[Shinsua]

The Cloud academy is well known for having much of its personal jutsu's stored in perfect condition. It turns out many new genin each year and has never failed in preparing its students.
The compound is made up of 3 buildings that are all made of white marble and silver. Clouds are etched in the stone to remind the students that being a Cloud nin requires one to be able of mind and body, calm but capable of great violence.

Many of the previous students come here to practice or to revisit old memories.

Entering into the grand dojo that he was told would be his place of training. It felt great to be surrounded by such elegance and strength. The young Hatake was worried about his younger brother, but had no way of actually locating him "Im' sure he's just blowing off steam..." or so Len hoped.

Whipping out one of the scrolls the young Hatake would be able to train on his Clan Jutsu with the Kage's prior permission. Hopefully he would become a asset to his nation under that teacher. Reading what needed to be done, and the seals he needed to make, Len got himself ready. Len began training the first techniques of his clan. First it was the "Raiton: Shiroi Yaiba (Lightning Release: White Blade), then the Raiton: Shiroi Yari (Lightning Release: White Spear). [1/4 after reductions for both techniques]

He would practice both, for within this dojo to him it was sacred ground. Len took a deep breath thinking about his charka and converting with physical will, and his clans blood running through his veins. The electricity within the room was being built up. He was forming one hand sign after the other while drawing his Katana, White Sky. Len finished with the Raiton conversion. [2/4 after reductions for both techniques]

This was causing him to try a bit harder, understanding breaking down jutsu was now easy feat. Even if he had a clear method to follow the fact he was a Genin was still apparent. However things were becoming steadily more clear as a snow white chakra engulfed his blade. The raiton caused such a lovely sound when mixed with the heavenly metal of the blade. The young Hatake, took this time to run and cleave some training blocks with his new raiton enhanced blade. [3/4 after reductions for both techniques]

The shimmering edge of his blade was an improvement over the last version. Though Len admitted when he used it felt like a much stronger technique that it should have been. As if it's own rank increased just because he was using it. Keeping his mind focused he stopped to review over the other technique's scroll. It would easier to do this version since it did not need to coat the entire blade. With a snap of his wrist as he spun around and slashed downward a bolt of white raiton nature chakra blew apart the remaining bricks he was training on "Excellent... I shall report back to her immediately" with that he thanked the might academy for teaching him thoroughly. [4/4 after reductions for both techniques. Learned Both, also exited.]

Banteki Hitori (はたけカカシ)
Genin - Bukijutsu Class - Kumogakure no Sato


X X XFootsteps within the dojo seemed to break the silence. Hitori moved into perspective within the doorway of the dojo. The area was wide and appeared vacant. Hitori seemed overjoyed that he would be able to train alone. He knew he would need concentration to fulfill the Raikages wishes. Hitori moved to the center of the dojo while pulling the scroll from his waist. He then sat with both legs crossed and the scroll placed on the ground in front of him. Unraveling the scroll, Hitori began reading up on the Shigure Soen style. For moments he scanned the page, reading each line quickly in order to start his training.

X X X"Tch... to easy!" Hitori stood wiping his pants as if dust had been on them. "Alright then.." His gray hues peered forward while his right hand lifted to grab the handle of his katana that was placed vertically upon his back. Slowly he unsheathed his blade to show its fine steel that seemed reminiscent in the rather dull dojo. Hitori noted the Shigure Soen style was created with the use of suiton element chakra. It was obvious to him that he had an affinity for wind element chakra; Standing still Hitori had reached a stage of pure concentration. Griping his katana he pulled it farther from the sheathe until the blade tip had shown and Hitori pulled the katana in front of him almost masterfully.

X X XThe young shinobi was but a lowly Vagabond in the art of swordsmanship. He knew he would one day be great, if he put his mind to it at least. A glimmer of light moved past his katana and without hesitation Hitori moved forward will his right hand clenching the handle of his blade. He gave a swift vertical slash into a horizontal slash, Hitori seemed to move as a novice would but his instincts lead him to continue on. He read that a strong will would not make the style great, but the instincts carried by the swordsman. Hitori quickly assumed his stance with his blade pointed outward while his right hand grasped the handle; he took a single breath before lunging forward with a display of slashes that seemed to drain Hitoris stamina.

