"Lead the way" Nova motioned. He knew a bit of her background so patrolling and guard duties shouldn't be unknown to her which is why he let her lead.

As they walked he spoke up. " You've made remarkable progress last time. You caught on relatively quick. Perhaps you've always had this aptitude with magic without being aware of it or it is that the Goddess grants you these perks. I however, do not require you to master them all. My current goal is the make your body familiar with the various types of mana so that when the times comes your transition to Light and Holy would be flawless. You've experienced Water Mana. Now we are down to the remaining four. Fire, Wind, Lightning and Earth. I suggest either Wind or Earth because our current location but the choice is up to you."

Hasaii Inazuma

Hasaii closed the door behind Kerana after she entered, then sat on the bed opposite from where she sat. "I only know so much, but part of me also doesn't. But, in the end, I still know what happened." He began. "It was a bright, sunny day, barely any clouds. Coincidentally, it was also my right of passage, or 16th birthday in your species, no offense. " He continued, thinking back to every little detail as to what it looked like back then. "Morning breakfast was a grilled fish over warm coal, side of rice and fruits. Nobody was home at the time but me, so it was a bit of a slow morning. But come noon, thinks picked up really quickly. See, our right of passage consists of three parts; Flying (Hikō), Archive knowledge (Ākaibu no chishiki), and Hunting (Shuryō). The knowledge part was simply our understanding of our past, and is a recital of an old oath, nothing special... Then, flying and hunting were put together in a solo hunt where the Valkyrie must track, kill, and return with an fauna of any sort, but to really prove yourself larger game is often the main attraction." He explained, taking his time to make sure that Kerana wasn't lost. "I was lucky to find a rather large and colorful bird or prey, and after a rather hard fight, brought it down. But upon my return, I was not greeted by warm welcomes and congratulation, oh no." Hasaii's voice grew darker, more sorrow filled. "Flames rose up from homes, bodies lay on the stone paths, and standing among it all were those still fighting. But who they were fighting, well that's the question. It looked like typical human armor, which shouldn't have been a problem, but the weapons they carried were all dark, purple staffs and blades, and they cut through is like nothing." His horrified voice spoke on. He moved his hand over his left sleeve, pulling it back as far as he could, revealing one end of a slash scar. "Had I been stronger, had the elder not broken then line to help me, this wound may not have been all that I physically suffered. And not just that, but another one close died that day, one of who I---" he stopped. "I'ed rather not talk about... But if it helps, whatever this necromancer is, its presence was there that day. That, I can assure you." He concluded, releasing his sleeve and looking down at his feet. "Heh, you may be one of the only people who has heard of this past, what an odd bunch this group is." He chuckled as he gave a fake smile to Kerana. But deep down, maybe he did want to mention who died in his arms 6 years ago...

Trinity nodded it was nice to take the lead again, she smiled a little as he made the suggestion. The best route to take was the perimeter of the place they were staying. Not only would it be good to be familiar with their surroundings but odds are high that people would be hidden on the edges.

She listened to what he said about her remarkable progress. "I really think it's all the goddesses' doing. Before the fight with the necromancer I had no experience in that at all. As for what to try next..." she observed Alec practicing his wind magic and was intrigued by it. "How about wind then?"

"Very well" Nova gave her a small nod and began his explanation." Wind is associated to a calm and carefree mind. A mind that cannot and will not be bound to the problems around it. The wind is free. Can you be free Trinity? Like I said before. It is the state of mind that helps but that does not mean that it is the only way to do so."

Trinity was beginning to think that maybe this was a bad idea. "Y'know I'm not really sure about that. Ever since I've faced the Necromancer and found the profecy I've been on the run, always looking over my shoulder and fighting. I don't really call that freedom. Would you?"

"You're only as free as you make yourself out to be. A man could live in a giant castle with everything he desires and still not feel free. A man could live in a farm with fields and nature as far as the eye can see and still not feel free. A person could be a slave but his mind is his own. In there he is free." Nova stated. It sounded like a philosophy but his words were true." It is you definition of freedom that matters. Have you ever sat down in the forest or on a hilltop for a moment to rest and just enjoy the peacefulness of nature around you? No matter how fleeting that moment was. That too is a form of freedom. But perhaps that is a form of freedom I recognize."

Trinity gave Nova's words some thought. "I suppose being in the shadow realm gives me some peace of mind. Down there I feel safe and know for certain that no one can get to me there. There are times where I find a moment to meditate in the forest. I feel at peace then. Yet... I guess that's more safe and peace than freedom huh?"

"Yes safety does not equal freedom. But surely you must have felt free somewhere in your life." Nova asked.

Trinity thought about it some more. "I suppose training brings me some sort of freedom. I come up with my routines choose what to focus on that day. I suppose... serving as captain of the guard for Lord Saturn." she smiled a little about her time there, "I definitely felt freedom there. He treated me like no one else had up to that point, as an equal. Though he had his Mistress Saturn... I still felt free for she two treated me the same way he did."

"Try to hold on to those feelings. Those memories. Use your Mana while holding on to that and try to create a gentle breeze. A soft weak wind." Nova said and demonstrated by creating a soft breeze that blew past Trinity.

Trinity took a deep breath remembering how she felt. A small breeze swirled around her. She exhaled and the breeze gathered and followed the air she exhaled. "Did that work?"

"Excellent. You do catch on quickly enough." Nova praised her. " Now repeat that a couple of times to get the hang of it. Then try the action alone without associating it with freedom. The correct state of mind is mostly used for beginners. Soon using Wind will come naturally to you."

Hasaii sighed when he heard Kerana say that no known blacksmith could make weapons like that. "I was worried about that... Right back to square one now I guess. Man, how could such a large group just vanish so quickly and perfectly?" He asked himself as he laid back, staring at the ceiling. Most of he leads were not pointless, not that they already weren't. Bur hey, they were better then nothing. Then a thought occurred. "Wait... You said no known smith could make weapons like that, but what about magic? Obviously someone strong, but impossible to tell the origin without having one of the actual blades..." He simply said, simply speaking every thought that came to mind.
