A Darknut stood within the doorway to Lord Arcana's bedchamber. Lord Arcana himself was on the other side of the room, standing before a full length mirror as he wrapped his cape around himself, fastening it to his spiked, metal, shoulder guards. "So Balthier," Lord Arcana spoke, turning toward the Darknut, "both of our guests have finally awoken then? Alright, you are dismissed." The Darknut bowed before turning around and leaving.

"Hhmm, I wonder if that wench will finally start revealing a few more details of her brilliant plan to conquer Hyrule. Only one way to find out, if they can find their way to the dining hall that is." Lord Arcana chuckled to himself as he left his room and headed to the dining hall, sitting down to the food laid out before him.

The sun beating down upon Gerik was quite comfortable, and the birds singing their morning songs only helped Gerik to remain asleep. When a shadow was cast over him, Gerik finally began to stir. Without opening his eyes, he stretched out his arms and rubbed his neck to get the kinks out. Slowly, his eyelids opened and he saw Silvia standing over him. "Huh," Gerik said, blinking his eyes several times to make sure he wasn't seeing things, "Silvia, what are you doing in the Lost Woods?" The sliest of smiles crossed his face as he said this.

Navi was caught by surprise at the voice that came out of nowhere. She hadn't sensed anyone approaching, and it was rare anyone snuck up on her. The voice had come from her right, but when Navi turned to look she saw no one standing there. There was no one even remotely close to her in any direction, meaning the voice had come from the shadows themselves. 'A shadow warrior,' Navi thought to herself. Whether it was good or bad Navi had no way of knowing, but at any rate her cover seemed to have been blown.

"Alright shadow warrior," Navi spoke, readying herself for battle if need be, "show yourself."

Victoria ran over to the bed and jumped up into it, landing right onto Vincent's back. She then looked up at her mother with bright eyes and a wide smile. "You ain't doing nothing witout me," she said happily.

And as he was considering to move on he felt the claws ensnare his muscled arm and dig into his arm. He looked over and saw those reptilian features in Val Asheus' face. Whatever she was...she looked a little familiar. Maybe it was just his imagination. Either way. Moving on or holding onto his wife-Val Asheus would not be the woman, thing, he entrusted his heart to. He had to be careful with that one.

She was out for blood, possibly his blood. "I don't have much of a choice here now do I?" he gave her a somewhat friendly, but arrogant smirk. It seemed to be a trait he and his son actually shared.

"It would seem you have made yourself very at home in my father's castle. Thinking of becoming the Mrs.? Should I start calling you Mom?" He already had two, one more wouldn't matter. He asked as he thought he found the dining room. The food smelt good enough. "Morning Father." He seemed to have beat them there.

Silvia watched him and gave a slight chuckle. "You know perfectly well you're not in the Lost Woods anymore." She didn't stand back, and instead sat back, crouched down and sat down beside him. "A lot has happened while you were gone you know? The Gerudo have become our allies. I've obviously gotten a new look," she smirked referring to the new style of tops. "And...you grew up," she playfully hit him, "who said you could do that without me? As the Sheik as demand an explanation!"

She wasn't avoiding the topic of Gan...just strategically waiting for him to broach the subject...for now anyway. There was no need to rush things. "Oh, and...good morning." She smiled.

((I just wanna say, ‘It was you.’ from the pokemon soundtrack started playing when I went to type this post…wonder what it‘s trying to say?))
Gan was more than a little surprised to see Sieg in his room. Then again...hadn't Aivlis set up the guest arrangements? He inwardly sighed, but outwardly smiled. "Didn't mean to intrude this is…my…room..." Gan couldn't believe it. He stared into Sieg's eyes for a moment or so. He knew those eyes. The Gerudo Prince made his way into the room, somewhat forcing Sieg back and closing the door behind him.

"Who are you? Why do you have Silvia's gaze? That scarlet color doesn't mask the shape. You both have the oval shape that dips in," why didn't he see it before? The mask? Silvia may have had the sapphire of her Hylian mother, but Gan knew she had the shape of her father's eyes. And so did this Sieg. His gaze having never left Sieg's gaze, "you have Silvain's eyes. Who are you?"

"No fun," Aivlis mumbled as she smirked. She relocated herself so the woman could see her emerge from the shadows. Hopefully she'd relax a little. "You seem familiar," Aivlis looked the woman over and her smirk widened a bit. Oh yes, she was very familiar. "I would imagine there are certain people you wish to avoid. I have no reason for revealing you identity to them. So long as you are no threat to my Sheik." Navi took a few steps forward. No use showing her hands, this woman new of the Lis Noka, meaning she knew Aivlis didn't need physical weapons.

"Welcome back to the plane of Hyrule. And here I thought you had left for good," she let her gaze meet the woman's, "good to see you. Navi."

Dilila gently smiled at Vincent before little Victoria came crashing down on him and Dilila began to chuckle. "Why of course not little Vicky," she smiled and poked her daughter's nose. "Do you want to go visit Uncle Gan and Lady Sheik today?" Dilila knew she would have to talk with Gan about Vincent and the sooner the easier to quell his impending temper. "After we all eat breakfast together. Right Vince?" She leaned back from him so she could look at his face better.

"Oh, your father is a very handesome man. Very handesome. But, I kinda like the cut of your meat better than his," Val smirked back at him. "And why shouldn't I take advantage of what he has to offer? Its not everyday someone like me is treated as such. I usually have to look after my own accord."

Valasheus stopped for a moment. Mom. That word hung in the air and stabbed her in the heart. If it wasn't for Ganondorf or Link she would still have her precious baby. "No... you shan't."

