The Ravinhill City files: book one

[Senente]

Katrina sighed as she walked out of the classroom for Drama class and heaved a sigh as she walked. A loner is what she was and being on stage at ten in the morning trying to get things ready for a huge perfomance was the last thing she wanted, but now, it was the class before lunch and her worst, trigonametry, she would beging to hear the teacher lecture on what they went over from the day before, and it would put her to sleep.

She walks by a tall young man that looked like he was about seventeen, maybe eighteen in age, but was really twenty one, with jet black hair, gentle blue eyes, sort of like a dark twilight blue. Wearing a green jacket with a black shirt and jeans. Oh great....Tobias.... She thought heading up the stairs, but once the bell rung Katrina sighed as she walked in late as always. With the teacher being a boring old man, Mr. Sanderson, was the high schools' most boring teacher. She looked up a seat and saw Tobias and sighed as he sat there digging for a pen. He leaned back. "Hey, Kat, do you have an extra pen?" he asked in a sly whisper. Katrina put on a fake smile and gave him one that she riged to explode on him. "Sure I do. Here you are." She said lying though her teeth.

Tobias clicked the pen and began to try and write, but it wouldn't. He clicked it again and again and shook it a little, than clicked it one last time and he sighed as the black ink was all over his jacket, shirt, jeans, and face. katrina began laughing under her breath as she watched him walk out from the room.

As soon as Katrina got out and saw that Tobias was in a pair os sweat pants and a white tee shirt that said Italy, she let out a smile, for now, she was free of school, and so was all the seniors of that year.

Katrina woke up to hear the most annoying sound in the world....he alarm clock, but it was going to be the last time she was going to hear it, untill college. Sliding on some nice clothes for once instead of her jeans and tee shirt and sighed as she was ready to finaly say good bye and move out from her annoying parents and find a new place to call home.

Once inside the school's performing arts center, she saw that Tobias was talking with his father Deric and little brother Damin, and there was another reason why Katrina scolded Tobias, was his little brother. She wanted a sibling when she was younger, but her parents never gave her one. She sat down and just watched as the underclassmen sung to keep things in the ceremony calm. She just waited and watched as the crowd grow bigger and bigger. Soon she becomes bored and sneeks out her iPod and begins listening to Bring Me to Life and looks up to see Jeremy and his twin brother, Eric a couple rows up. The two of them loved confusing their teachers by saying who's who, and it always messes up everyone. Hope those idiots don't pull off their little game here. Katrina chucled in her own mind.

Britt was in and out knowing it was the day she could sigh in relief high school was finished though there were a few close calls but at this point...it was a good day in a way, looking around she sees everyone in a chatter amongs the other just as happy the hard four years were up.Even with all the excitement atmosphere and good mood Britt huffs wandering around away from the rest of the people since she wasnt one to really talk to anyone except a small handful but only for a few short words and off she would blending into the crowd."I cant believe this is the time already having to actually not deal with the constant chatter of the halls and teachers breathing down your neck...about time." Britt stops realizing she was walking and ended up near the cornor not really paying attention but she remained neutral about the ceremony not really acting so excited about making it to the finale of school...at least till college came around which wasnt her main priority of thinking at this point, mainly just getting it done and out of the way so she could get out of the chaos.  

[Senente]

"What are you doing here Arron!" She yelled, demanding for him to awnser. She held the face of rage knowing that he was planing something, and the last thing she wanted to do is know his shinanigans with the fact that Arron was like that. He would prank the teachers by putting gum on the student's papers, unscrewing the teacher's chairs so they would get hurt, taking a virus ridden flashdrive and putting it in the school's computers, but the main thing that got him booted was him changing his grades to graduate.

"I've had enough of you acting like a child Arron!" She said in a hushed tone, but Arron's watch was going off of about the last thirty seconds, and Katraina hurried back stage to evacuate the theare by pulling the fire alarm. Tobias saw Arron and ran over to Damion to have him run along with everyone, but Damion held on to his brother, but thankfuly, one of Tobais' friends, Samantha, her parents took him as he chased down Arron.

Once Tobias had Arron on the ground, the beeping stoped and Katrina, Tobias, Arron, Jeremy, Eric, and some students got covored in a strange green chemical soaking them all to the skin. Katrina was able to get out and fell to the ground growing pale as if she was sick.....in fact all the studnts sprayed fell sick.

Damion ran up to Toby and tried to hold his tears back as he tried to get him some help and saw a young girl. She was a quiet girl, dark black hair and beep brown eyes. Dark complextion. A Hawkford crest on her deep red blazer and a green skirt. Normaly students from Hawkford and public school students don't socialize, but he needed help and he needed it fast.

Looking amongs the few that were still in the theater Britt still managed to stay on her feet ingnoring the signs however had an idea something wasnt right watching a stranged colored water rain down dripping near her eyes, simply it was everywhere.