X X XHis eyes were focused yet a bead of sweat dripped from his face. "Can't stop now.. Hagane!" Hitoris orbs showed focus, something he was known for. The silence within the dojo seemed unbroken, even with the swift movements Hitori made. Without hesitation Hitori chose to feint to the left with one swift movement of the feet. When he gained his center of balance he dashed forward with his katana in-hand. "Hmph!" Hitoris facial expression turned serious while his right arm straightened to thrust his katana outward finishing the technique; "Shajiku No Ame.." Hitori stood straight up, pulling his right arm to his side the tip of his katana hit wooden dojo floor with a thud.

X X XHitori wiped his forehead with his left hand to get the sweat off. It seemed that he had little stamina but he was young after all. Being at his current rank, the young shinobi couldn't do anything but train to gain more endurance and stamina for battle. He gazed forward while tightening his grip on the handle of his katana. "I will be a great swordsman.." With this said Hitori assumed his battle ready stance. He was an overall offensive fighter, using his katana to his advantage in battle would play well with his composed style. A swift swing of the blade moved through the air and Hitori continued on with another slash into a sword thrust that was done flawlessly.

XXXXXKnight enters the dojo, removing his shinobi shoes, before stepping on the actual floors of the dojo. It was now time to work if anything, yet Knight had no clue of what he would be learning from his brother.

en walked into the training facility with his classic mask covering his face. Those piercing yellow eyes like a wild canine were locked on his brother, Knight. Going to the appropriate training location, he smiled beneath it. For he was now allowed to catch his brother up in their family art. Hatake Len, felt it was his responsibility to watch over his brother, that much was for sure.

Len was in his training garb now, and spoke to his brother "First off,follow my lead then hand signs..." Len instructed as he slowly formed the hand signs for his brother to follow, slowly because of his training Len would no doubt be faster at hand signs than his brother. Each symbol was crafted as he drew his Katana. Len pointed to a stack of bricks "
Raiton: Shiroi Yaiba (Lightning Release: White Blade)" He drew his Katana dashing at his target. With a fluent motion an a white raiton energy coating the edge of his now sharper blade he cut clean through the pile of bricks.

The young man would let out a howl when he slashed, before he back flipped and made sure Knight could see him once more "Second jutsu ,pay attention and don't slow up...Raiton: Shiroi Yari (Lightning Release: White Spear)" he formed similar hand signs than the last technique. Then he proceeded to coat the blade in Hatake white lightning, or raiton chakra that appeared white as snow. He slash down with his katana this time, unleashing a faster but not as focused cutting blade of chakra, that would decimate the bricks "Now I showed you, study this over, and over until you get it right.., any questions?" with that Len stood and watched, ready to correct him.

XXXXXKnight watch his bother closely taking in all the given knowledge, like some sort of super computer. The next few minute he took the time to study the and hand seals and practice them repeatedly. Once he felt the seal remember by hard in the back of his head, Knight would perform the seals for both techniques, and channel a good amount of chakra. It was important to go ahead and knock down the basics of the techniques, the hand seals and channeling of chakra, so all he he to do then was perform each techniques.

It seemed that Knight was getting the hang of the families style. He was a good student, learning at such a quick pace. Having use little of his chakra, Len seemed not to mind Knights learning pace. Instead of just staying her he quickly tossed his brothers those scrolls with a lazy look behind the mask "You have the basics, follow the scrolls and you should be fine...I'll go see if mistress Raikage has come up with something more for us...don't let me down little bro..." with that Len flashed out of the academy, if Knight was a Hatake it should only have taken him a few hours to master those gateway techniques. In that he threw on his proper attire and left back for the Raikage's office.

XXXXXKnight stood to his feet after having the hand seals down beat. His eyes darted over to a wood dummy, his feet shift then took off with great speed. Knight perform the hand seals as need, then grasp his tanto - Fallen Night. "(Lightning Release: White Blade)" he said, manifesting his signature white chakra compose of the raition properties, his blade now had a amazing extension. By the time the techniques was used and Knight ran pass the dummy, it had been cut in two.

