen the girl walking. Keeping alert, Verona swept her eyes back and forth, searching for any hint of silver hair. Just up ahead, there was a sudden scuffle ahead. The people around her moved around the two people, one was on the floor and she recognized the girl from the garden, the other was a man. Surprisingly, the man shocked her even more than the previous actions of the girl. He had suppressed his aura, but there was no mistaking the same atmosphere around him that Verona had. No matter how successfully he hid it, his kind would always recognize him as the dragon he was. Turning her attention away from the two, she quickly blended into the crowd, heading away from them. Trying to find something, anything she could seem like she was looking at, the girl caught movement above the rooftops and watched as a small lizard-like creature wrapped his tail around a tile, then grab a piece of bread from the selling stall below and drop some coins into the bowl to pay for it. She continued to follow the direction the majority of the crowd was taking, it seemed like they were heading towards the center of the city, Verona recalled one of the ladies talking about a carnival going on the next few days.
....and there is still more to come, I am the hunted."

By now his shouting had gathered a crowd, but they stayed at a good distance once they noticed his expression. He noticed how no one came to "save" the girl, or try to help her, and he was a bit disgusted but ignored it, knowing he would have just walked away as well. He stared down at the girl and was terrified at what he had seen within himself, caused by her. He didn't know what or who she was but he could tell she was powerful, yet not a dragon... Suddenly he tried to call upon his power, to see exactly what she was, and who's balance she held. Pain lanced through his head and physically winced, almost falling. He quit trying to access it and the pain left. He looked down at the girl angrily as she cowered away from him. "I-I don't know w-what you mean." she said. her voice sounded shaky to him, but also, weirdly soothing to him as well. He frowned slightly as he saw her holding her arm at an awkward angle and he sneered, more at himself then at her. He was sorry he had hurt her and he felt a need, he did not understand at all, to help her. But he shoved it down as his expression grew even more fierce. "I mean " he whispered fiercely so no one else would hear. "What do you want from me, and who are you to hold such power." As he finished saying this he spotted a man scurrying off with the girls walking stick and he snarled loudly, quickly stalking past the girl, mere inches from her and snatched the man by the back of his tunic. He struck him over the head and took the staff from him, happening to glance up as he did, he say a reptilian creature on the roof of the building. He sneered at it and turned back to the girl , vehemntly thrusting the walking stick at her. "Here" he practically shouted. He didn't want to come into physical contact with her because he didn't know what would happen so he urged her silently to quickly take by glaring at her, straight in the eyes. He noticed how they were grey, and some would consider her blind, but he saw a glimmer there....a gift, a power he couldn't name without his own power, though he wouldn't try again.

Cecelia never knew aura could be like a physical force, but his way. As the question left her lips, he'd paused. Then his aura had pressed against her, stifling. Like a wall of air against her. She had no choice but to move back. She stumbled as she walked backwards, and luckily she did not fall over anything. Soon the people disappeared and it was only him, a few cats and the vines that thrived here. Her back pressed up against the nearest wall and she was afraid. Then he just stood there, watching, waiting. Like a stone cold sentry, waiting for any sign of attack. For a second, she thought he softened and she started to relax as well, but then it was hostile again. These constant switching of feelings was frying her nerves. Yet, still he stood there, waiting. "I-I-I mean... y-your.." she paused, swallowing. She had to be strong. She tried to think of this as a test. Something to prepare her for a situation she might find herself in one day. This helped only slightly. "I can see your aura and it's not... human, or elf, or anything I've ever seen." she finally said, her voice almost a whisper.

He stared down at her, perplexed. How did this slip of a girl know he was not human? He glanced around quickly making sure no was around. The alley gave of a weird sort of feeling, one that made him uncomfortable, more so then the girl did. He turned back to her, ignoring it. "How do you see aura's? And what exactly is your power?" he asked roughly in a gravelly voice. For the first time a hint of pain entered his voice. "Are you going to tell someone? he whispered under his breath to himself. barley audible. "Are you going to reject me to" he angrily shook his head and slammed his fist into the wall, shattering the stones. Dizziness washed over him before hr righted himself once more and blinked rapidly. He stared at this Cecelia girl and didn't know what to do. Quite frankly he thought he should just leave and be on his way, without another thought to her. But something about her drew him to her, and that puzzled him, scared him, and angered him. He didn't need anyone! He Had enough trouble of his, finding work and keeping himself out of the hands of those who wanted him dead, which was everybody, he thought. He waited for her to respond, a hand on the wall to steady himself. He hadn't slept for three days, apparently it was catching up to him

Akuma just stared at her, slightly stunned. His eyes were wide and he looked down at her like she was an anomaly. No one had ever spoken to him like that before. They were to afraid, to scared of what he would do. And to some he would kill them for talking to him like that, or at least beat a lesson into them. With her he couldn't bring himself to do it. Oh he had hurt and killed plenty of women before, all guilty of some crime or getting on the wrong side of him. His darkness took over at those times and he couldn't seem to control it. With this girl...he felt his very soul trying to balance itself. He shook himself out of his reverie and noticed she was shaking slightly from nerves. He frowned and backed up a step, but then felt the pulsing of oily darkness from behind him and abruptly stopped blocking her from that path. "I have the right to ask anything I wish, even if i don't have the right to the answer." he said this quietly and in a monotone. "We need to leave this place now" some urgency registered in his voice as he felt the oily sensation growing , like it was getting closer... He reached for her arm, but hesitated in taking it. He would just have to risk the visions, he decided, taking her arm and quickly guiding her out of the alley, his anger more geared toward protecting her. he was still in slight shock from her standing up to him like that and he was sure his hostility toward her would come back, as it always did with everyone. He guided her through the street, as the sky turned orange with dusk. It would be nightfall soon and he had a feeling that oily blackness was searching for something....or someone. "Where do you live?" he snarled quietly as the sky darkened further and his urgency grew.
