Nova nodded at the story. But he had already found a loophole.

" Necromancy of the highest level, like Shara. Revive a Valkyrie and remove the stone. Do this with someone who can travel through magic such as Shadow or as simple as Wind and you could get away." Nova thought out loud. It didn't take him long to realize he was doing so.

"Forgive me Guardian but how fast can you fly? If they left by using Wind and you detected them, it might have been too hard for them to escape you. If you were fast enough. If you were then that would leave us with Shadow Magic. Or some sort of hidden passage way."

Hasaii Inazuma

The wolf shook its head to Nova's. "Whatever it was, it slipped by me completely undetected. I feel dark powers the strongest, so whatever magic that person was using was far beyond elite. We're talking shaman class, or as you humans would refer to it..." "Some sort of high ranking necromancer." Hasaii finished as both he and the wolf stopped. Before them lay a medium sized stone that was as red as blood but no bigger then Nova's ego one of their heads and had a hole in the middle. It was triangular shaped, and slightly bent to one side as if it had been tipped over. "This is it, the blood-stone. I cant track anything on it, so maybe could one of you try? Just be careful not to touch it." Kaj asked, staring at Trinity and Nova.

Trinity looked to the ground to see if she could find any tracks. She wasn't finding any she turned to Alec. "Hey Alec can you pick up any sent?"  

[Nova Blancke]

Nova raised his hands a bit. " I am afraid I am not much of a tracker when it comes to normal means. I am also not sure of what would happen if I were to use magic on the stone. So for the moment I shall refrain from doing so"

Alec snapped to attention at the sound of his name. "Oh-uh...yea. I'll give it a try." He trotted up to the stone, not entirely sure what it is he should be looking-

His nose twitched and his eyes lit up suddenly. He dropped to his hands and knees, sniffing the ground for the scent that got his attention. Once he found it he started follwing it until he found some chest high shrubs. The scent was strongest here, though slightly faint as well. It smelled old, rotten.

Then he saw it. He reached his hand underneath the shrub and pulled out several large feathers. He stood and.held them up for the group to see. "These came off something that was already dead."

Trinity gave an approving smile at Alec's findings. "Good work Alec." She turned toward the Valkyrie. "Hasaii, can you tell if these feathers are that of a Valkyrie's?"

Hasaii Inazuma

Hasaii tensed when Alec found something. And sure enough, what he pulled out was indeed something that Hasaii hoped not to find. He nodded to Trinity's question. "Yeah, that would indeed be one of ours... And telling by the size, it looks like a higher class member of the clan..." He explained. "We should go." He simply said as he turned away from the group, hiding his sadness.

For some reason, Trinity felt a sudden sadness as Hasaii confirmed that it was one of his peoples. She followed him shortly after hiding her tears. Why do I feel such sadness all of the sudden?... Or do I? She remembered the other night when she learned that she shifted into the Valkyrie Moon Goddess of purity. Could that be it? I didn't think the gods would feel for mortal subjects....

"I have to say that I do not know." Nova replied. This was not completely true. He suspected it might have something to do with her being a Valkyerian Goddess.

Hasaii Inazuma

Further ahead from the stone was a rather odd looking pack of trees closely bundled together. Hasaii stopped in front of them, then sighed deeply. "This is where I see you all off. I shall return to my normal duties." Kaj said to the group, before nodding then leaping away back to the route form which they had come. Hasaii never broke sight with the bundled leaves that covered the path ahead. Slowly moving forwards, as if he was being held back by a thousand chains, he brushed aside the leaves, revealing the remnants of the destroyed village he once called home. Skeletons covered with flora littered the now grassy stone paths, broken wooden huts being reclaimed by the forest. As he slowly moved in, he could feel tears form as he walked past the dead and the ruined. Old memories resurfaced, and played before him as if they were just happening again. One that stood out was him holding one who he loved, one of who he could not remember. He could feel the tears role down his cheeks as he kept walking, but made sure that none of the others could see. More memories flashed, more pain and sorrow. He walked down the path until he reached an old wooden home, his home. Out of all the ruins, this one had somehow remained untouched. "Home sweet home... What a joke..." He depressingly muttered to himself as he approached the door. He quickly wiped off the tears from his face, then turned to face the group. "We shall stay here for the night... Feel free to make yourselves comfortable. I'll be... Out back." He said as he walked around back to where a small stream ran and a range of different plants grew.

With her eyes red with tears she turned to Nova after Kerana and Alec were inside. "I need to talk to you... These feelings..." She rubbed her head. She remembered what it felt like to return to her home that was left in ruin. But this felt ten times worse because it was the last of their kind.

Nova looked around as he walked. Despite the grim atmosphere around them he felt at peace. There was a certain comfort for him here. If there is one thing he learned during all of his lives was that death always comes and that in the end nature takes everything back. This place would soon be but a speck on a page of history. He was surprised he didn't have any resurfacing memories but perhaps his soul couldn't recognize the overgrown environment.

As Trinity took his attention he spotter her red eyes. So my hunch was correct. Nova nodded and placed a hand on her back to guide her to a more remote place in the extinct village.

"It pains you doesn't it?"

She leaned against the wall and sat down, looking down. Trinity didn't like people seeing her like this she always thought it made her look weak.

"Yes, it does. It feels 10 times worse then when I saw the destruction of my home town. I get this feeling that my race is going extinct but I know that's not true. I'm not a Valkyrie I'm just an elf.

There's something else...it feels like there's something important she needs to say but I can't quite understand it all.

My head just aches with all these emotions and riddles." she looked back up to Nova uncertain what to do about all of this.
