One idea I had right off the bat was a guild purge.
With the exception of a few veterans and friends who are always welcome here, we empty the guild roster save for us and the vets. Start with a clean slate and hide the guild.
If we go into hiding, it'll give us some private time to prepare new roleplaying experiences and subforums ready for mass. Not like we need to hide it, but maybe switching the privacy setting to hidden will make people more interested in finding us.
Another idea I had was making up some classes and fully remaking our profiles, however that is up to all of us, not just me. I would go all out and do up my profile new with classes and a point system and such, but you all probably have a better idea along those lines.
OH! While i'm on it, systems. We need to make up some cool systems like life and energy. That way it's not considered God moding if we use an ungodly amount of energy and life to kill or try to kill our enemies. Maybe energy quotes or something in our posts, and the life system could go down by points depending on the attack used, we can discuss more about it in the month to come.
On classes, I have a few worked out in another guild I run. Maborofel has seen them, he knows what I'm talking about. However, before we bring them here, I want to get opinions on why we should or should not have them.
Well I think that's it from me for now, i'll add more later as the thoughts come in.

Aw, but we loves joo anyway Aylin! ^3^
So far the classes I have made are Humans, Weapon Lovers, Close-Quarters-Combat fighters, Mask Bearers, The Chess Pieces, Animal Warriors, Alchemists, and Duo Invictus which are like two personality people.
I don't have much of a description for each one, but everyday I try and think of one more. I'm trying to come out with a steady 9 classes, and then see where it goes from there. FROM THERE, we can add one or two as we go, but we need to make sure they are fairly weighted in terms of pros and cons.

I also agree with the idea of a guild purge, it seems that lots of not-here members drag the guild down with their...appearance of usefulness, when in reality they aren't here at all...
On a related note, sorry I haven't done anything in here, after that Star Wars RP died, I lost interest....really didn't feel like doing a KH RP, no offense.
On the subject of roleplay simplicity, while not allowing godmoding and such, we can look to a system I helped build in another guild. The overall system is that basic fighting is just that, basic fighting. For 'bigger' attacks/abilities, we have instated varioius restrictions and prerequisites to avoid spamming them...all of this is based on a D20 system (although we were going to update it into a d8/10/12 system before the others stopped working on it)
anyway, to those that are interested in ideas, here are the links to our system...we have a 'no stealing ideas' system over there, but inspiration and proof-of-concept is free, yes?
Thread of developing ideas The old combat guide (note that we also had systems in place for priest/healers and wizard/mages)
I hope I don't get chewed out for directing you all here....I should talk to the guild head about this

Captain_Shinzo The biggest thing we need to work on in battle is simplicity. It's a stretch but we want all roleplayers to enjoy themselves with complicated decisions. So, mostly allow great free will. Then, once they can be pretty powerful with limitations, they can expand this with weapon and power rewards as they progress. Mostly just adding on to their profile and getting stronger and stronger with more versatile abilities. It will need to be managed but the idea of having Demi-god to godly roleplayers would not only be fun, but enjoyable for most without the feeling of being too limited or dried out in strength.
I like where you're coming from Shinzo.
Free will in a roleplay is key to keeping it alive. But I would have to suggest a long road of trial and error before people are Demi-gods. Lol. I know that might have been what you meant I was just stating it for myself. ^^
For the most part, yes versatility is key, but sometimes e'rybody's gotta follow certain rules put forth, to which end the classes I made are like those in a Naruto guild I am part of, Aylin knows which one. (Road to Glory) They are not stolen classes, but they are varying branches of each class, with the exception of a couple. This will give players a way to rank up and have fun with it, with motivation to boot.

It's okay, Maboro, I'm sure if we just explain our dilemma of an aspiring guild in the making, they will be lenient and willing to help. Hell we may even get some new, active members, if they are as such.
But yes, first thing's first. We can't bother with PMing everyone about this purge. I would like to vote for straight up purging everyone inactive out of the guild, with, of course, the exception of our veterans. True they may never return, but they were pioneers and my first friends on here, I would like them to have the option. =) If anyone else has "veterans" they'd like exempt from ban hammer targeting, please make it known here. =)
