Rayman Legends is the ******** BOMB and I haven't even really played a Rayman game much before it. I don't have any attachment to the characters but it's just ******** great platforming. Definitely play with a friend whenever you can.

Is it weird to say I like the battle mode for Mario Kart 8? I tried it for the first time today and I got say its fun just drive around the maps. Like I was seating there wondering if I stop on the air jet bubbles in Dry Dry Desert, which lead to me seating on the air jet for 1 min launching shells at people. Yoshi Valley was also fun. The two thing I didn't like was the long tracks like Mario Circuit and Toad Turnpike and not have the map be useful since I'm using the Wii mote. I think everybody should give it a try.

I just find it strange that they didn't put ANY "stage" battle courses in the game and just repurposed already existing tracks. Since they started adding tracks from previous games, all games have had classic battle mode tracks. Granted, they might be running low on them, I don't think people would mind a couple repeats.

Still kinda hoping for some DLC somewhere down the line, but I'm not sure if we'll get it.

I would definitely pay for DLC for this game if it added extra tracks. Even if it's a practice i'm usually against in video games, this one is begging for extra content.

Right? 32 tracks, tons of karts, bikes and characters and we'd pay for more. If Nintendo doesn't capitalize on its rabid fanbase it is foolish.

Hm... I dunno about Smash. They'd have to make single-player content, not characters, in order to make it fair for the tournament community.

Who gives a frick about tourney player, anyhow? If they moan and complain about it it won't really matter. it'll just be added to the already huge list of things they'll ban or make rules about.

It'd be neat if they did free updates for Smash Bros, though, to keep people's interest in it up. You don't really see that in console games. I wouldn't really want to pay for cosmetic stuff, and DLC stages and characters present certain hurdles and bullshit factor for playing with other people in general, not just for "Tourney friendly" gameplay.

This should probably be in the smash bros thread. I guess I'll copy this exchange into a post there, where it can be discussed AT LENGTH.

Man, my snes finally came in the mail but it was damaged in shipping because the seller did use enough bubble wrap. But at least it still works. Also I still can't play Killer Instinct for a can of beans.

Yeah they'll just ban the character customizations, Miis and probably some DLC characters anyway.

You shouldn't use painkillers, cough medicine if you can avoid it because they're not a good long-term option. They can damage your liver.
