Alexis was looking at him. Hard. And he knew she wasn't missing a beat. Was it because she suspected him of lying? He should have known he wouldn't be able to hide anything form her, given how perceptive she was. It was no wonder she was able to figure him out so well. Her eyes, blue and clear, shone right on his face. It was like she was trying to bore into him or something. Keagan wanted to tell her that it had been petty jealousy that had separated them over the last month. Really, he wanted to tell her the truth. But how could he do that without sounding like an a**? how could he honestly do that without losing points? He'd pulled back. That's when he'd allowed Deke to step in. Or rather, allowed Alexis to step over to Deke. He had no one to blame for himself, just like he would be at full blame if she called him out on a lie. When her brows knitted together, and he heard the words Alexis spoke, he felt even worse. he'd have to set thing straight. When she said that she would never think less of him, he chastised himself. He should have just told her the truth from the beginning. She would have known, and probably laughed at him, and thought him a fool. Now, she would know him as a lair. he would have rather been a fool.

However, when she said that she didn't think he knew how much she liked him, his heart stopped beating for a split second. he was about to question her further when people filtered into the room. First came Ethan and a newer male that he thought was named Lucian, but truly, the bobcat shifter had no idea. He'd been as antisocial as convicted felons towards the cops. Then, a drenched female appeared. Neena. Keagan closed his eyes, rolling them behind his closed eyelids. There was no way in hell he was going to admit he was a jealous liar in front of all these people, even if he kept his voice at a level only Alexis would be able to hear. It simply wouldn't be done. When he opened his eyes, Alexis was off the couch. She turned off her music, and came back to him, standing in front of him. This was it. this would be where she told him she knew he was lying, and that he was an idiot. And that she was hurt. And he'd feel like a complete jackass, worse then he already did. And he'd have to do something really special just to make it up to her. But, surprisingly, those words never come.

Instead, Alexis mouthed the words "my room", and then told him to get off the couch. He smirked, stretching out a bit more on it. "You're not strong enough to move it with me on top? I think you are. Come on, you can do it." he smirked, sitting on the couch for another few seconds before peeling his a** of the cushions and helping Alexis move the couch back to it;s position against the wall. He wasn't a complete a**. he knew not to make the woman do all the work. The grin she had worn on her face made him want to kiss the lips that playfully called to him. He couldn't' do that in the public though. And he probably wouldn't get to do that after he told her he'd flat out lied to her, less then half an hour ago. He clenched his fist at his side, and followed, as Alexis made her way to her room. he lingered a bit behind, even as she went inside her room and started throwing things around. he lingered outside the door, giving her a moment of privacy before entering the room, and closing the door after the two of them. he was fairly certain no one had seen him sneak inside.

He stared over Alexis' form greedily, before chastising himself. Telling himself he really didn't deserve such a great girl. It was true. he'd just lied to her. Why would he deserve her? He brought his arm back behind his head, scratching at the back of his neck nervously, looking away from her face. When he met her eyes again, he let out a sigh and strolled his shoulder. "I was in a mood. A jealous mood. It was like.. I turned around for two seconds, and then you were spending all your time with Deke. I should have just come to you. Approached. Not hidden away. But watching youa round him... I should have trusted you more. I like you... a lot. i really like you Alexis. And seeing you with other guys... I mean... I really like you. It makes me mad... and I know I have no right... but still. I'm not saying don't be friends or trying to control or anything or..." He looked away and mentally kicked himself for the foot-in-mouth syndrome that seemed to be taking over his speech. He closed his eyes, exhaled, and looked to Alexis again. "I like you. A lot. I might be... falling... I think I love you..." There. That was dangerous. The use of the "L" word, was definitely dangerous in their situation, but he had to let her know. He had to make sure he was heard. Loud and clear. And then, he watched her, waiting to see something fall over her face. Some indication that he was wrong, or right. Whatever she chose. As long as she didn't hate him.

Adam seemed just as repulsed by the rain as Spencer was. He was glad for the other male to show up, even if he fell on his a** the moment he stepped out the door. "Really showing that feline grace, eh Adam?" he asked, as the tiger shifter picked himself off the ground. Spencer usually wasn't the one being singled out, because frankly he thought he was damn normal. Apparently, that idea wasn't agreed upon by the Joslyn girls who looked at Adam and Spencer like they were pussies for not liking the rain. At least he had some male support on this one. The rain was just...dirty? Yes, thats a good reason. He raked his mind for a moment, trying to decide on his reasons for not liking the rain. In the end he just came to the conclusion he didn't feel like getting wet unless he had to for like showers and such.

