George shrugged shrugged at the idea that a tall person was less suspicious than a ladder, it was true, but part of the fun of pranking was the danger of getting caught. "Bye Chloe!" George shouted out as Chloe walked away. George thought for a while, then decided that it was better if he went to look for his twin. "Well, it was nice meeting you Vladimir, I'm going to go find my twin now." George said as he marched off to go find Fred. Now if I was an idiotic brother, where would I be? George thought. He didn't usually think of Fred that way, but since Fred had been gone for so long, well, George started thinking of Fred as being an idiot.

Hermione sat a bit nervously, but still very excited to be back. She couldn't wait to learn more and expand her magical knowledge, but there was something wrong. Something was not right. She shook the thought out of her head and carried on eating her meal, concentrating on the amazing tastes which exploded in her mouth. She took a glance down the table to see the new first years and thought that some of them looked quite promising. She would have to learn some of their names. When she was quite full, she got up from the table and, eager to learn, headed back to the Gryffindor common room.

As Minerva sat at the staff table, she looked at the new Gryffindors. She hoped that some of them would excel, especially in Transfigurations. But every year she still had to teach - she couldn't bear to say it - Slytherins. 'Ahhh well,' she thought, and ate her meal silently, only occasionally speaking to the other members of staff on either side of her.

Holly sat with a straight back as she ate her meal. She had waited so long for this day; she loved Hogwarts so much! She had on her plate a huge pile of roast potatoes and some mint humbugs, which were strangely included in the feast. She had dumped a load of gravy on the whole lot. Mint humbugs and gravy were surprisingly nice when eaten together! When she had stuffed her face, she exited the hall for the common room, bumping into Hermione in her haste.

I gotta say that the RP isn't going to go very far unless we establish purpose or reason for us to be here.

Like is there a bad guy we all need to unite against? A mission or some sort of objective we need to complete?

Or even do we have classes that we need to attend lead by actual teachers.

I mean even though the Characters from the original books are here, it's kinda not going to work if you expect every OC to somehow be involved in the original story. That would be like having a hundred people going after the Philosopher's stone all at once.

I think we need to establish objective first so that we can form a sort of structure that will then lead to character development.

That's just my two cents tho. smile

((One idea I have is to maybe have the school invaded by death eaters. It would set people out on sides, stimulate rivalry allow us to develop personalities.))
