Halflings

"I tried to be a hero." Aithne gasped in pain. "Oh, by the way, there are three vampire royals trying to kill a couple halflings in town."

"OHMYGOD!" shouted Nettle. So that was the weird vibe she had gotten from those two girls. Suddenly the hawk she had sent to guard Gwenlyn swooped through her window. It quickly relayed information of the ongoing battle.

"Thanks," Nettle said to the bird. "Going after halflings is one thing, but those vampires are causing a huge commotion in the village. And they're threatening Gwenlyn." She finished patching up Aithne, then stood and grabbed her dagger.

"Time to kick all kinds of butt."

"Don't think you're going alone." Aithne said. "I have a bone to pick with one of them." Aithne reached for her swords.

Roy stood in front of Arania as Marina was on the ground. She had reattached the one leg, but Christian was miles away with the other.