More taunting words were tossed out by Lenny, causing him to look in her direction. He could hear the laughter in her voice as she spoke. Laughing at them! Blue eyes took in her form as she stepped down the porch, instantly the water started working miracles on her clothes. With each drop, they seemed to cling more and more to her body, outlining the curves. "It has it's perks," he said in a low voice for Adam to hear. Surely, the younger male would be just as interested in the sight before them. The taunts had been so far directed at Adam, but hearing his name, brought Spencer back to focus, as his gaze flickered up to her face.

It was a direct challenge to come step out in the rain. He should have known that it would come to this. "So eager to see me wet, Lenny?" he asked, with a tilt of his head. Oh, there was so many other things he could have added onto the sentence to direct at her. For once he kept his mouth shut and he descended a few of the steps. Tilting his head down to keep the rain from getting him in the face, the crown of his head, neck, and shoulders were getting the worst of the rain. After a moment of adjusting to coldness, he looked up at Lenny. A smirk fell on his lips as he took in the sight of her. "Well, this would be a perfect picture, except.." he plucked the hat from her head and tossed it onto the porch, "that is cheating," he comment, watching as her hair became soaked quickly.

Spencer hadn't even noticed Samael's appearance or the fact that Pepper had disappeared inside the house. Hearing his voice, Spencer regarded Samael impassively. His cousin sure knew how to pop in and ruin the moment anytime anyone had fun around the house. "My manhood was at stake. I had to prove a point," Spencer explained, as if that should be a good enough of an excuse for Samael. The leader had already disappeared back into the house, leaving the door open for them. Spencer frowned, letting his gaze drift over the house. He could see his window on the second floor. There were many nights he had climbed out that window to escape from the house or to merely sit on the roof. He frowned at the memory. "Well, after you," he said, gesturing her into the house.

Spencer's response to her challenge brought an instant grin to her face. Lenny was sure that he had more to say but simply hadn't stated it out loud. A hand rested on her hip and she replied to the question with a slightly suggestive tone behind her voice. "No less eager than you are to see me wet, I'm sure." Though she had no problem watching him move down the stairs and out into the rain. He kept his head down but she wasn't watching his face. No, her eyes were trained on the drops going over his bare upper half. It wasn't like it was getting the worst of it but the drops that moved along his neck and trailed down were enough to keep her eyes there. It seemed like forever since the last time she'd seen someone in a state like this. Her eyes moved to his face when he looked up. The look on his face made her raise an eyebrow. Her cheeks reddened slightly as he took the hat off her head and let it fly to the porch. She recovered and grinned. "Cheating? There's a punishment for that, isn't there?" She questioned as her hair went from dry to wet rapidly. Pieces of it clung to her face as she went to flip some back over her shoulder.

Then Samael spoke. Her brown eyes shifted over to him and narrowed as he scolded them for being outside. Because clearly, the porch was a dangerous place. Perhaps it was. But weren't they trying to prevent everyone from being in cages? Yet their solution was to do just that to protect them. It wasn't healthy to stay cooped up like that. While Spencer spoke politely about it, Lenny waited until the leader had turned back in to mumble unhappily. "Someone give him some cat n** to calm his a** down." Her eyes shifted to Spencer as he spoke and gestured to the house. She'd definitely been right that those muscles looked good glistening with rain. Looking back to his eyes, her lips formed a small smile. "Such a gentleman." She commented. She moved up the stairs and picked her hat from the porch to plop back onto her head. Looking over her shoulder, she grinned slightly as she questioned. "It's not cheating anymore is it?" Her hands moved lift her shirt up slightly and wring it out so she wouldn't drip too much on the floors of the house.

Going through the door, she kicked off her shoes and picked them off the floor. Lenina remembered part of what Samael said when he went to fetch the group from outside. Turning around, she spoke to the two feline shifters following her. "Let's get out of here. Didn't mister stick up his a** say that we could go to the restaurant as a group? We'd need to change before he changes his mind but I don't think it'd be too hard." Lenina didn't even wait for their reactions before turning around on her heels and moving down a hall that would lead her to her own room. "Meet me back here." She called back behind her. Her door was hardly closed before she was pulling off the wet clothes she had been wearing. She grabbed the towel she'd used that morning to dry off quickly. Hands grabbed among her things until she had a dry outfit to slide on. It was done quickly and she was soon pulling on rain boots. Her hair was brushed through but she didn't bother drying it. The locks were ruffled some to make them look a little messy. It'd work for the time being. She slid the beret onto her head. A clutch purse was grabbed and things were transferred into it in a rush. Turning to the door, she was headed back toward the door she'd left the other shifters at.
