Peng didn't appreciate the advice. Besides, she had no idea what his mission was.

He was sent there to investigate and eradicate a dark power. If he was honest from the start... 'I'm sent here to kill someone you care about before he destroys the world' would not have done well with Lizz. Even if it did, Conner and everyone else were very against the Order. If they knew Peng was a part of that they wouldn't have let him into the bar. If he told Lizz and for her to keep it quiet, Lizz could have been fired for not telling them once they found out. And the guilt that would put on Lizz should he have succeeded in his mission...

It was best to have not put that danger onto her.

As for Leon, Peng didn't know anything about the situation. Honestly, Peng still wasn't sure. But as he was sure keeping it a secret from Lizz was the best choice, he was positive that the Order had a reason for keeping it secret from Leon.

Madeline was right, we wouldn't be in this mess... But Peng was positive the mess would have been much worse otherwise.

As for Narco, he was passed out at his desk, sleeping with a cup of tea in front of him.

Ambre looked over at Leon, then chuckled, giving the boy a superior smile. "Either what I've heard about you is all wrong or I am a much better beast-tamer than I thought. Very well, let us begin with collecting and arranging today's volunteer files." Ambre took Leon to another section where there were tons of boxes. And boxes. And boxes filled with files filled with forms.

Madeleine sighed and closed the door hard, "remind me again why they haven't put you out to pasture?" she said not in the mood really to deal with anything or anyone at this point. She grabbed the journal she had been giving and wrote a few things down quickly.

Leon was in awe of the boxes. There were a lot. He slowly approached them, not sure of what to do. This would take forever, but he wasn't going to complain. "Do you enjoy this?" he asked hesitantly, taking a box and putting on a desk after removing the lid.

Ambre took a few boxes and opened them all, and they were in a row. "I used to be a sword like Peng, but that b*****d ghost got me fired. This job is fine, though. There's a lot of dirt in these files. So thats fun to read. The volunteer files are more mundane, but the higher level files are where things get interesting..."

Files from each box rose into the sky, and pages flipped randomly, going from one box to another, and a few in a pile. In a matter of seconds, they were all organized, and Ambre labeled the boxes.

"WHUDJIT-" Narco jumped up from the slam, and he placed a hand on his heart. "Don't you know not to startle an old man?" He asked Lizz, yawning. "As for your question... I suppose its because I'm stubborn."

((Madeleine not Lizz))

Madeleine rolled her eyes, "I have a serious question though...i know certain jobs in the Order prevent them from having families and such.........what about our job?" she asked leaning against his desk beside him.

Leon's mind was blown. "how... how did you do that? That was really impressive." He said honestly. Tyler never knew he could do things with his mind. It also intimidaed him a little. Tyler guessed why He was a sword at one point.

((Whoops. >.<; ))

Narco's eyebrows raised, and he smirked. "Why Madeleine, I'm flattered. I never knew you felt that way." He was only jesting of course. "If you were that interested in me, you could have just gone out and said it. I may not be in my prime anymore but I could always-" he purposely stopped there to give Madeleine a chance to interrupt him.

Ambre chuckled, feeling the praise in his chest and standing in a regal pose. "It is a rare gift I possess indeed. For me, it is as simple as changing forms is for you. My power was out-of-control when I was younger, but that power has since increased and is even more powerful than I care to reveal. Lifting and sorting things isn't all I can do, mind you. I'm very serious when I say that you would not like the alternative." To show off a little, Ambre began drawing in chalk a symbol on the table. He put his hand on it, and as he raised it, a small creature came up, as if being risen from the table. The symbol disappeared and the small red horned creature turned toward Ambre and bowed to him. "How may I serve my master?" He asked.

'Interesting,' the voice inside Leon said, 'That creature is a devil. Those creatures are impossible to control...'

Leon was impressed. "Wow. I understand why you were a sword now. I'm impressed." He raised his eyebrow as the chalk started drawing. The small creature was... interesting. "What... is that?" He asked curious. He leaned closer for a slightly better look. "Master?" he asked Ambre, a little skeptical.

"I can twist darkness to my whim," Ambre explained. The devil hissed at Leon and started a ball of fire to throw at him.

"Cease, this boy is my pupil!" Ambre demanded, and the devil flinched and put it away.

"Master, I apologize," it said, and Ambre knocked it off to the wall.

"Out of my sight, you made me raise my voice," Ambre hissed, and the devil, shamed and hurt, was gone. Ambre pinched the bridge of his nose. "Dirty rotten creatures, dark beings. Those shadows and whispers, Leon... They are never good-hearted. They must either be controlled or destroyed. Otherwise... Chaos."

'Look at how he treats those he doesn't understand, Leon. This man is a monster. Like all of them. Everyone from the Order become like this. They want to eradicate what doesn't think like them. They want a utopia. You are the only one that can destroy them. And you must, if you ever want to be with your family ever again.'

Grodin looked at Clara, and he looked a little uncomfortable in telling her... Or shy. "My wish was... To be able to tell her I loved her one more time. And my soul would not rest until it did... But now she's deceased. And I may never see her again... All because I put that wish in that blue porcelain jar." Grodin didn't seem to know that his soul wasn't awakened by his porcelain wish, but Rochelle's. A white porcelain chest. Not a blue porcelain jar.

