"Kerana, one of my teachers once told me not to let someone hold me back. I understand your concern but do not let it go too far. It is not like you will master this magic right away it could still take weeks for you to fully master it."

"But if you are determined to study something else, then you got three more choices. Lightning, Water and Earth."

The wolf-kin smelled Hasaii's approach, but he had his mind on other matters. Alec knew what Kerana was doing, and it really didn't help matters much. "He's right, Kerana. Don't worry about me. I've got my own skill set."  

[Nova Blancke]

"Make sure to stick with it till the end." Nova said as he took the book." Alec perhaps you could practice Wind magic or go over the theory again. If tonight won't do for you than perhaps you could search the area for herbs or flowers you do not know. Alchemy is one of your strong sides is it not?"

Alec's ears perked up at this. "Ah yes...except...there actually isn't any flora I am completely unfamiliar with." he admitted with an uncomfortable confidence. "In the event I meet a new plant, I talk to it. It's really something, the things plants talk about."

He cleared his throat nervously as the realization that he sounded a bit loony. "So um...yea, I'll do the wind stuff. I still have that stone you gave me, I'll work with that."  

[Nova Blancke]

"If that is the case than you truly are more in tune with nature than I will ever be." Nova praising Alec's ability." A word of advice though. Use the crystal outside. Using it indoors is not a good idea."

Nova replied with a slight nod and smile. " You are correct in a way. It is a power source of it's own. Guide your own mana through it and it will give you control over it's power. Thus the result will be what you wanted it to be only much stronger making it seem like an amplification but it is not. You simply add the Mana of the crystal to it. The more Mana you use the more it draws from the crystal." Nova replied." But you need not worry. Alec will be quite alright I believe."

Alec excused himself and stepped outside. He put a little bit of distance between himself and the house just in case he lost control of what he was going to attempt.

It didn't take him long to stir something up. He figured he would start with the small dirt devil he had conjured up and see how long he could maintain it's size and rotation. It didn't occur to him right away, but something felt very right about this. In the back of his mind Zephyr guided his host in secret. The pup needed to learn confidence. The wolf decided it was time to push Alec in the right direction instead of only observing.

The child looked around as the area surrounding them began to crawl. "Your concerns are unnecessary. The Master has provided for us a means to follow them."

Pieces of dead Valkyrie slithered their way toward Shara and the child, With the necromancer being so far away from them, the reconstruction of the warriors was painfully slow. The child sighed and slid off the horse. "It seems as though this may take a while." it muttered.  

[Nova Blancke]

"It could certainly give him an affinity for it once they are more in tune if you think about it. But I am afraid I haven't around his kind long enough to know enough regarding that subject." Nova replied. " Kerana I think you should try to talk to Hasaii. Maybe ask him a few things about this place. I'm sure you have questions of your own."

Hasaii Inazuma

Hasaii sat there for a minute, listening to the sounds of the forest and the silence of the house. Only an occasional mutter of the conversation downstairs would break through the cracks. He sat in silence, until eventually footsteps made their way to just outside the door into the room. Telling by the light footsteps, he guess Kerana. And he was right, because she asked him something just after approaching the door. He opened his eyes, then looked back at the door. "Yeah, sure. Door's open, come on in." He called out as he stood to greet her. Some interaction with another being would do him some good, sulking wouldn't get him anywhere.

Meanwhile, deep in the forest just lower from the cliff side, the creature the group had met not too long ago was again prowling in the woods, a dark magic calling him out. "Blasted devils, could this be the same as before?" It barked as it ran towards the source.

As Kerana left Trinity looked toward Nova, "Shall we take the first watch then?" She wondered if there was anything he needed to teach her at the moment. The world of magic, there was little she knew of it beyond what she had been able to use over the years.