"What is this stuff? I know its not plain old water its not clear, did a pipe broke or something?" she questioned it while trying to find a way out far from the spray but every turn she tried she either tripped on someone and bumping into another person, something wasnt right as Britt heared something loud in the other room but her mind was starting to fog up and sounds became hard to hear and as well her vision was bad from the dripping liquid that kept going. As soon as Britt was walking it got harder to move with each step feeling as if she was walking of hot coals with weights in her ankle as the strange water that drenched her clothes started to feel wierd once it touched her skin then everything was getting from bad to worse, the heaviness became too much as Britt tumbled on her own feet hitting the ground only to land in a puddle the spray made trying to breathe right seeing she was a almost a few step from an exit her body gave up.

"Whatever is happening here...its becoming too much I can move another inch...this is not how I wanted to end school face in an odd colored water and stuggling to get out." All she could feel was the water raining like needle on her back as the sounds she heared became muffled and her mind wondering what was going on if this was a sick joke someone was pulling, Britt had no clue at this point.

As soon as the sprinklers stopped, Arron wnt back inside for Samantha, and found Katrina as well. With both on his shoulders, he was able to get both of them out of the school. He took Katrina and Sam to an old house and sighed as he got some towels and dried himself off. Only thing is with abandoned houses, they attract two things, cats, and bats. One of the small kittens ran up to Katrina and currled up, that was Katrina's fusion of DNA, and with Sam being on Arron's back, she woke up in a shock and unknowingly ran out of the house and deep into the park and she felt as if her back was twisting. As soon as it stopped, she looked and wondered why her back would hurt like that, so, heading back home, she saw Damion and sighed.
"Damion...how about I take you home?" She asked as he looked up. "I have to wait for my brother....he should be coming out sometime soon." He whimpred. Sam sighed and didn't want to get the chemical on him, so, she just smiled and wove her hand to take Damion home while leaving a note for Toby in a napkin in his dark rusty, black, truck that he would take him and his brother to school in.

Sam sat around Toby's house for a couple of days sleeping on the couch, and Damion was a little pest to her. Only reason is that after their mother died and having a girl in he house was something the get used to, but Sam made sure he was fed and watched him as he did his homework. Sam was sore during the time and discovored two deep brown burses on her back and they were a pain for her.

Late on a warm summer evening, Sam went to bet early only to wake up to a car door and grew conserned and headed down stairs to find out that Deric was home after being gone for the last three months, and he was hoping that he wasn't too late to see Toby get his daploma, but when he looked on the bookshelf and saw Tobias' name he sighed and sat down to find Sam.

"What are you doing here, Samantha? Shouldn't you be at home?" He asked her in a tired voice. Sam handed him a glass of tea before she sat down and began with a simple sigh. "There was an incadent at the school while during graduation. Arron got kicked out a day before the graduation, so, he rigged the sprinkler system and it sprayed a good number of students, but my parents got Damion out in time, but I got seperated in the confusion and got sparyed, as well as Tobias, but I haven't seen him. I've been watching Damion for you and now I...." A sharp wave went though Sam's back and she felt a pinch from both bruses and screamed. Deric watches as his son's friend was in pain and she flet ripping and soon it was over.

Sam was asleep on the floor and something was covoring her back. Deric looked up on the wall to see Sam's blood on it and runs up to get a couple of dark towels and cleaned Sam's back off and layed her on the couch and cleaned off the blood on the wall. That day, Sam, Toby, Arron, Katrina, Marcel, Britt, Jeremy, Eric, all their lives changed.

As things became quiet Britt's mind was continuously replaying the sounds she heared once she even passed out, all the sounds of the cries of help, the patter of the water hitting her, and the faint but audiable sirens blaring from the fire systems....each sound blending togather til it was complete silence. She wakes slowly vision blurred as things started to move making it as if she had been battered up in a dryer and thrown hard back to the ground however it starts to come into focus yet they wernt familier. As the surroundings came clear Britt moves her head around to see she wasnt inside anywhere but huddled outside amongs a few thing and finds enough energy to at least get on her knees figuring out she was between the school and another building in the narrow allyway not many students come in but somehow with some thinking Britt came to a conclusion that somehow amongs the chaos she was able to get near the passage before shutting down completely however it was all in thought and her mind was a mess, shaking her head it cleared a few thoughts as she got up using the brick wall as support till she was wobbling on her feet retaining her balance.

"Did i just dream all this or....did I actually went through it?" she asks herself but the evidence was literally the clothes on her back, damp but a little dried from the water it was enough to make a point Britt did get into the chaos and was part of it before going down for the count however she questioned herself noticing that everything was quiet and everyone was gone not knowing she had been out hidden amongs a few things for a couple days and wasnt alert on it. Waiting a few minutes till there was feeling in her legs Britt knew she had to get away from the place she was and figure out what happened or a least wonder what even happened in the first place.
