[ Al-Bhed Cid ; Viltgances ; Ghis : Hawaii : Sky Above Hawaii ]

"Sir, the Shiva... we've lost everything but our remaining fighters and two Ifrits-"

"The enemy is charging its cannons again! We've been targeted!"

Ghis had managed to get to his feet, his armor bloodied, and turned to the situation at hand. Luckily, some of the crew knew some simple healing, so he'd been taken care of quickly enough.

There had been a small bit of damage from some external source (Kyla's Birn Strike), but considering the minuscule size of the Zord in comparison to the massive Dreadnought Leviathan, it went mostly unnoticed in comparison to the current threat.

He'd seemed at a loss for words, his eyes narrowed in intense thought. What were their options? The cannons wouldn't do as much to the Leviathan as the Shiva, but with the intense amount of energy and their total lack of defenses...

"They've fired-!"

Suddenly, on the view screen, as the crew watched in silent terror at the approaching blast, one of the two remaining Ifrits soared into view. It slid just barely into the path of the laser and took the full brunt of the blow. There was a pause as some held their breath, but it was quickly knocked out at the next sight- two spots on the Ifrit began to glow hot, molten red and yellow before the lasers tore threw them and into the hull of the Leviathan. The Ifrit was lost- it quickly imploded from the now-imbalanced Nethicite reactors. Luckily, the blasts had been weakened, so the Leviathan only took surface damage.

They wouldn't make it. Even if they successfully drilled through, they would have the full brunt of the enemy on them; the other Ifrit would soon inevitably fall to the incessant Viltgance cannon fire.

"Cease drilling immediately. Call retreat. We have lost this day," Ghis commanded, his voice dull. He hadn't even finished talking before the massive laser drill stopped and the ship began to move again, turning away from the island and force all together. The crew had been wanting this order to be given for awhile, it seemed.

---

"YES!" Cid shouted, his normally gruff voice sounding odd in such an enthusiastic state as he opened communications with all allies. "They're retreating! E lyh'd pameaja ed, they're retreating!"

The remaining Ifrit had also begun to pull away, as well as all the enemy fighters- the ones left, anyway. The air battle was officially over.

[Azrael: Hawaii: Skies Above -> Lugae's Lab]

The two males flapped apart from each other, floating there for a few seconds, wings flapping to stay aloft. Pain scratched, the ground below littered with scraps of metal and 'feathers'. Azrael's zord hand one of it's tails barely hanging on, and Joe's was missing a foot and seemed to have trouble staying up. And darkness still swirled around them both.

"Gaaaaaah...Figures the 'good guys' are winning. Cliche to the max. I'm done with this piss poor excuse of a good time." And then the zord seemed to dissipate, as Azrael left in a dark portal, appearing in the lab and collapsing against Noku, the weretiger wrapping an arm around the tired replica and licking a small head wound on him caused from the shock of blows. Hitting your head was never good when it bled, and he was tired. Damn rage fits. Amazing feeling, but the cool down was a b***h.

[Joe: Skies Above]

The male panted for breath as he stared after Azrael's departure, the darkness around him swirling. He couldn't do it, for some reason. Why? Why?! WHY?!

He slammed his fists on the arm rests of his seat, before realizing that he was losing air. Considerably. The left wing was losing power, one of the power connectors apparently damaged. "S*** s*** s***!"

The male landed on the ground, mildly hard thanks to the speed and lack of a foot. But for now, he was...definitely grounded, and a bit of a ways away. He was tired, too, from screaming and raging, but there was still fighting. And apparently a lot of darkness was at the battlefield. Damn, he needed a break after this fight.

Sylph seemed to dissipate, just like Azrael's had, and the male ran off, breathing slightly heavy. Either he'd make it in time for the fight, or he wouldn't. But he was going to try his damnedest to be fast.

He never even noticed the darkness that seemed to dissipate after his landing....

[ Kyle, Ooze, Rangers : Hawaii : Village ]

Normally, Kyle would have been absolutely thrilled about what most would consider an outright victory. And for a brief moment, he was.

Then a second communication flashed onto the Allied monitors. It was... the Grand Councilwoman?

