[Lost_and_Vindicated]

Miroku closed his eyes and bowed his head to the ground, disheartened by Sango’s tears. It was always the same. The familiar sound of buzzing captured his attention and he glanced up to find a dozen poisonous wasps fleeing after the boy. So it was another attack enforced by Naraku …, he thought, unaware of his white-knuckled grip on his staff.

Listlessly he breached the gap between him and the slayer, and kneeling down beside her he extended a hand to rest on her shoulder, “Sango …”

*I buried my hands in my face and sobbed more. When I felt your hand on my shoulder I turned my head and looked up at you. I turned and hugged your legs with a tight grip, looking for comfort.*
Miroku...why? Why Miroku?
*I looked back up at you with wide and teary eyes. I sniffled a little bit and let out a little cough. However, I still looked at you as if I were a shy child looking for guidance, or a lost puppy. All I could do is whisper.*
You will pay for this Naraku...
*I looked in the direction that Kohaku ran and then back at you, with the same lost expression as before.*

Inuyasha turned, and started twoards Kagome.

Miroku stared down at her with an almost unreadable expression. He hated seeing her so weak, so hurt. It didn’t suit her and it made his spirit ache.
“We’ll get him back, Sango. Eventually we will.” It was the only condolence he could offer. Reaching for the arms wrapped around his knees he grasped her hands and used them to gently pull her to her feet.

*I looked up at him with hopeful eyes.
I hope so.
I stood up.*
Maybe we should go back to Kaede's village, rest up a bit so we can go on a hunt for Naraku in the morning....


[Alright guys...there is one problem with this scene...we don't have a Naraku. So if anyone knows one PLEASE give him the url to the guild. Or at least a Kagura or Kanna]

"If that is what you would like to do," he merely commented, though not necessarily in agreement.

(I'm not acquainted with any Narakus or other villains as far as I know. I'll ask around for us.)

*Kirara then hopped into my arms and I started to walk toward the village. I looked back at Miroku and saw that he didn't look to supportive.
I wonder what's on his mind.*
Miroku?
*I didn't want to say much, so I looked back at my path and continued to walk, wondering if anyone would follow me.*

[Thank's Miroku! I'll look too...Oh $#!t I forgot!!!! We don't have a Kaede either...d@mn it! If we could look for some of those too that would be nice. smile Maybe we should assign people to look for other people?]

Miroku looked up at her call, but already saw her walking away. Knowing her timid behavior he assumed that she probably wanted company. So he followed, as if he hadn’t planned on it anyway. He’d feel too uncomfortable to do much else knowing she was out sulking.

(Kaede seems like it would be a harder position to fill. sweatdrop If worse comes to worse I suppose I could fill in a few spots, if that's alright of course. And I can't say I've had much experience in bring an old woman with an eye patch.)

*I waited for you to catch up, instead of going on without you and then when you did I rested my head on your shoulder.*

*I pulled Kirara closer to me and look down toward her sadly. She let out a gentle meow and looked up toward me, nuzzling her head against my chin.*

[Yea it would....I do think that some people might have to double up, but I think that all depends on who's who. I know I got a Kikyo so maybe she could be Kaede too since they are sisters and don't associate much. I guess we have to go by that. However if we find someone to fill the role then no doubling up, I know that's confusing, but it's all we can do until we have everyone. Example: I play as Sango and Kirara. I think you get the drift although I think that I should play Kirara because she's my cat and doesn't talk! Lol. By the way guys, I talked to Kagome and she should be coming back soon. Don't worry Inuyasha! smile ]

"Don't mention it." He replied solemnly. Placing a hand on her lower back he gently encouraged her to start walking again.

(Ah, I see. So you may only double up with characters associated with your own. I suppose then I could play as either Hachi or Mushin-sama if we really get that desperate.)

*I started walking, as Miroku had suggested with his hand. Suddenly there it was, that feeling.*
A demonic aura!
*I looked back at Miroku and the others.
Not now damn it!!!!*

[Sorry, but I needed to spare time before I could get the Kaede or Naraku here. Exactly you got the point Miroku!!! We should probably make a separate forum for doubles.]

Kagome slowly picked up her bag and began to follow Sango and Miroku.
"You coming Inuyasha?" She asked as she walked by him.
[[Sorry I woulda put more, but I'm in a hurry. I'll fix it later if I can get on again. And this is better than nothing right?]]

Inuyasha turned and followed Kagome, "Yeah, I'm coming. And what took you so long to get back!?!"  

[Kohaku-Yokai Taijiya]

[[Hey I could fill a couple spots if we need them... So yeah, just let me know...]]

Kohaku stood in a small clearing and clutched his head in pain. He moaned and fell to his knees. The pain surging through his head was nearly unbearable. "NO!" He yelled in pain. "Stop it... NO! I don't want to remember!" he groaned.

[[But um yeah. I love playing bad guys so tell me someone to be and I'll be it. xDD]]

*My head shot up as I heard Kohaku's grumbles.*

*I turned around.*

*I looked at everyone else, trying to see if anyone heard him to.*

[I know that's cheap, but I'm tired....By the way, thank you for the distraction Kohaku. smile Have I mentioned that you're awesome?!?! Lol. biggrin ]
