ENDLESS JOURNEYS (O/A)

[Nova Blancke]

Nova sat down before her cross-legged. He nodded thoughtfully.

"You could try to mediate on this. But without the choker. Perhaps you can come in contact with her that way. If your mind is clear enough."

Trinity closed her eyes and tried to meditate. She found herself in a time where Hasaii's village was whole. She saw the goddess speaking to her but the words were not heard. It seemed the goddess figured this out and took her by the hand to a temple that had her visage on it. She focused on that place. Her eyes opened quickly. She held her head and said, "I need to go to her temple, or whatever is left of it."

"Well that was....fast." Nova replied briefly out of surprise." But by all means lead the way." Nova gestured.

Trinity nodded, "I guess it goes quicker if the one you're trying to reach out to is right here.. inside you." she touched her chest. Carrying the choker in her hand they approached the remains of the temple. There were a couple of pictures of the goddess. It looked exactly what her meditation revealed. "That's her huh? I look like her when I use that holy energy without the choker right? I can feel some familiarity around here..."

She turned toward Nova. "You think if I use holy here it would do the trick? Is there anything else we need to do?"  

[Nova Blancke]

"I'm not sure. Last time we had to take precautions to make sure you didn't burn up. This place might be familiar to the goddess but that doesn't mean your body can handle it all of the sudden. Just a piece of advice. I fear that's all I can give at the moment. This is currently beyond my scope of knowledge" Nova confessed. " If you feel it is necessary than by all means"

Trinity nodded taking in his advice. "All I know about all of this is that it's unusual for the gods to help mortals directly. I can't help but wonder how am I any different." She took a deep breath remembering what pains she had to endure.

"Well here goes..." first she took off her pants boots, armor and trench cloak and piled it to the side. If she was going to have to bathe in ice cold water again better to quickly do it in just her tunic at least. She took a deep breath. closed her eyes and summoned a small amount of holy energy. She felt the pain starting in her shoulder blades as her wings start to form. Her body started glowing her hair became pale and long. Her clothes disappeared wand was replaced with a white sash.

She floated in front of Nova looking into Nova's eyes with her pale eyes. She seemed to recognize him. "Help me Ancient One." She gestured toward a pool of holy water and images of what happened three years ago appeared in the water. "When the Chosen One fought the Dark One her holy power was sealed and so was her fate. I was sent down to revive her and to ensure that the prophecy is fulfilled. Once that is done I will be released and able to return home." She seemed more stable being there than she was last time.

Nova watched the transformation with the same awe as he did before. He believed in spirits because he knew for a fact that they are real. But gods and goddesses? Not so much. To him they were spirits like the rest, stronger than normal of course.

He watched the events unfold within the water. So that's what really happened.

"Yes, she wasn't ready to face him. I am currently building the foundation for her power. It may take a while but she doesn't need full mastery over the elements. Just the knowledge and a body that can handle it. I will use the time that I have left to teach her what she needs to know." Nova spoke but he did have a question.

"You mentioned that you could leave when the prophecy is fulfilled. What would happen to ....your vessel when you do?"

"It really depends on her will. Part of the reason I was able to bring the Chosen One back was because of the Dark One's actions. It sparked a fire burned with a passion to destroy the one who killed and destroyed everything she loved.

If her will does not have as strong enough passion or no reason to stay. Her mortal life will simply, end."

With that she placed herself in the pool of holy water reverting back to Trinity. He elbows were on the ledge holding her up as she sank down a little in sleep.

Nova didn't like it but it made sense. Having a divine entity leave your body would take a serious toll on your body and if Trinity isn't strong enough, it will kill her.

"Understood." He replied as the goddess reverted. As Trinity sank into the water he stopped her with his Telekinesis. Taking off his robe he wrapped it around her as he pulled her towards him.

"World on your shoulders huh?"

Her eyes slowly opened she found being held in Nova's arms wrapped in his robe. She was wearing her tunic, but it was all wet as well as the lower half of her body. Her eyes looked up to him, "What happened? What did she have to say that was so important?" She asked the important question but the under lying question was Should she know?

"A few answers." Nova replied." She was sent to you after you failed three years ago to help you. When it is all done she will leave you. She showed me what happened. As long as you stay strong,you will win."

Trinity's eyes narrowed and glowed a little in thought. "I suppose that makes sense, in some ways... The first time I used holy... it felt natural. That I couldn't just let him win while everyone else lost so much. I felt... so strongly about it, it just came out. I suppose that was when he felt threatened... and I fell... now...it seems like such a struggle to bring out enough to do something with." this was a lot to take in. She knew she failed 3 years ago but had no idea just how badly, even the gods want to ensure that fulfills the prophecy. She'd gladly do it no questions asked but after that what next?

"Regain your strength for now. If they send a goddess to help you then I sent myself to fine-tune you. I will make you stronger than you have ever been." Nova replied.

"Now let's get you out of those wet clothes shall we? Last thing I want is you getting ill."

Trinity simply nodded in agreement. She felt a chill but it was soothing her body didn't heat up as it did before. Probably because she was in holy water as she was shifting back. She closed her eyes as Nova carried her to the others.

The rest of Trinity's gear floated after them. He looked around as he made his way back to the group. Nova remembered vaguely how the village was built. But memories of this place before that time overshadowed his memory of it. Never the less, this place remained beautiful even in its decay.

"The Well shouldn't be far from here. I just hope I will last long enough to make it back to my them." Nova spoke softly as if not to jinx it. He did not believe in superstition but you couldn't be too careful these days.