"I'm not done just yet, (Lightning Release: White Spear)" he adds, sheathing his tanto to only do a few more seal and unsheathe his katana - Sky Grasp. Upon reaching for the handle, Knight's hands flare in a white light, which transcend into releasing a white blade of raition at the struck dummy. The dummy at the point had been chop into four chunks.

Knight sheathes his katana slowly and take a bow, which meant mastery to himself, he had learn the techniques his brother knew. Yet Knight was ready to branch off at this point, learning his own techniques and path. Knight stood to his feet and ran off to the raikage office quickly.

X X XHitori quickly recovered from the slash he put forth. He moved elegantly bringing the katana to his side with the tip cutting a small indent into the wooden floor he trained on. Hitori breathed in and out one good time before turning toward the Bukijutsu scroll he had acquired. Hitori mvoed to the scroll and sat in front of it with his legs crossed. "Hmmmm.." Gray hues scanned the page before finding the next technique he would learn, "Sakamaku No Ame." Hitori scratched his head while his other hand was placed on the ground for him to stand. "I must focus.." Without hesitation Hitori lowered his katana while closing his eyes to picture his natural flow of chakra. He was a novice in the use of chakra but he had a basic understanding.

X X XInside his mind Hitoris thoughts moved forth in the form of clouds. It was apparent to him that he had an affinity to fuuton element chakra. Hitori felt an urge to swing his katana and he did so; causing a burst of wind to go forth and diminish. It was obvious he had done the technique but with little effect. Hitori knew the technique wouldn't be as easy as the first because it was a defensive technique. "Tch.. you've got this Hagane!" Hitori brought his katana nearer to him while extending the tip so that he assumed a battle ready stance. the room appeared silent, a perfect place to train in peace. Hitori had entered a state of tranquility as it would seem.

X X XHitori lifted his arm with force to move his katana with in the form of an upward slash. In that instant a gust of wind chakra dashed from the steel of his katana, its intensity was less than effective, and Hitori knew it. This would drive him to continue on, even though sweat had already began to accumulate along his brow. The little light that was within the dojo now shined on Hitori. Without a thought Hitori lifted his foot to begin a forward sprint. Instinct lead him to slash swiftly to the right while bringing his katana back into position to thrust it forward. The sweat shook from his forward with the powerful action, Hitori turned with an intense look upon his face.

X X X"Keep fighting... I must!" Hitori tightened his grip on the handle of his katana. The bandages on his wrists and forearms seemed to loosen with each passing technique. Hitori didn't care though, his mind was focused on training with his katana, to become one with it. Gray hues gazed forward while light seemed to be evading Hitoris figure. A The steel of his katana seemed to glimmer even within the shadows; "Phew -- Phew" Hitori pushed forward into the light with a swift vertical slash into a roll sideways that landed Hitori on one knee. His katana was held firm by his grasp and without a second to spare Hitori moved to give another slash horizontally, a small gust moved passed Hitrois face as he continued to train.

X X XTo another a gust of wind within a dojo would be odd. But to Hitori it was a right of passage, one who holstered the power of the air around him seemed all to mighty to Hitori. He knew that with the proper training he would become strong enough to protect Kumogakure, without the slightest of hesitation. A moment passed and Hitori sheathed his katana, he felt the training he had done was enough for now. He had a basic understanding of his katana, it felt like an extension to his arm when he wielded it, something most swordsman strive for. "Good work Hagane..!" A grin moved across Hitroi's face as he packed up the scroll and embarked back to go see the Kage for his next objective.

✖✖✖✖✖ After a day out of the academy Hitori had returned and with a grin upon his face. His youthful appearance moved into the academy, the feeling was right for training. "I can work with this..." Hitori gazed around the academy while pulling at a string that fastened the scroll he was given to his waist. The young genin took a seat in the middle of the large room. His katana rested firmly upon his back; he read the text upon the scroll as well as the hand signs needed for said ninjutsu. "Seems simple enough.." Hitori stood straight while peering forward with focused hues. The only thing he wanted to control was his breathing. He knew he had a natural affinity to fuuton element chakra. The key to this training session would be chakra control, the direct manifestation of wind to create a barrier like wind funnel in front of himself.