"The energy inside the volcano! It's become completely unstable! The drilling may have stopped, but the tremors are only getting worse by the second, and our scanners are picking up a massive fluctuation! There's very little time before the entire mountain explodes!"

Kyle's face grew tense, his jaw slack somewhat as his eyes raced across his own scanners. What she said was very definitely true. The volcano's caldera seemed to be growing brighter, too.

What could they do? He raced, trying to think up some action, some idea-

And came to it mere seconds after another communication opened up. The Power Rangers, this time, with Tommy (the White Ranger) at the helm.

"Guys, what if we plug the volcano up with Ooze here?" he asked, and Kyle mentally smacked himself for not remembering the ending of the movie sooner. "He's barely taking any damage, so it might be our best bet to beat him, anyway! Would that stop it up, you think?"

The Grand Councilwoman appeared on the screen once again, though she was looking away, reading a different monitor. "It's- it's possible. If he was broken down by the energy, he'd release a burst of energy on his own. It's impossible to tell the outcome- it could cancel out the growing energy pressure, or it could merely act as a catalyst. But it's our only option."

"Then we need to lure him up there! Hey, earth-controlling Rangers, if you can close up the caldera over him, it might increase our chances!"

It really was their only option. But how could he help...?

The massive Stone Spear struck the Ooze Zord, and though he was pushed forward by the force, the spear itself shattered against Ooze's mechanized form. There was no time to react between that attack and John's sudden fit of electric rage. Ooze was knocked to the ground, and without warning, large Blizzard spells erupted on his face, causing him to shout in rage.

"I'll crush you! I'll crush you all!" he shouted, slowly pulling himself back up to his feet; by this point, the others would have gotten the Ranger's message about the coming plan.

"Bring it on!" Tommy shouted over the communication at Ooze, suddenly taking flight and heading off toward the top of the mountain. "If you think you can!"

"Cowards! You can't run from me!" he shouted, and finally getting to his feet, he pushed away any nearby Zords that had tried to get close and took off on a run. Blinded by rage, he began to climb the volcano in massive bounds.

[Dawn : Hawaii : The Sky Above]

Dawn watched as the fight between Azrael and Joe unfolded, though she couldn't see much, she could still sense they were nearby. It wasn't long before she witnessed as Joe's zord fall to the Earth. She was almost about to rush down to help Joe, when she heard the conversation over the com. She turned her attention to Ooze who was making his way to the volcano. The same one that was about to explode. They needed to stop Ooze and the Volcano but at the same time, they had a man down, in an area that already hand massive explosions everywhere.

"Darn it!" Dawn shouted out in both frustration and anger as she guided down towards Joe's landing area. She quickly dismissed Garuda and stood in the area, still in her Ranger suit. She saw Joe who was already taken off to where the battle was happening in the village.

"Hey, Joe," Dawn said as she ran, trying to catch up with the fighter, "Wait up!"

[[ Sory: Ooze isn't up the mountain yet x___x He's still running up it. Sorry for the confusion, but I figured I'd give the other Zords a chance to catch up. ]]

[Stitch :: Angel Grove :: Alien Ship Hangar >Air above Hawaii village]

Stitch had been walking around the alien’s ship for a long time before he finally managed to sneak away from the guards and the Grand Council lady. He made it quickly to the Alien hangar and slipped into one of their ships.. “Hehehe… Fun!” Stitch said to himself before he pressed some of the ship buttons to get himself out of the hangar and airborn.

When Stitch was finally in the air, he noticed that most of the fight was already done. “Aw party gone!” Stitch said banging on one of the keys by accident in the ship. “Woops!” Stitch said before the ship started to head back to the ground, ready to crash. Stitch luckily, made it out of the ship before it crashed, however, it managed to head straight towards the group of people that seemed to be stuck together for some reason.

[ Matt :-: Hawaii :-: Village ]

In what was surely a karmic return, Matt was bowled over and tossed to the ground by the force of Terra's Ultima. He groaned in pain, but wasn't terribly hurt.
'Sheesh, are you okay guy?' the voice asked, sounding concerned. "Pumpernickel!" was all Matt could say, disoriented from the blast and following tumbling. 'Yeah you'll shake it off. Now get up, I doubt she's just gonna w-'

The voice in Matt's head was cut off as two sudden storms suddenly struck the battlefield with lightning. Even from his position on the ground, he could see that the enemies were quickly being wiped out, save for the stronger targets. He stayed flat on the ground, not wanting to risk being struck by a stray bolt. Then as the storms subsided, he suddenly felt like his mind wasn't as weighed down. Almost as if someone had taken away some of his troubles... as much as one could in the midst of a war.