"Let me do some research on it. In the library. I think if we can find an origin of nightmare demons, then we may find a loophole. But... First, let me deal with this curse. I'll need to be sent to Ackrland, and then I will call you. When I get back, I'll read some."

Jeremy looked over at Doug. "Now Doug. Would you like to come with us to Ackrland? I'm afraid this curse won't lift until we fulfill the ghost's wishes. I'll have to take Clara with us."

Hypatia tried Isamu's office first. "Nothing. Jeez, she must be out cleaning somewhere... I bet... The library." Hypatia began leading him to the library.

"North 1048 and West 492. Curtesia, the Academy of warriors." Erin replied, smiling gently to Cappy.

"I can't be positive," Ash told Clone, "Not when the Order has a hold of-..." They were cut off by a couple people wearing the Order insignia on their suits.

"I must ask you to come with me," One of them said, offering a hand.

Ash's eyes lowered. "I'm sorry officers, I don't think I understand what you're asking about. Run Clone, back to my place. Hurry."

Jar...?” Clara blinked. But Jeremy had a white box, not a blue jar. Grodin had shown himself to her after she got a piece of it too. Maybe Rochelle had a wish too...? She held up a finger as a signal for him to wait a moment again, and walked up to Jeremy after he had spoken with her father.

Ah- of course. I wanna make sure my daughter won't be harmed.” He said, nodding, he noticed Clara go up to James.

Blue jar?” Clara asked him, tugging his arm a bit. Maybe Jeremy had a blue jar? Would she even know what she was talking about?

Doug looked puzzled. Blue jar? What was she talking about?

Cappy blinked, Curtesia...? Wasn't that another piece seperate from the one she lived on? She hardly knew anything about other places, but would occasionally hear things from humans that would wander into her forest before she drove them out. Her forest...

I want my forest...” She mumbled angrily, feeling rather tense on unfamiliar land. Let alone land bred by humans. She held herself, shifting uncomfortably.

Clone saw the men approaching and stepped back, noticing Ash's reaction to them. Where they a part of the people who attacked her and Clayton as well...? The Order? She gave a gasp at Ash's command. But what about her? What if she gets hurt like Clayton?

Ah-- o-okay! Be careful!” She said to her, knowing that even if she tried to stay she'd make her run anyway. She took a deep breath and began to ran, hoping that Ash would be alright.

"Wow." Was all he said, impressed with ambre. He figured that was barely an example of his power. He knew in a fight he could summon much better things. The voice in his head concerned him.
I understand. But... I'm just a shapeshifter. There isn't much I can do. I'm young and weak, I can't even hurt peng if I tried. He countered internally, though he would try his best to save his parents.

Madeleine made gagging noises, "there is no way in heaven hell or whereever that would even cross into existane. I'm being serious I really want to know, and the truth" she said staring at him. Usually a joke like that would get her to drop the subject, but this was something close to her heart and mind.

Jeremy looked down at Clara and put his hand on her head. "Blue jar?... I don't understand- Oh, no see?" He pulled out the porcelain piece.

Grodin's eyes went wide.

"White porcelain box." He put the shard back in his pocket.

"That box..." Grodin whispered, "That's a centaur tribe box! That isn't my... But then if my minotaur jar wasn't broken, who would trap their-... C-could Rochelle have..." He put his hands to his heart. "Could she be waiting for me back home? Oh, my lovely Rochelle... I must find a way back to her."

"Everything is your forest~" Erin replied, tapping Cappy's nose with her finger. "IT is the fact, plants adapt, but is in all one with itself~"

Ash looked at the two, and when one tried to go after Ash, she pulled out a cane and hit him at the back of the neck, causing a fight with the second.

Gina saw Clone running back, and she opened the door. "I predicted you would come back, we're in danger?" She asked.

'I am with you, Leon. As long as you have me, you have the strength to defeat them all. But we must start with Ambre, tonight, once we've gathered our help.'

Ambre went back to sorting. "Hop to it, boy, you've no idea how this work stacks if you let it for even a second."

Narco's eyes softened. He was aware she'd normally drop the subject. He counted on that. Now that she didn't... "Let me first be clear in telling you, young lady, that I chose this path. I knew full well what I was getting into. But that isn't the case for everyone. Nero, for example... He never wanted this path. Peng... He only half-wanted it. But my intentions to be here were completely my decision."

Tonight?? Leon thought nervously. Now that the time was approaching, he was a little nervous. But, that meant he would be with his family sooner. He nodded at Ambre and began to sort the boxes the best he could, though he was considerably slower. Still, he trudged along, still thinking about who the help could possibly be. Do I know the help?

"Hey!" Ambre shouted, cutting off the voice in Leon's mind. "You're a shifter, aren't you? There must be a way for you to pick up the pace. Can't you turn into a squid or something?"

The voice chuckled. 'Now is a good time to show you the skill you possess now that we are one. Leon, summon a squid form, but only the tentacles. Focus on the tentacles.'
