This is for anyone who's read Mastiff and wants to discuss it and not have to worry about spoiling it for the rest of the Guild. A lot of people probably won't have read it right when it comes out so it's easier to make a new thread for any spoilers while discussing the book.

I finished Mastiff last night! I loved it! I'm not sure how Rosto/Beka major shippers are going to like it, though, Rosto is hardly in it AT ALL! But I loved it!! There were so many twists, and the final BIG twist, OMG! I know we're allowed to discuss it here, but I'll wait till someone else finishes reading, or posts about it here, to discuss everything that happened! So yeah. Just have to say, Tamora Pierce nearly gave me a heart-attack multiple times throughout the whole book! ~Linda~

Glad to hear you liked it - I'm not planning on reading it, though I know the major twist and a lot of what happens (I made the mistake of venturing onto a board with spoilers on it), and I've read the first chapter, which was all I was planning on reading...

I'm probably going to get it for Christmas and I doubt I'll read more than the first chapter. I'm not happy with how she's handled the series. I'll stick to fanfics thank you very much.
