Nymphet had been sleeping silently, a dreamless sleep, floating in the haze of lethargy. The smallest of flinches as Niom began to dress her, the girl trying to roll away and sleep, wings popping out and sprawling over the bed. Why was she moving? It was starting to wake her up, sleepy brown eyes looking at her guardian. And then a bolt of magic ran through her system, waking her up. "Niom-!" but it was cut off, watching in horror what happened next. Liki smiled, a small flicker of fire magic on his fingers. "Really Niom, I thought you knew better." And ran the fire covered fingers over the black leather, watching it heat up underneath them, removing his hand, the fire dying out except for his index finger, pressing it hard against the center of the book.

"Forget about me, are you okay?!" She questioned, sleeves just barely covering her hands. Shino's clothes were big on her. "Where does it hurt?' And she touched him, not his skin thank God, she had been too exhausted earlier to hear his thoughts, but now she was awake, prying and pulling at his clothes before growing frustrated and lifting them. His skin was pink, and there was a hole being gouged in his chest. "Master stop!" She cried, trying to stop it but unable too.
The man smiled, hearing the little angel's cries. "Sadly I cannot, my dear Nymphet." And he grabbed a simple bag of ice, looking at it before taking out a rather large piece of it and put it over the book, grinning rather sadistically. His fingers were running up and down the corner of the pages, continuing to wait. "Pets need to be punished if they disobey the master."

Niom started to shiver and then shake, his chest turning blue from the cold, "Ny-Nymphet, it's ok." he said softly, his eyes closing, "if it means your freedom and my prince's life then this is nothing." he grit his teeth and smiled as gently as he could at her, "forgive me, you were sleeping quite well, weren't you?" he stroked her cheek with a glove covered hand, "lay down and get some more sleep, little one. i'll be ok, he wont kill me. he thinks me too much fun to play with for killing."

"It's not okay! No! He's hurting you! Why is he hurting you, you didn't do anything!" She exclaimed, feeling the gloved hand. "I cannot sleep when you are here freezing! What sort of spell has he put on you?!" But somethign told her this wasn't a spell. Before she could speak the prince had shoved her out of the way, leaving her in pain on her wings, moving slowly, waiting for the tenderness to dull out, sitting up and actually kicking the prince in the arm. "You rude child! I've yet to see what is wrong! It is not on his physical being but it is a spell of sorts!"
Nymphet was always so smart, he liked the little angel girl. "The prince cannot help whatsoever. Knife, check, ink, check, powder, check." and smiled, shifting the ice to where it was only on one side. Liki's knife seemed more like a metal spear sort of rod that you held kabobs on, the only difference was that it was metal. "You will always be mine. The ice is to merely numb the pain." he murmured, drawing the design he wanted on the leather before placing the ice over it once more, letting the ink freeze and dry.
"Niom, what is on your neck?" She asked, pointing to a black line which seemed to just barely poke out from his collar, stopping just underneath his jaw. This was not good, the child grabbing at the fabric and pulling it down, seeing more ink lines trailing down his shoulder and to his chest. It looked incomplete though, like there should be some on his back.
"and we're cold enough, again. Poor thing I can't have you freeze to death. the pain should warm you up." Liki murmured, taking the metal pointer and ressing it against his finger, pricking it. "Nice and sharp, that's good." And then pressed it tothe bottom right corner of the front, leathery book cover, gently digging into it, watching the black ink of the book flow out with each scratch. "You'll look beautiful with this on."

Your Missing Period Liki laughed in his room, holding up the book and letting the ink drip into a small bottle before tossing it behind him onto a written spell, the spell suddenly coming to life and crackling. Placing the book back down he rubbed in the powder before continuing the carving, etching and hehad to use a different took tool to peel off more then a line of the leather, some parts of the marking were thicker then others, but he continued to work diligently, the crackling and clicking sounds of bones behind him moving around, the hiss as flesh melded together. of course he could practically hear Niom's screams of main, the book was bleeding quite often. Thirty-minutes it took, Liki finally placing down the tools, stretching as he glanced back at the creature. "How are you feeling, Edwin?"{/color] Golden eyes flicked up along with long black ears, a small groan being heard from the hound. "That's to be expected, you were just born." And smiled, watching the magic crackle around the fur. Nymphet had more or less forced Niom to remove his clothes, a pillow being used to absorb the blood as the markings were continuously carved into his back over and over again. Then it stopped, the girl waiting a few moments before pulling the pillow away, no new marks added. "We will need a proper first aid kit, food, ice, bandages and quite a lot of gauze. And silk, make sure the dressings are silk!" She exclaimed at the prince, flipping the pillow over and placing the nearly clean side onto the wound. Why was there so much blood in a person?
