Races
List of playable races. Rarely will there be one that is unplayable, but if it is, there will be an asterisk next to it. For those who don't know what that is, it's this thing *.
Humans
Typical humans for the most part. The only thing that needs said is that some humans can use abilities. Human characters tend to have a specific specialty, be it weapons crafter, Weapons user (generally one specific type of weapon, for example, Rifles, which would include all types, including sniper rifles), ect. If you aren't sure if something fits into the specialty section, ask me, or add it to your character skeleton and hope it's accepted. Have a back-up specialty ready just in case. (I might allow more than one specialty depending. Be reasonable.)
The Amorphous
A sort of Shapeshifter type of race, but instead of simply being able to shape shift into different animals, the Amorphous are able to change their skin color to match what's behind them, under them, below, ect, or even actually able to make their skin shift into a certain material like stone, molten rock, sand, wood, pebbles, ect. Some Amorphous can change themselves into the embodiment, be it human like, animal like, or beast like, of an element, such as fire, water, ice, electricity, earth, wind, ect. If you make one of these, and are not sure if something is allowed, just ask me. I'll let you know.
Androids
This race is actually an advanced form of robotic being. They hold a, most commonly, human like form, so accurate that it's often next to impossible to tell the difference, and there are plenty of people who really CAN'T tell. Of course depending on what side they play on, or their personality in general, (which isn't really decided for them completely in this case, so much as it's developed over time by them after a base is made while they are in the lab they are created in) it could be a fatal sort of mistake. The only real way to tell if an Android, is indeed an android, is to look for a metal band they have somewhere on their bodies, or a bar code, but some are good about hiding it beneath clothing or make-up, depending on whether it's the band or code. Their eye color tends to stretch from semi-normal/normal, to completely unnatural. Something like a bright neon green, or a fluorescent pink. The pupils, upon close inspection, shift in an unnatural way at times, like pupils expanding in bright light, or shrinking in the dark, or simply changing shape at random moments depending on the focus of the Android who's pupils are changing.
Some Androids have naturally, well, unnaturally shaped pupils, like slits, stars, crosses, cross-airs, plus like shapes, X's, horizontal slashes, diamond shapes, ect, but most that have a reason to not be caught, tend to hide them beneath contacts of some sort, or shades.
- - Going against what most people think when they hear someone speak of androids, there are, in this world, those that were not originally created in a lab, and made up of nothing but synthetic materials meant to mimic actual organs or skin, over and in a human (or otherwise) shaped robotic frame with an extremely advanced AI. There are also humans or other creatures who have undergone special surgeries that replaced internal organs, bones, and possibly even parts of the brain that were severely damaged, that became a form of Android as well. Often times, those that needed surgery for a severe enough brain injury, lose a large chunk of, all of, or a small portion of their memories. Most never regain the lost parts of their lives, but some others do, but it's more than a little likely that they will never be capable of completely regaining them.
The difference between Human Androids (or whatever else they may be), and Cyborgs, are that pretty much all the modifications are hidden within their bodies, and they still retain their normal appearance, perhaps minus a few small differences, if they are even really noticeable. Of course those who are changed into androids are capable of getting other modifications done to their body, but generally they are concealed within until whatever the modification it may be (and depending on whether or not they are meant to be seen from the outside) is used and meant to be exposed.
