Ambre was silent for a second, but then his surprise was waved away. "Hmph," he said as he turned to his own sorting, "That'll do."
"Dear Almighty, Madeleine, your curiosity knows no bounds!" Narco replied with a light chuckle, "But Ambre, if that's the sort you're into child, I suggest you think twice. Oh, Ambre is a fine young man, but well... He was born into riches. He was spoiled rotten, to be sure. After his parents disappeared, he was recruited by the Order. Many close recruits were orphaned at one point or another. But Ambre demanded the same luxuries. He inherited all the money. He's not just a file-sorter, you know. He's also a government official of Torusa. Don't ask me how he does both at the same time, but he does well."
Narco's eyes flashed a bit mischievously. "Peng and Ambre used to be partners. There was rumor for a long time that it was Ambre's fault Peng was murdered by that mob... But the accusations died down over time. There's no proof to confirm either way. Though it has been known that Ambre is jealous of Peng for several reasons. Including Peng's popularity with the Order and everyone knows he's Nero's favorite. Ambre's strange and mysterious power is highly valued... But also closely surveyed. Ambre can be quite terrifying at times. The sentence that best describes him is 'Do what I want, or you will not like the alternative.' As for Peng who has always said everything he does is 'Just business,' they made quite a good team for a while."

Narco looked at her with a wise, knowing smile. A gleam in his eye. "Ah, so you do understand." Narco stood from his chair. "Instability. That is something the Order tries to maintain... Every day." Narco bowed his head. "Its only knowledge to the deeper ranks of the Order, but I trust you, Madeleine. Something I don't do with people often, so I hope that you won't let me down."
Narco raised his head once more. "The way of the Order... You are aware that many creatures have different abilities. Peng's race have powers very similar to ghosts, and in fact often become ghosts after death. Leon's power is shape-shifting. These powers often, if not always, follow their bloodlines... Except for one exception. Humans."
He looked at Madeleine with a light smile. "Humans have something extra in their brain. A sort of clean slate. They have the capacity to develop powers even without the aid of bloodline. This is because they have something no other humanoid, or animal race has... It doesn't have a name, so call it what you wish. This 'thing' they... YOU have, is also a sort of illusion power. Except that if it is believed by enough humans, that illusion becomes permanent. It becomes real."
Narco turned and picked up his tea. "Of course... This is a dangerous power. And humans cannot control it. Their subconscious is where it resides. Their love, their fear. Their hatred... It develops demons and devils and GODS even. In Torusa, there is a population of almost the entire human population. They are nearly kept there unaware of the magic and other races in the world. I'll explain why..."
Narco took a sip of his tea. "Imagine you found out that the flying pig you imagined becomes real because you truly believe it exists. Now knowing this, could you stop yourself from creating more creatures? BIGGER creatures? A creature to do laundry for you, one to beat up bullies or annoying coworkers. It would take training and discipline as well as others to back up this illusion... But then it is as simple as making up your own world. This is something that, theoretically, made much of what the Order is possible. As well as everything evil in this world. Humans are the most unstable creatures in this entire world. Leon is human, and you are as well, isn't that right?"

