How is every one and their rat/s/!?!?!?

My collection has grown!

...and sadly shrunk as well.

My poor boy Rube passed away a couple months ago. We are still unsure of what, though he did have a bulge in his belly. We suspect his megacolon finally got him. (He had a mild case and mostly just had to be on a small dose of laxatives every once in a while.)

We still have the original, the amazing, the rather nosy at dinnertime: Wilson. :3 He is doing well and constantly trying to get out. He is in the midst of a case of mites though and has lost a bit of hair. :/ Ivermectin isn't working. Boo.

We got a new male and female - brother and sister. We kept them together a wee bit too long. D: All the babies save one found good homes. The one we kept. His name is Stumpy...he's missing a foot. His mama's name is Harley and UncleDaddy is Joe.

Last is our newest...he was a "feeder" rat at the store I work at. An adorable "large" rat with dumbo ears, who was gray and white. His name is Kuzco. Wilson and Kuzco are best buddies and Kuzco and Stumpy play often.

Joe and Harley are separated from the other rats: Joe because he is aggressive with other rats and Harley because she is female. Still looking unsuccessfully for homes for these two, so they can get the love and attention they need. D:

My rat, Doogle, is in the doghouse at the moment. She, being the sneaky genius she is, somehow reached out her cage, out of her normal range, snagged a prized shirt of mine, and well... ate it. crying

Well, I've had some loses. Foofoo passed a few days ago, old age.
So now it's just Des, who's depressed.

But I adopted a rather nippy, psychotic, rescue rat named Lotus who I'm TRYING to introduce to Des... They aren't hurting eachother, or anything... They just don't LIKE eachother. :/

Since last I checked in I got a new rat, Mason (but I call him Mushii). However two days ago I lost my rat Kade, he was an old man when he passed away but I still miss him.

Have had my rat, Sam, for three months. We finally took her into the vet yesterday and found out she has lice sad does anyone know of any rat lice treatments? currently we are using revolution (for dogs and kitties) from the vet.

My rat got mites and we washed him with lice shampoo and it got rid of the mites just fine. All you have to be careful of is washing them clean. If you continue the current treatment everything should be fine.

On an unrelated note: Mushii passed away fathers day. I assume he was eating to much, to fast, or he choked on his food because he was perfectly fine earlier that day. Just as a precaution we got rid of the old cage. Kade happened to die in the cage as well so we didn't want to take any chances.

im absolutely great! My baby girl, Sam, has grown quite large in four months and I have absolutely loved watching her grow and become good friends with me, and I'm very excited as i recently enlarged my family (i hope yu know im speaking about RATS, not children) hehe. Annnnyways, I found two females in petco free for adoption and they are great angels. One is an albino, her name is Eleanor Renee, and the other is black with a white underside, and her name is Fren. They grew up together and currently live in a seperate cage as Sam, because sam has become jealous and they all end up attacking each other crying but im sure sam will end up becoming friends with eleanor and fren!
p.s.- SO EXCITED SAMS LICE WERE TREATED AND CURED
