That must be really hard for you. Not so much for me because I'm practically a lesbian, but, you know. I do agree with you. I can't comprehend why they do the things they do, how they can possibly be so oblivous and uncaring and still manage not to have the crap beaten out of them by evolution. Ick. No advice.

My problem:
I hate my mother. There's no way around it, and she's not going to change, because, despite the fact that she's a scatterbrained, unpredictable, irresponsible academic, she's an adult. And adults don't change. How do I get her to leave me alone so I can have a better life?
