So yeah, seems like every time I visit Gaia now I've got at least 10 announcements. All of them usually asking for my money in some roundabout way. Or promoting something I don't care about.

The memory of this being a fun place to hang out seems so far away and distant now...back when the map was just Barton Town and Gambino Island. When the NPC's were just that, and they didn't have any convoluted plot or backstory.

When the AYGGS pissed off children left and right with it's logic problems.

ahh, good times.

SO. In the off chance anyone else hits the thread...how are you?

Myself? I've been working a new job at a warehouse for the past 6 months. It's pretty boring and tedious but the pay and benefits are good. I've also been putting together a series pitch for some comic publishers in my spare time. Shut down "Artist Mode" for a while and started whipping "Writer Mode" into shape.

Planning on taking a trip to NYC in July. I visited a few years ago and have been dying to go back ever since. Just feel in love with it.

I guess that's all I got. Take care, AYGGS

I ran into RSJ somewhere on 4chan last week, but I was in lurking mode.

Don't see much of anyone else from the old days. Lesnick is still Lesnick. McGuire is still McGuire. Not much more needs to be said.

I'm having a nice summer so far. I plan to travel to Boulder Colorado in the early fall. Not going to ComicCon in San Diego this year. I'm so sick of California.

Hope you're having a good time in NYC!

Hubby and I bought our first home, otherwise life is fairly uneventful.

Thinking back to when I first joined AYGGS.... My life has changed a hundred times over since then.

Hey guys,

like I said in the last post, it's been a couple of years. Was surprised I still remembered my password.

Cool to hear about at least a couple of your big life events... I was just looking at when the guild started, and I guess it's almost been 10 years now for most of us. A lot has changed for me too... two houses, new partner... sort of off and on with the conventions... haven't really made art in a long time... did a couple of degrees and I'm a curator now- independent and working for an artist-run centre in Canada.

Don't know when I'll log in again (or if I'll still remember my password), but I like these little updates once a year or so.

All the best guys!