Benevolent Rose Jeremy looked down at Clara and put his hand on her head. "Blue jar?... I don't understand- Oh, no see?" He pulled out the porcelain piece. Grodin's eyes went wide. "White porcelain box." He put the shard back in his pocket. "That box..." Grodin whispered, "That's a centaur tribe box! That isn't my... But then if my minotaur jar wasn't broken, who would trap their-... C-could Rochelle have..." He put his hands to his heart. "Could she be waiting for me back home? Oh, my lovely Rochelle... I must find a way back to her." "Everything is your forest~" Erin replied, tapping Cappy's nose with her finger. "IT is the fact, plants adapt, but is in all one with itself~" Ash looked at the two, and when one tried to go after Ash, she pulled out a cane and hit him at the back of the neck, causing a fight with the second. Gina saw Clone running back, and she opened the door. "I predicted you would come back, we're in danger?" She asked. Hypatia tried Isamu's office first. "Nothing. Jeez, she must be out cleaning somewhere... I bet... The library." Hypatia began leading him to the library.
Clara frowned, her eyebrows furrowing. But the bull said a blue porcelain jar. She looked to Grodin, noticing his reaction. She looked back to Jeremy, taking a deep breath.
"Bull...wants to find...Rochelle." She said to him, still holding onto his lab coat. It was rare for her to speak a proper sentence, but this seemed pretty important! She was mumbling a bit, however.
"Rochelle? Who's that?" Doug asked, not quite understanding what was going on.
Cappy scowled, waving Erin's hand away when she tapped her nose.
"I want the forest I live in!" She said, growing irritated. She didn't get how...calm, this plant woman was. Did she not understand what it was like to be pulled from one's own home?
"Where is the yellow-haired human?" She then asked, referring to Jeremy. It was him who decided to bring her here! Now she wanted to be sent back.
Clone closed the door behind her quickly, leaning against it.
"Ah-- yes! Two men in suits approached us and Ash told me to run." She explained, sounding out of breath.
"What're we going to do?" She then asked her, trying not to panic.
Necro followed after Hypatia, still rather confused as to why they'd be looking for a Janitor.
"Uh, why again are we looking for the Janitor? They just clean." He said to her, displeased that it was taking so long for him to get enrolled. He wanted to learn already!

Narco chuckled and put a hand on Lizz's shoulder. "Since the day I took you in I had a feeling about you. You've grown to such a fine young lady."
He let go of her shoulder and took anther sip of tea. "But yes, you are human. As such, you have the capability to become one of the strongest creatures known to reality. Now, imagine that you were taken as a host to a creature made out of anger and vengeance. Imagine that, since you were young, a creature lurked into your subconscious, TELLING you things, until you couldn't even tell the difference between your thoughts and theirs. That thing has access to a human's illusion power. With it, it could take over any other creature. Not very many humans reside in Curtesia. The ones that do tend to be those comfortable with their power. Those that either don't care to delve into that illusion component or don't know how. So if one that CAN, let's say, change shape... Already has what is needed to hone their skills to more powerful masses... HUMANS are who the Order watches closest of all... And Leon is in great danger. Madeleine, you might have to be the one to save him."
"Rochelle... AH, I get it now." Jeremy hit his fist into his palm. "Yes, the curse belongs to a centaur. Likely, it involves a connection with a minotaur. Makes sense, since those two races fought themselves to extinction."
'Extinction?' Grodin whispered.
"So, we must succeed in the wish of the centaur if we're to get rid of the minotaur spirit haunting Clara. Doug, as her father, I trust you would like to tag along? But if you do, I MUST ask if you could please listen to me during the journey. Any wrong moves COULD lead to certain doom." He explained somewhat eerily matter-of-factly.
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm," Erin replied, and then spread her arms. "Everywhere." A vine came from under Cappy and they shot up to the infirmary window. "Also here," Erin replied, pointing in the window.
"The Order... OH no, Ash! I have to-we have to... Clone, lift the floor in the kitchen. There's a hidden storage space there. Hide in there while I make a call." Gina ran over to her phone and called a number. "Danny? Hello! Good to hear from you too! But lis- no listen, The Order has Clayton... Hello? Hel-"
The door busted open and one guy was left. He was bloodied, but looked right at Gina. "Where's that girl?"
"Hm? Oh, you mean THIS girl?" Gina turned around and, just like that, she looked exactly like Clone. "Haha, I had you fooled, didn't I?" Gina asked in Clone's voice. Just like that, the man took Gina and put a cloth over her mouth, and she passed out. The man dragged her away and nearly disappeared completely.
Clone, presumably out of sight now, was left in the house in silence. The only person Clone would know who also knew Clayton was Luca, but would she be able to think to go there? ((Hint hint nudge nudge))
"Hmmmm, WHY I wonder? Would a janitor, a cowardly one at that, be the mediator for those with powers of the undead? Well," She chuckled to him, opening the library door, "See for yourself."
Isamu vaccumed the floor absent-mindedly, until the cord went too far and unplugged. The fiery-headed janitor sighed and set down the toothpick in their mouth. They phased through a bunch of rows of books and plugged the vaccum back in on the other side. Then she phased back, picking up where she left off.
"She is the only undead staff member in the whole academy," Hypatia explained.