Learning: Bouseki Tate no Kaze - Spinning Shield of Winds (1/3)

✖✖✖✖✖ All thoughts had seemed to clear Hitoris mind as he focused on the area in front of him. Without hesitations his bandaged hands moved together and began doing a string of simple, D-ranked hand seals. "Bouseki Tate no Kaze!" His words seemed to echo through the Academy until the shutter of wind moving into the vicinity seemed to disrupt Hitoris words. Gale winds moved calmly in front of Hitori like a shield that would block and repel most attacks as Hitori had read. After a few seconds the technique had faded, showing novice chakra control on Hitoris behalf. The young genin only nodded as he placed his hands together once more to commence hand seals.

Learning: Bouseki Tate no Kaze - Spinning Shield of Winds (2/3)

✖✖✖✖✖ The academy was quite for a moment. All noises had ceased and the only light seen within the academy hung above. A serious expression moved across the face of Hitori; "Bouseki Tate no Kaze!" Violent winds formed just in front of the young genin. He took a step back while using his right arm to cover his face from the winds. His chakra control was less then desired, Hitori knew that with training he would become better. With the lose of his focus, Hitori watched as the wind made shield began to disperse. It was amazing to him that he had the power to conjure such a technique for his defense. He would thank the shinobi that gave him the scroll later. "Hmph, I feel it this time Hagane..." Hitori peered forward while his hands slammed together in the form of a hand seal. "Tch" His hands moved in a small string of hand seals only to end abruptly in the form of a wind based shield that had been made almost flawlessly in front of Hitori.

Finding himself an area inside the dojo which had a hearty amount of space for the two wolf-like ninja, Kay let the wolf stand a good five meters from himself. "Okay, it's time to train buddy. First thing first, four legged technique," he said getting low to the ground. Chakra began to emit from his claws and his feet as he did the handseals. He kneeled to the ground and put out a clawed hand, his stance correct but with no increased senses. 1/2


He stood back up, Akatsuchi stil watching intently, and replicated his handseals. The chakra was now focused more to his head and limbs, so as to increase his senses as well as giving him more speed. His stance looked much like Akatsuchi's, every muscle now being used to make his frame look more like a wolf's. He moved much faster as him and Akatsuchi lounged out towards each other. When they collided they rolled aroudn each other, and then lounged back in. To anyone else it would look like the boy and wolf were having a fierce dance, or battle depending on who was watching. Thisdance ended with Akatsuchi pinning her master to the dojo floor. 2/2

"Okay old Girl, it's you turn. The technique I'm going to teach you is called Dynamic marking. All you have to do is aim, and pee to be honest." She barked at him, a sweat drop appearing on his head. "No, I'm not joking. Aim for the target over there." She complained at him, but focused on the target without fail anyway. She jumped with incredible speed and a stream of urine flew outward, striking just to the right of the target. 1/2

"Alright, this time you're going to have to angle your body correctly, so that when you actually try for a hit it will more or less sail to the target. I know you got this buddy!" She barked happily at his encouragement and he nodded. This time she jumped from his side, her sandy fur pushing back against her lean body, and she released her marking fluid. The acidic fluids struck the target dummy precisely, and she hit the wall above it, bouncing backwards as she touched it and landing near Kay triumphantly. He rubbed her ears and smirked. "Good girl! See how easy it is? Just aim, and shoot!" he teased as she growled at him.

Now for the next technique, the two would have to be in perfect synchronization in order to use it. Pulling out a small treat, Kay tossed it in the air. Akatsuchi chomped down on the treat and her sandy fir became as brown as a mound of the earth she was named after. Kay gathered chakra in his body, as well as her gathering hers, and he did some handseals. The chakra he used glided over to her body quickly, and began to surround and morph her structure. 1/4

Her fur began to suck inward slightly and her skeleton morphed itself until she looked like a morph between a human and a dog. Her ears moved down on her face and then reshaped, losing their points and rounding out. In addition to this, her four limbs elongated and strengthened themselves as well. Her teetch, though not by much, changed shape and position as she began to look more and more like Kay, or a female version.

