Noting the fact that this boy didn't respond, she rolled her eyes, bade him farewell quickly, and swam back up to the surface of the water. She made skillful swimming movements through the water, her legs working as one unit, almost like a fin. When she'd hit the surface of the water, she yanked the breathing device off of her face and took in a deep, large swell of air. "Oh, that's so much better..."She noted quietly to herself. She started to slowly half-float, half-swim to the edge of the water, near the beach where her home was. Most people who lived in Adlas lived underwater. There were a few hotels for tourists, and even fewer homes for residents. Her's was one of them. It was small, homey, and quiet. Though it had many lights and seemed to be alight at all hours of the night. Solstice didn't sleep a whole lot. She'd rather work, and learn. So with the specimens still fresh in her mind, she went home, mentally tracing the lines in her head. She dried off, wrapped her hair up in a towel, and started to sketch. When a drop of water landed on the piece of paper she was working on, a drip from her nose, actually, she grabbed a hair dryer, and dried the drop, leaving a faint, but un-smudged watermark. Good, no harm no foul.