Matt jumped up to his feet as he felt a surge of energy course through him and his vitality renew. "Alright, I am so ready to kick some butt now, let me at th-" was all Matt could say before the remaining group of enemies were suddenly sucked into ball of dark energy. He looked for the caster, and his eyes rested on a new figure in the battlefield, a knight clad in dark armor holding a swallow. "Well, good thing he's on our side then," he mused, wondering when they joined the battle.

Focusing on the enemies caught in the Gravija spell, we quickly went to work on thinking of the best course of action. '1000 Needles? Nah, too weak. Aqua Breath and Flamethrower wouldn't reach. Electrocute would only hit one of them...'
'You know, you did learn that spell from Crazy Lady's robot ride. Matt's grin became visible as the view window on his helmet fully retracted. After getting a little closer to the entangled group to make sure they were in earshot, he took a deep breath and tossed his head back. A piercing screech emanated from his mouth as he unleashed Confuser, which would have the chance of confusing all the enemies that heard it.

[ Sora, Riku, Cloud, Seymour : Hawaii : Battlefield ]

Once Louis entered his strange new form (Sora was faintly reminded of his Anti-Form), the Keyblade Master and his allies watched, some in awe (namely Sora) and some merely analyzing the situation (Riku and Cloud). They got to their feet as their opponent, Lexaeus, was sucked away, and they began to walk toward the scene, blades at the ready.

The winds were somewhat fierce, the trees bending toward the dome of energy, and Sora couldn't help but feel slightly disturbed at the raw power of Darkness he felt emanating from Louis at the moment. Riku and Cloud apparently shared his sentiments, as they eyed him just as cautiously as they'd eyed Lexaeus mere moments before.

It was hard to tell how Seymour felt about the situation; to be honest, it was hard to tell how Seymour felt about anything at all, so long as he was stuck in his Natus form. However, he watched the situation carefully, hovering forward as he did so. Terra, he'd noted, had run off, and any other enemies had been quickly incapacitated.

Even whilst staying with these neophytes, you somehow managed to barter an alliance with that Replica... interesting.

"So, um... is the battle over?" Sora asked, watching as Matthew blasted the sphere with the Confuser spell that Terra's machine had used near the beginning of the battle.

[ Louis : Hawaii : Battlefield ]

"Not until I say it's over."

The twisted voice of Louis seemed to echo from deep within the entity's core, as if it had no mouth with which to speak. When Matthew used the Confuser attack, he couldn't help but momentarily shifting his beady, golden gaze over to him, analyzing everything about him while simultaneously scanning what knowledge Louis' mind held about the man. Not much... only that the attack was originally from a machine Terra had used.

Interesting.

Returning his gaze to the Gravija spell, 'Louis' slowly began to close his gloved hand, still held out toward the dome, making a fist as if something were pushing against his fingers. As he did so, the sphere began to compress, more and more, and with ever inch it shrank, the energies within seemed to become more chaotic, straining against their barriers in the hopes of letting loose.

By the time he was done, mere seconds later, the large dome was now nothing more than a hovering sphere the size of a grapefruit, and the speck of light at its center shined with a blinding intensity. And it was at that point that he quickly opened his hand again-- the energy exploded outward with a stunning shockwave, even pushing allies back a few feet. The enemies, which were immediately sent flying (along with any debris that had entered the sphere, including the shredded remains of the cruiser), were intercepted by massive tendrils of Darkness, sprouting from Corridors of Darkness in the ground.

The tendrils towered ten feet over the battlefield, their forms nothing more than Darkness manifest. The tendrils were suddenly enveloped with a radiant, blood-red energy, as were their prisoners, who groaned as they were weakened. For every massive tendril holding a prisoner, a smaller tendril of Darkness erupted near Louis, injecting him with the gained health and energy.