Next, her entire body itslef stretched and then cruves began to appear. Her nails would take the same shape as her master's, her feeet, her hair would change color, as would her eyes, and her nose would also begin to shift. Her clothing would randomly appear in a poof as she stood up, looking nearly identical to her master.

Finally, the last of her fur would disappear along with her eye dog like tongue. It was now more logical to fit her human mouth, and her entire look was identical to Kay's in a fraternal way. "Not too shabby," he said as she smirked. "Mostly," she replied as her tail disappeared last. They high fived and Kay bent down on his heels. "Now for the Tsuuga technique..."

Setting up five dummies, Kay would learn the technique while his partner took notes and then leared as well, while in the Man Beast Clone form.

Kay began by reading his clan's technique thoroughly. He had ran a good distance ahead when he jumped and began to spin rapidly. This however, wasn't a fast enough spin, so he wasn't able to do much besides fall and push the target dummy over. Akatsuchi noted the speed requirement as he reset and began another attempt.

THis time he started spinning as soon as he left the ground, resulting in wind trailing behind him as he dashed ahead. THough he was moving fast enough, he was only able to move forward and with little control over his movements. The dummy was indeed blow away, but not to the effect he wanted. Frustratedly, he reset the dummy and stood near his partner. She noted the need for control and focus, as well as the heavy rotations she would need to use in order to control the attack, as did Kay.

"One more time!" he yelled to the heavens as he dashed forward and jumped with an even faster rotation. He was now a long blur of color as he flew through the air. He turned suddenly, hitting an angle and coming back down with a loud crash as his attack destroyed the dummy. Much to his suprise, Akatsuchi came up behind hmi with the same spinning technique, slamming into the dummy to his left and then rising up into the air, her rotation stopping as she landed gently beside him. He nodded in approval.

"Okay, now what we are going to have to do here is learn the same techniques again, this time using our coordination to strike our opponent with twice the force," he explained as they both sat in a catcher's position across from each other. Even as a human, she made an "arf," which made him smirk and then begin the training.


The two of them ran forward and began spinning at different times. This led to Kay being farther ahead of her when they began their fluent movements, and the lack of timing made it hard to hit the target at the same time. They stopped spinning and slid, Kay a signifacant distance ahead. 1/5 of Gatsuuga.

This time, they decided that they would both start the spin after three steps of running, which would halt that confusion at least. Even so, Kay's spin was much faster than his partners, and as they came near the target the turbulance he created threw her offf the mark greatly. Now grounded, they bothed laughed. "Whoops, okay how about I spin a bit slower and you a bit faste rokay?"he mocked as she nodded. 2/5

Now settling the speed issue hopefully, they began the dance. AS he had hoped, they were able to fly straight ahead and smash into the target with perfect accuracy. He was satisfied that they could do Tsuuga together, but he thought they should have better coordination and make the movements more... unpredictable. "I have an Idea buddy," he said as he began explaining... 3/5

"Let's go!" he called out as they both began their drill-like taijutsu attack. This time Kay shot forward much faster as Akatsuchi tailed him, and then rose up behind him. He knocked the dummy into the air and continued straight for a second. He curved as she did and they came towards the dummy in large arcs. This was met with disastrous results as they hit the dummy.. and each other... 4/5

"One last try, we got this in our hands!" he said as they began running forward full force. Like before Akatsuchi rose in a wide ar as Kay zig-zagged into the target, throwing it into the air as he hit it's legs. Kay would in turn curve out in a circular motion and then dashed upward, Akatsuchi already about to make contact. They both skidded past each other with the dummy caught in between, and then came back arougd for another go. The dummy was left in shreds as the two high fived each other. "PERRFECT!" he yelled to her as she transformed back.
