Captain's Quarters

[Roseless_Thorn_Kuma]

Thorn took up Kyoko's zanpakto and sunpoed to his own way to follow.

[[*hiss* ]]

Kaniedie and Tsuki appeared with armloads of tools "Alright, we might as well fix this while I'm Soul Society" they began to work on Thorn's destroyed home.  

[Roseless_Thorn_Kuma]

Thorn took up a seat on an overturned bucket where his 'backyard' was, with a sketchbook and charcoal, and started scratching out drawings of his old quarters and office.  

[Mistress of Monsters]

"Oh... Like that? Oi Tsuki!" Kaniedie motioned her over to inspect the drawing and began fixing their current layout design, getting back to work on the main area.

"I'll have to make the desk myself, unless either of you has any skill in carving or artistic carpentry." He leaned back against a surviving cherry tree and started to draw a portrait on a fresh page, tearing out the previous so the others could reference it at need.  

[Mistress of Monsters]

"You'd have to ask Tsuki about that, I've never been one for Shinigami or Human design styles. Just ask if you need any forging or possibly a Kidou done here, otherwise all I can do is cut, nail, and decorate" Kaniedie observed the structures for a moment, thinking perhaps there was a slight lean to one side on a wall...

Tsuki smiled at her Captain "I can carve well enough, I just need to find something large and thick enough to make anything.. Then again maybe you would be better suited for it...."

"I can do the wood-work myself, I actually made that desk twice already, once during a trip to the world of the living, it's just that I'm particular about certain things." He didn't look up from the portrait he was drawing, "It's alright Tsuki, leave the larger pieces to me, but could you refresh my memory... what's a kibou?" he lowered his voice and looked up from his work, alittle embarrassed that he was ignorant about something.

Tsuki jumped a bit and focused, her eyes closing in concentration "Ummm.....! Oh! It's a thing called 'Demon Magick', spells used by Shinigami!"

Kaniedie smiled, her acute hearing allowing her to catch that little question, 'and he's a Captain. ha ha ha...'

Thorn narrowed his eyes in Kaniedie's direction, 'Bloody Kenpachi didn't have to know this stuff, and I became captain the same way he did.' "What would a bloody spell have to do with my quarters? Don't worry about it Tsuki."  

[Mistress of Monsters]

"You really want to know Thorn? Then get out of my way and I'll show you" Kaniedie turned to the two with a mischievous smile, she tossed aside the extra tools and lumber near her "And besides, Kenpachi wasn't very strong thanks to that lack of knowledge. Kidou can give you a little edge in battles... as well as other things..."

Tsuki glanced once at Kaniedie and ran in the opposite direction, making sure to be well out of her way.

Thorn moved back, "Be honest with yourself, if the field had been leveled he'd be among the strongest captains of all, if the man could have attained bankai it would be the same, but like him I make due without the bloody spells." He leaned back on the tree, "So show me what good they are for something besides destruction and battle."  

[Mistress of Monsters]

"Very well, just watch yourself Thorn" Kaniedie raised both her hands and closed her eyes "Rebuild" the lumber groaned a bit before a whirlwind of wood, earth, and metal surrounded her and the remnants of Thorn's quarters. After about ten or so minutes it dissipated and before her stood a near empty building identical to the original; panting, Kaniedie turned to Thorn "..Convinced they're useful now?" she kneeled down and began to look for any out-of-place items outside it.

Tsuki smiled nervously at her Captain "She tries to be less violent and a threat to people it seems, though that's just not what she's good at I guess....."

Thorn leaned back against his tree again, applauding slowly with a look of approval on his face, "You've made your point, maybe I could stand to learn some of these 'spells', but not the destructive ones.. My body and zanpakto are good enough for that."
Then he turned to Tsuki and nodded to what she said, "More time to adjust might help.." then he took up his sketch pad again.

"If ever you wish it, I'd be glad to help you learn some of my people's spells. Draconian 'demon magic' is mainly based on healing and reversing damage, unlike most of the Shinigami's kind" Kaniedie regained her emotionless demeanor and walked away from the newly reconstructed quarters, glancing back at Tsuki 'I'll trust you to be on your own for a while, let this be a test on how much anyone here can trust you...'

Tsuki smiled broadly, clearly she was amused, at her Captain's comment "I'd think a few thousand years of being stuck with Shinigami would be long enough for a normal person.."

"I'll take you up on that one day, and thanks for the repair," he hated when Kaniedie went emotionless, it's hard to trust someone when they seem so cold and hard to read. Turning back to Tsuki, and leveled his eyes, "Tell me about it, she should try actually being one again... or for the first time, woman's bloody confusing."