When they were done feeding (this, too, only seemed to take a few moments), the massive tendrils rapidly pulled their prisoners into the Corridors, vanishing into the Darkness without a trace of their location. Louis, however, looked skyward, and with a menacing chuckle, knelt low to the ground, as if to tie shoes.

There was merely a blur of black-and-crimson as he leapt vertically into a Corridor of Darkness just above his head. After that, the only sign of activity was the crackling of red energy high above them, soaring back and forth in short bursts, always ending and starting in different locations.

[Anthony ~.~ Hawaii ~.~ Village]

Anthony was drained. He had no energy left to do anything other than attempt to keep balance. His magic strength was shot, as was his health and strength. At that point, he was just a rag doll waiting to be tossed around. In the mean time, he enjoyed the wonderful display of white-blue and black lightning raining from the sky, striking their enemies. It was rather beautiful, the way the two attacks were combined.

Once the attack was done, the knight felt his strength and health replenish. Seymour had casted a Curaga on the party. Though his magic did not return, the young man felt he could fight again, and with Louis' buffs, he had the confidence to do so. He even felt calmer as the darkness in his heart was pulled away, causing what anger he felt from being terribly beaten moments ago to diminish.

But before he had the chance to do anything, Louis began to transform into a armor-cladded anti-form--like a Neoshadow fused with a Soldier Heartless. As cool as he looked, Anthony stared at him with fearful eyes, with a slightly agape mouth to go along with it. The display of power from the arcanist was awe-inspiring, and part of the knight wished he, too, could wield such power, but how it was used was frightening--even against the enemy.

The young man began to feel pity for their enemies, so much that he even wanted to leap in and help them break free from their gravity prison. He wanted to cry out "Louis, stop! We've won!" but he couldn't shake the choking feeling building up in his throat. Though it didn't matter... the whole scene only lasted for a moment before all of them vanished into the sky.

Anthony's gaze rose skyward, his irises darting left-to-right as they followed what activity was visible in the sky.

"Is this the power you seek?" asked Odin, as if trying to guide his host into second guessing his prior decision.
"This isn't how I imagined it..." Anthony replied. "But I'd be lying if I didn't say a part of me wouldn't mind knowing what it would feel like."
Odin only responded with a low "Hmm...," as if disappointed at the knight's response.

[ Kyle, Ooze, Rangers : Hawaii : Village ]

It took a minute or two to make it up the mountain, even for the giant Ooze, but once there, the two megazords almost immediately began to grapple. It was quite a sight to behold; even from below, the two megazords could clearly be seen in the night sky. This was due to the hole drilled into the volcano's caldera-- the opening had revealed a brilliant source of light within the volcano. To those that got close enough to see, such as the Rangers and Ooze, the entire crater had filled with what could only be called liquid light. Apparently, the magical energy within had fused itself with the natural molten magma of the volcano.

The lava was now essentially pure, destructive energy made manifest.

He who fell first would be torn apart, broken down into oblivion.

As they continued their fight, the other Zords would have had time to catch up to them, only to notice that Ooze was winning. There were a couple of blows and finally, Ooze knocked the Rangers down- luckily, they landed on the rim of the caldera, close to the edge but not quite slipping.

"Don't you get it?!" Ooze shouted, walking up to the Rangers and glaring triumphantly. "I am the Emperor of Evil, and I am invincible! And now, the last bugs in my way will die as they should!"

"Jon, Bobbi, let's go! Dani, get his legs!" Kyle's voice shouted over the com-system, and from a distance away, the three of them could already be seen blurring toward Ooze- two gold dragons and a large white bird, each roaring or screeching as it would.

Nodding, Dani followed behind the group of Zords that followed Ooze before she surpassing the Earthlings' Zords and going behind Ooze.

"Gotcha!" Bobbi shouted as she followed Ooze up the side of the volcano, keeping herself out of range until he was in the right spot. Then, she and Shiva dove in, slamming hard against Ooze's mech right at the base of his skull before flying off.

"Even the invincible fall!" Kyle shouted as he finally reached Ooze alongside Kichi, just after Bobbi rammed his head.

Once in place, Dani made her Zord slam directly behind Ooze’s Knees in order to cause Ooze to trip over the Serpent Zord. “It's all over now.” Dani said before sliding underneath Ooze as he tripped so that she would not get caught as well.

