Mizu_Kage_Hikari Some changes have been made to the stat and skill systems of Kingdom Academy. I blame Scar, Kyle, and Ven, because they were asking questions and that's always a bad thing because then I start thinking. Anyway, just a few things, and totally optional for updating: 1) Spellbilities. These were discussed before in Skype, but stupid me never edited the info posts to include them. Basically, they're when an ability can double as a spell, or a spell as an ability. Check out the two newest profiles (Shino and Ayden) for example. 2) Stats. Just increased the maximum individual stat limit to a multiple of three to allow for greater variety. This is all Kyle's fault, he did the math! 3) Ability Upgrades. If your character has an upgraded form of an ability, that can override/overwrite the lower form of the ability. For example, Super Glide would replace Glide when your character gets it. Also, don't bother putting "guard" as an ability, not that anyone has tried, but figured I should throw that in there just in case. This does not apply to spells!Anyway, that's it, thanks for reading, merry Christmas. n_n

Kingdom Academy announcement thingy of doom!
There's gonna be a time skip soon, so if y'all want to get more posting in, do it now. I'll be throwing it out by the end of the month at the latest. So you got two weeks to post before we move on, k? K.
Added HP and MP to the stats. You don't have to add it to your profiles, I'll get that, it's based on your defense and magic attack stats. Yes, these also go up if you have a Keyblade or upgraded weapon or spell or ability that boosts one of the stats. I've added it to the info posts, but here it is for those of you intimidated by the scary wall of text (it scares me, too, don't worry):
HP = defense x4
MP = magic attack x2 This means spells have an extra bit of definition that includes the mana pool. Hahaha, Mana Pool/MP, see how clever I am? rolleyes But yeah, if it draws from your mana pool it's a spell. If I've already called your weird invention a spell or an ability don't worry about reclassifying it. I mean unless you really want to do your abilities and spells all over again, that's totes up to you, but I'd really rather you didn't because you were already approved as-is calm your tits.
I'll also be assigning MP points to spells, but those are gonna take me awhile so don't expect to see them soon. For the most part they're either gonna cost somewhere from one to three points. Some might cost zero. Some might cost five, but that's not likely unless your spell essentially destroys the world with a snap of the fingers. And if you somehow snuck that kind of power by me your name is probably Kyle and I really shouldn't be surprised we're gonna have to add some limits to that.
I'm gonna make class schedules! Woo~ This is why the time skip is gonna be near the end of the month. The skip's gonna take us to classes and I have to figure out what class is being taught when for what students and make up some classes to fill the list and squeeze in lunch hours and BLAH. Brain work. Yuck.

HA Announcement
Okay, so, HA is obviously slowing down quite a bit. The only thing really going on is Turks right now, and various background things, all of which can all be done in ATEs.
As such, I figure I'll do like Mizu and give you guys til June (probably the first week, though the sooner the better) to do what you want. Then we'll time skip to shortly around/after dinner time (about an eight hour time skip).
Obviously, plenty of stuff can happen in that time period, so feel free to use the ATE thread.
Just note: if anything in those 8 hours should/would have a lasting effect, you need to let everyone who would be involved know the end effects (so they know how to act after the time skip, in the main thread).
If you're unsure about whether something you want to do is okay in those 8 hours, or if you have any questions at all, as usual feel free to ask! |

For the record, the thread you're looking for is in the main forum, the General Guild Questions, Suggestions, and Discussion. It was originally the OoC Chatterbox, but we sort of multi-purposed it into a Suggestion/Question thread, too. For clarification, I added an [OoC] tag to the beginning xD
Anywho, can't speak for the others, but I'm stupidly busy with school x_x Maybe ask in that thread, too, tends to get more attention anyway. |
