Divination Class

Marcus casually strolled into his newly set up classroom and sat down in quite a semi-formal manner behind his new desk. "...Hmmm... I wonder what the students of Hogwarts are like... Well... I suppose I will find out soon once their little vacation is over," he stated to himself as he just laced his fingers together and rested his chin upon them with his elbows on his desk. The way he spoke sounded as if he was dignified and well mannered, as well as having a tone of wisdom in his voice. He always seemed to be hiding something with that attitude of his that could be described as rather mysterious. He seemed like a fox and always looked like he was up to something. However, nothing was revealed about his motives... He was just that cunning.

Athena walked up to the door and looked inside and knocked on the door. "Is this Divination" She asked questionly

Marcus turned his gaze to the door and raised both of his eyebrows in a bit of surprise when he heard a knock. Walking over to the door, he opened it and saw a young girl standing at the doorway. Hearing her question, he made a casual smile as he said, "Why yes, it is. For a moment, I was beginning to think I would not be teaching anyone for the entire year. Maybe it is because I look somewhat intimidating." With a very short chuckle and then a small sigh afterwards, he said, "Sorry. Bad joke. Take a seat anywhere you want." He then walked back to his desk, gathering a few things while he waited for the girl to take a seat in one of the empty student desks.

Luna walked into the class room, making some loud foot steps.
She was a girl who never bend.She took a seat, racing next to Athena.
"hey! how was your summer?" she asked.

Melody entered the class and took her seat behind Luna. She just came back from her vacation and heard that there were lots of new classes going on. " Hi Luna. How was your stay in Hogwarts?" She didn't noticed that the professor was in the class.

Once Marcus had fixed some papers and books on his desk, he turned around to see two more new students. With one eyebrow raised up in surprise, he said to himself in a quiet tone, "Strange how things work in Hogwarts. One student shows up to class and then more flood in after just a few short moments." This was his first time teaching here, so he assume that he would not have many students. But, he would need to make sure before he started the class. As he stood facing towards his small amount of students, he questioned them, "Before I start teaching, do any of you know of any other students that will possibly be attending this class?"

Athena looks at the girl next to her and smiles. "It was good thanks for asking" Turns to the professor "I don't think your intimating" she says with a smile.

Athena takes her seat in the front row. "Sorry cant really say. I havent seen much of my housemates so i couldnt ask them" Takes out her book and reads till class gets started.

Marcus heard Athena's statement regarding the fact that she did not think he was intimidating. At this event, he made his casual small smile and stated, "Why thank you, miss-" He looked to his roster really quick before continuing by saying to complete his gratuitous statement, "Athena." When she responded to his question, he paused for a few moments before saying, "I see..." He then said to all three of his students, "Well, if they do happen to show up in this class and they have missed some lessons, can you please assist them so they do not end up failing?... I lecture quite a bit...and I know this may be an inconvenience, but I do not go back on lessons... Just as time cannot go back... Unless, of course, you had some type of time traveling trinket...but that's something we will get to later."

"Yeah i can help them" Athena smiled. She turned back to her book and continued to read

Luna turned to Melody
"Well..it was pretty boring days.But I got to go to the candy shop all day!"
she said smiling.

When Athena said that she would help those that would be late to the class, Marcus nodded in acknowledgement to her statement and then turned his gaze to the other two students...who seemed to be talking and did not respond to what he had basically asked. Within a few moments, he took out his wand and put the tip to his neck and said with his voice amplified to the volume projected by a megaphone, "Will you two chatterboxes do that as well?" He was wondering if they had paid attention to what he asked. So if they were to ask what exactly 'that' was, then that particular outcome would mean they were indeed not listening.