With Dani slamming into the back of Ooze's legs and the three of them tackling his other side, the titan was pushed over the ledge, falling with a large splash into the liquified energy with a loud shout of rage and pain.

"Noelle! Kyle! Its your turn!" Kyle said into the monitors, giving the two Earth Zord pilots a grin and a thumbs up.

Inside the caldera, Ooze's screams slowly fell silent... but the energy that was being released only caused the volcano to shake even more. Dark purple energy slowly grew and clashed with the golden liquid, swirling and catalyzing... and rising. If the caldera wasn't sealed of, an eruption was inevitable.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Sky > Village}

Bobbi circled once to make sure Ooze had landed in. As soon as she saw the splash of the light, she trusted their terramancers to finish the job, and glided in to a landing on the outskirts of the village. As soon as she was on firm ground, she dismissed the Zord, thinking to help with the ground battle.

As the Gyrfalcon Zord disappeared, Bobbi found herself on one knee, just starting to shake. She bit her lip and forced herself to stand, still fighting off the reaction from when she and Shiva had dropped like stones earlier. Of course, the impact with Ooze’s mecha hadn’t helped much... She could hear the shouts and sounds of magic coming from the ground fight, and knew that now still wasn't the time to break down.

Just hold it together, she thought repeatedly, like a mantra, as she broke into a stumbling run towards where the rest of her friends were engaged in battle. Hold it together until everyone is safe.

She summoned Taulmaril and drew an arrow, looking around for a target. Mostly she saw her friends, any other enemies having been either defeated or chased off, but her eyes were drawn to something that made her blood run cold. She wasn't sure what it was, all black and red armor with glowing red eyes, but it chilled her to the core and frightened her all over again. Not that the rest of it all wasn't terrifying enough, but this... this was just a reaffirmation of the nightmare they were all living.

She set her arrow to bowstring and took aim, not even aware that this thing was an ally. Before she could loose, however, it had already disappeared into the sky, and she let the bowstring go slack again.

[Dawn : Hawaii : Village]

Dawn was slightly annoyed when she didn't get a response from Joe. Not that it should of surprised her any. That boy seemed to have a one track mind when it came to fighting. Even so, she had to admit he was reckless.... Though even if she did chew him out for it later, he didn't seem like he would listen. Dawn bit her lip as she ran the final yards to the village, stopping in her tracks as she saw the scene before her and the devastation that had occurred. And the large shadow that was going everywhere. At first glance she thought Heartless, but at the same time, it was not attacking anyone. The sight of it made her whole body tremble.

She looked around on the ground and spotted Anthony, who was watching the being. Dawn walked over to Anthony, and noticed that he looked rather weak as he watched the scene.

"Anthony, what exactly is going on here?" she asked as she moved to his side, "And what is that thing?"

{Kyle : Hawaii : Village

While he was glad that the chains had worked and everything was going well, he wasn't so happy with what happened afterward. Blown away by the Darkness, the Zord rolled over onto it's back, alarms going off everywhere. It wasn't a pleasant feeling.

With a couple button presses, a slab of earth righted him, just in time for him to get the message about the new plan. Seal Ooze in a volcano. Sounded fun. He hoped it hurt. Watching as Ooze ran after the Megazord, Kyle chased after it, the Serpent-Zord keeping just far enough away so that he wouldn't be in the way.

After watching the teamwork going on and other-Kyle giving them the go-ahead, Kyle got into position and started to do his thing, assuming Noelle would be right behind him. "It's just like back with the bridge in Beast's Castle. Except, ya know, considerably larger. Then again, I suppose we're also considerably larger now." He said into the monitors, the event making him remember his first big battle. Had it really only been a day? They'd gotten so much done and had so many battles that it was making his sense of time go slightly out of wack.

[Kyla: Hawaii: Air above Village ]

Make what quick?

But just as Kyla formed that thought in her head she felt something snaking its way around her. Whatever it was it cut into her skin through the spandex suit. She twisted herself to try and get free but that only dug the offensive binding deeper.
The girl cried out as the same barbed wire she remembered form their previous encounter wrapped around her arms pinning them out at her sides. She clutched the spine of her book in her left hand feebly but it was no use. She couldn’t stop Kai from opening the book and leafing through it at her leisure.
Well, maybe not her leisure she was going pretty quickly, like she knew exactly what she wanted.
“ Stop that!”

