[RP] Ashien (Open)

[Saintscythe Kiriiae]

Kiriiae released the trader's arm with an icy glare. She didn't want anyone else on her case right now. The man backed away a couple of steps before firing up a rant.

"Everything's fine." Kiriiae interrupted him, then walked off coldly before anyone else had made an attempt at starting a discussion. She had work to do, and this incident had wasted her time.

Kiriiae turned around right before setting off again. "The security around here needs to stop sitting around and do their jobs..." she said with a sidelong glance toward the woman who had approached her.

Shifting the weight of the merchandise she bought back to her other arm, she walked away.

Groaning, "J" continued looking up at the ceiling, "Ugh...no one wants to hire a wandering swordsman for anything, not even to clean windows." His stomach would growl, without looking he'd reach for the belt around his waist, "Shuddup!" and tighten it. It wasn't long after that "J" noticed the two guardsmen walk into the pub, taking note of the female one glancing at him then leaving after whispering to her comrade. "Looks like we've overstayed our welcome here.", he'd say as the male guard occasionally looked over his shoulder to the pair.

"J" leaned forward and rested his elbows on the table then looked at Ren, "We'd better ge-", and stopped short of finishing his sentence when the person it was directed at, was sleeping. Snoring softly, Ren had her head hung slightly forward, the cloak's hood sliding back to expose her almost snow white hair, creamy white skin and small scales on her face; though you'd have to be up close to see the scales. "Tch...I'm not about to lose a hand waking you up...", "J" calmly sighed and closed his eyes to take a light nap despite the attention he'd caught. "Maybe they'll be gone next time I open my eyes.", he thought.

The female Guardsman sighed at Kiriiae's attitude. Though she wouldn't blame Kiriiae for blaming them. She didn't like Imperial traders doing their things here any more then Kiriiae did. But the town alone would not be able to get all it's material by itself at their current state. Let alone, they couldn't know which trader had lied about their reason to go into town. Some traders are caught selling their wares in the street while other slipped by.

"Uh wait!" The female guardsman called out to Kiriiae. "I recognize you from the Smithery. There's going to be an event later today at the City Hall in regards of two visitors. It would be appreciated if you attend to vote on a pressing issue and state a comment or two. Would we have you attendance?"

The male Guardsman at the Tavern finished his drink and noticed "J" and his companion had fall asleep. That made things much easier for him to deal with. Last thing he wanted to do was chasing them around town and cause a ruckus. He glanced up at the clock above the bar and wondered how long his partner was going to take.

Kiriiae paused, turning to face the woman. "What sort of event are we talking about?" She shifted her weight slightly, not entirely interested in what this woman had to say, but attempting to be polite enough so as to not raise any suspicion.

The female Guardsman looked back toward the Inn before turning her head back to Kiriiae. She took a deep breath and said. "My friend and I believe we recognized two fugitives wanted by the Imperium. The Wanted poster came in yesterday so not many people would know about it. But anyway, the event will be for Ashien population to decide what we will do about them. Now I dont want to have them around if it's going to bring the Imperium to our front door. I say we best get rid of them."
