Ko looked at the boy who had handed him the gun with a nod. Then turned towards Fuyuki, "There's no need to get so antsy. As blue boy here said, I'm curious. Keep in mind I did get into this for research purposes. I'm assuming the word 'drifter' refers to those of us here? Easy enough. Phone playing a big role, that's important info, same with the death thing. Research is meant to be spread and I would have gotten myself killed in no time. I'm just trying to not screw anything up." If we just randomly go around then we're all going to be killed by those Taboo. And contrary to what it seems I've made Fuyuki believe, I really don't want to die. So we need a plan besides go look for it." Ko wonered where the guy who said he was going with them had gone. He seemed to have known the other drifters and went to go check something. What did he know that they didn't.

After hearing what Ko said, Fuyuki is shocked. "Who told you we're going to search without knowing where it is? I guess the white haired barrier guy already went to check where it is. Maybe you don't like this but let's just be patient and wait."She said. Fuyuki took out the bottle she got before coming into PSYREN and took a sip before closing it again.

As soon as the conversation died down, Shinjin returned to the rest of the group. "Sorry about the wait. I had to check on my brother. In any case, it seems that the gateway home is only a short trip to the north of where we are currently. There aren't very many dangerous zones between here and there, but don't let your guard down. It could very easily be one of WISE's traps," he informed the girl, the taller man, and the blue boy, "Now, let's get a move on. The Taboo will catch up with us eventually." He quickly headed towards the door. As soon as he could travel no further, he removed the barrier that he had created over the building so that he and the others could leave. As he left the building, he tried to start a conversation with the rest of the group. "So, what are your names?" he inquired, "It might be for the best if we get to know each other a little better, since we will be working together for now, and possibly even more in th foreseeable future."

Shinjin decided to guess which of the two, the girl or the boy in blue, had the greatest proficiency with their psi powers. If he had a guess, then he would have believed that the girl was the most proficient, simply because of the feeling that he got when he looked in her direction.

"Owww," Hinata groaned as she sat up in the sand. Hang on, she thought, SAND!? She looked around at the desolate wasteland in which she found herself. "Whoa...Where am I?" She wondered. She didn't have much time to think, though. As soon as she stood up, a huge shadow loomed over her, swiftly followed by a punch from behind. She jumped out of the way, then turned around to face her attacker. She soon regretted doing that. A monster carrying some kind of club stared down at her for awhile, then tried attacking again. Fuyuki heard a girl screaming, she turned and saw a girl attacked by a taboo. Before she could do anything, Ryoku had already killed it. "Nice, what amazing strength you have there. But why are you taking the corpse with you?" Fuyuki said, a little confused by his action. Fuyuki then turned to the girl "Are you new? Or are you a WISE?" She asked her.