“- where did you stick your dirty little drawing… I know it’s here.”

“What?” What could she be possibly talking about?! How could she possibly know about what she draws in the past few days?! Has she been watching her? Spying- apparently not, for as their eyes met… she knew. Kyla didn’t know how to explain it, but she knew exactly what her replica wanted.
“Good thing about my date of birth- I remember making it. It SHOULD be the oldest on here… so further back then.”

No! Not that one! She couldn’t take it!
Kyla struggled but it hurt too much. Her suit was soon stained red from her struggling. Even as the buffs were cast upon her and her wounds healed Kai would simply wrangle the binding to make her original bleed afresh out of spite.
Finally the tainted artist ceased her page skipping and her finger almost lovingly traced the shameful etched piece that was folded and stuffed into the spine as if it could curl up and hide from prying eyes. “Don’t-“
Kyla began to pleased but stopped just as quickly. It was no use, anyone could see that.

“The only thing I can’t seem to understand is- just how LONG did you think you could have hidden this from your peers? Any fool can see the truth will win out in the end riiiiight?” Kai said as her fingers pinched the top edge of the page and began to tear the paper from its bondage.
Kyla began struggling again, even as the wire bite into her again she struggled. She couldn’t just do nothing and let her take that picture! This was about the time Louis’s buffed kicked in.
‘Tyue!’
The summon leaped out from within her master and made to flash it’s searing light into Kai’s wicked face- but she wasn’t so stupid as to fall for the same tactic she’d seen her original using throughout this battle. Just as the tiny teal colored summon appeared, a matching summon in a dulled charcoal grey appeared and the two locked claws and scrapped like two angry cats in an alley. They floated around their master biting and snapping and using the same attacks on each other, but both were evenly matched.
No- the replica Carbuncle was stronger. She could tell by the comparison on hits Tyue was getting in and how many injuries she bore in such a short amount of time.
“The advantage for my summon is there is no heart within to doubt with.”
“W-what?”
“Kyla I – I can’t! I’m sorry!”
Kai smirked as the page tore loose and she stuffed it in between the pages of her own.
“I must say... out of your works, this IS the only one I like.”
“No!! Nononono!” Kyla flailed but to no avail, with her hands and arm bound she couldn’t do anything! Nothing! Nothing at all! Only her summon could, but the dark summon was more than keeping her busy!
Kyla racked her brain over and over for something she could do. All around them the battle turned tides. Louise had entered some sort of Limit Form, Ivan was being herded towards the volcano and the air battle was coming to a close while a new fight raged on below. But all Kyla could concentrate on was the brightly burning Ebony Strike pointed right between her eyes.
“This is going to hurt you, more then it hurts me.”

“Don’t you DARE!”
The teal colored summon bite her counterpart viciously in the throat and sprung with her back feet, propelling herself towards the interlocked pictomancers. Her gem ignited just as Kai let her attack loose and pointblank range! “RUBY LIGHT!”
The attack reflected hoped for, and smacked Kai right in the face Her helmet splintering.
She released Kyla’s limbs and let her fall away while her smirking smile could be seen through the cracked of her helmet as she waved goodbye and disappeared with the picture she stole in hand. Tyue dove down after her and activated float.
For a moment neither said anything, and Kyla’s hands clenched tightly in frustration at her sides.

She didn't intend to kill me. She still wants me alive. That's why the attack didn't kill her when it bounced back.

“… we’ll deal with it later aibou, right now- the volcano or.. below.”
Right, while the super buffs were still on!
Moments later a newly formed Carbuncle Zord bike went zooming towards the impending explosive battle down below where the the 'Crimson Knight' was shakig things up, Kyla soared as fast as she could praying she wasn’t too late to at least do SOMETHING useful in this fight.

[[ Captain's Edit- Edited out references to Ajora because it's not publicly known that Ajora is even around, let alone in Louis. Even before the drive, he'd been blanketed in Darkness, and since it's nighttime, no one would have even seen the falling 'dark meteor'. ]]
