Jia-Li had escaped her home quite easily this time. She only had to persuade her older brother to keep his mouth shout and to climb the stone wall that bordered their whole home.

Now Jia-Li wished for the thousandth time to hear the sounds of the busy streets of the Fire Nation. She pulled her cloak's hood a bit so no one could see her face. If someone found out that she was outside of her property unprotected they would take her straight to her parents. Jia-Li could not understand why she needed the protection. She was as strong as any of the other girls and stronger than some of the guys. And not only could she bend fire but also lightening which to years to learn.

Jia-Li walked aimlessly around the streets going down different alleys and passing shops and poor small homes. She didn't realize where her feet had taken her until she was at the entrance of the royal palace. "I haven't been in here since I became deaf." Jia-Li said in her soft voice.

Zhu roamed the streets trying to look for Jia-Li. His parents were home from the meeting at the royal palace and the were asking questions.

Now he was flashing Jia-Li's picture to everyone he saw asking if they saw her. He knew he didn't have to show them the picture. Everyone knew who Jia-Li was. Finally he was in luck. An old woman saw his sister go to the royal palace. Zhu thanked her and started to run in the opposite direction. Why would she go there?, he thought.

Andy stepping of the ship into the great fire bending city. He looked so different from when he had left his home six years ago. He had grown a mustache and had grown tan from his travels. He was more balanced in his bending and more confident. He saw the fire temple and wandered up to see the sites.

Jia-Li walked out of the palace heading towards the docks. Her mind kept going to the Fire Lord's note. She didn't want to go on the mission; didn't want see Zuko. Okay that was a lie. I do want to see him, I crave to see him. I miss him even though he hurt me, she thought. Jia-Li looked around her surroundings and smiled. Change would be good. But she would miss the Fire Nation.

Kai ran to an allyway, stealing fruits from carts. He ran next to a building and hid by it and ate the fruit. He walked back out and saw a boat. He smirked. "Finally...A way to escape from hell." He ran towards the boat.

Jia-Li had slowed down her pace letting the guards that were supposed to protect her go ahead of her. She kept her eyes open for her brother hoping he was somewhere in the crowd, but who she found was not her brother. It was Zuko. "Zuko..?" Jia-Li didn't understand, she thought he was at Ba Sing Se. Jia-Li took a step toward me before running at him full blast. "Zuko!!" She screamed hugging him when she reached him.

Kai slowed down when there were so many people. He Looked around,confused.

zuko turns around and replies while hugging jia-li " what are you doing in ba sen sa ? "

Kai was lost. "Dammit...Where am I?"

Jia-Li backed away from him so she could see his words. "Your father sent me. I'm...living in the palace now so I must go on missions. This is one of them" She said biting her lip. He looks so different. I can't believe he even remembers me. I wonder if he...No I refuse to think that he missed me, Jia-Li thought. "Anyway I leave in two weeks to report back. So I won't be in your hair for long." Jia-Li said her voice getting colder to mask the hurt.
