Clan Name: Tamahome
Village/Organization of Origin: Kumogakure
History: For many generations, the Tamahome clan was a part of Kumogakure. They were considered one of the larger clan's for the village and as a result the clan was intimately involved with many aspects of Kumogakure. One generation before current events, the Raikage attempted to remove all non-lightning users from his village's ANBU program, causing conflict with members of the Tamahome clan. It is believed that the clan leader, Hikari Tamahome, may have caused this aggression when he attempted to usurp the position of Raikage. The majority of the clan was wiped out, but a single branch, consisting of brothers Blandal and Nanashi along with Nanashi's wife and oldest child Heero, who at the time was still an infant, were able to flee the village and took up refuge in the village of Getsugakure.
Since that point the Nanashi and his wife have had many children within Getsugakure in order to regain the former prestige of the clan. During the events of The Great Purge it is believed that all members of the Tamahome Clan with residence in Getsugakure were wiped out by the group Hakumei.

Bloodline Limit: Burning Ash. Members of the clan are born with the ability to control and manipulate dead skin cells as a cloud of burning ashes. This bloodline limit is available to all members of the clan, but many do not spend the time necessary to master the skill.
Clan Specialty: Fire based Taijutsu and Ninjutsu.
Clan Characteristics: All members of the clan have red hair. The majority of the clan is very tightly knit, preferring to work with one another over interacting with members of other clan's.
Clan Trades: Notable member Tamahome Heero ran a weapons and armor shop in the village of Getsugakure.
Clan Traditions: Members of the main branch of the clan who are deemed 'worthy' are bestowed the rank of Guardian. Guardians of the clan are in charge of running the clan are also have access to the deadly Dragon Summoning Contract Scroll.
Clan Locations: The majority of the clan was originally located in Kumogakure. One branch fled to Getsugakure but was wiped out with the exception of one member was was a prisoner in Cannongakure. It is rumored that there are still members of the clan in hiding within Kumogakure and that other branches made attempts to flee the city to other villages.