Valsheus let go of Ganondorf and made her way down to the Arcana end of the table. She sat down on his left, grabbing a fruit as she took her seat. "Good morning Arcana, dear. How're you this morning? Ready to do my bidding without backtalking?"

"Oh, its your room," Sheik said as he walked back and turned around. "I didn't know. I guess that's why you don't have a shirt on. Please, spare me the details why you weren't in this room." Shik went over and grabbed his turban. "I'm Sieg... of course."

Sheik turned to look at Gan. "But I'm sure since you don't buy that since before, you know that I have a little secret. Well, that's just a secert between Silvia and I for the moment." Sheik mulled over the name Silvian in his mind. Gan knew more than Sheik thought he did. "Why does it bother you so much Gan? Why does it bother you that I share something in common with Silvia? I can see it in your eyes."

Sheik stared at him in the eyes, "I'm not keeping anything from you on purpose. I merely do not know if and when Silvia wants you to know."

Vincent was caught off gaurd by little Victoria. He was going to get used to that sooner or later. His lips curved to a small smile. "Vicky, your part of our company, we wouldn't leave you." Vincent looked over to Dilila. Great... Gan after breakfast .Oh well, that meant Vincent would be fueled up for wahatever might be thrown his way.

"Sure Dilly, we can do that," Vincent agreed as combed through his hair. He started to move out of the bed. "I want a shower first before we go. I'll be out in a jiffy." He stepped out of bed and went to his bathroom to shower. He let the warm water run over his body. Day two... better than one, so to speak.

Lord Arcana heard their voices from the hallway. Apparently the two of them had run into each other. Lord Arcana managed a couple more forkfuls of egg before Valasheus and Ganon finally appeared in the doorway to the dining room. Lord Arcana was taken aback. Ganon had said 'morning' to him. He even called him 'father,' and this time there was no venom, no underlying nastiness behind the word. There certainly wasn't love behind it either, but it was neutral, an understanding. Lord Arcana inwardly chuckled. Most families with problems never achieve what they had so far, and they did it in just one night. "Son," Arcana responded back, nodding his head at him as he did so.

Valasheus had let go of Ganon and made her way over, sitting on Arcana's left. "Heh," Lord Arcana smirked, "yeah, right, no backtalking. You can dream can't you?" The nerve of this woman. Did she honestly expect him to submit unconditionally to anything she wanted? No, of course she didn't. She was smarter than that, and Arcana knew that.

After taking another bite of egg and swallowing, Arcana then said, "Speaking of bidding though, what is part 1 of your brilliant plan? You did make mention about my grandson."

"I'm not?" Gerik replied with a smirk. "Guess that would explain the lack of trees. And here I just thought that I had slept so long the Lost Woods had been settled." Silvia had sat down next to him, laughing, and smirking. No matter how much she had grown, no matter how many responsibilities she now had, Gerik could still bring that inner child of hers out. That was definitely evident as she hit him in the arm.

"Well, some may question the fact that I actually 'grew-up,'" and with that Gerik started to chuckle. "But hey, you went and grew-up without me. Who said you could do that? And now you're the Sheik. You do realize now that this means I won't listen to you right? If Impa couldn't reign me in, you certainly won't."

Navi watched as the shadow warrior materialized before her. It took all of a second to recognize the shadow's appearance as belonging to that of Silvia. Navi had heard that the Sheikah had a ritual in which it was possible to achieve a shadow warrior, but she had not known such a ritual had taken place. Then again, there were still other ways to create them. Ganon had made one of Link after all. Considering the strange happenings in Hyrule, Navi wasn't ready to trust her just her.

"I'm as much a threat to Silvia as you are," Navi responded. It was a strategic answer. That didn't mean she'd get any conclusive answers from it, but it was worth a try. Navi then watched as the shadow warrior stared her right in the eyes. She then froze as her name was said. The warrior knew who she was. Her cover was blown. Navi knew there was no point in denying it, so she simply said, "How do you know who I am?"

"Yay!" Victoria yelled in glee. She jumped off the bed excitedly. "I want to go see them now. Can't we go now?"

Well now it seemed as if Ganondorf had struck some sort of nerve with the woman. He couldn't call her mother? Everything up to that point seemed civil enough. He could file that nice little piece of information away for later. His father also seemed a little surprise-for lack of a better term- at how Ganondorf greeted him. What? Was he the only one who understood the concept of parents? It was a sad day in Hyrule if he was. And his father responded to him in the same manner. He didn't hate the man...anymore...though he did wonder why. All this thinking....he really needed to look into running on emotion again. Things were simpler if nothing else.

Since the she-witch sat to his father's left, Ganondorf presumed it meant he was supposed to sit to the right. He wasn't sure how his father felt about that. Oh well. So he took his seat and started putting food on a plate. Why wait to be offered food? Lord Arcana hadn't waited to eat. As he listened to his father he finished putting food on his plate, but didn't start eating yet.

"I too am rather curious as to how you plan on gaining my son's favor. He has no ambition for power as with the rest of our line. His wants are far more simple, but his ambition for those simple wants is fierce," Ganondorf stabbed some food with his fork, "I doubt you'll be able to persuade him."

Silvia rolled her eyes at him. "Lady Impa may have reigned for a time, but she was never a Sheik. I am proud to take over my father's place." Her eyes were cast straight ahead as she made her statement. There was no sense of hurt or sadness that had once been there when she spoke of taking her father's place, instead there was pride and understanding. Then she returned to her lightened mood, "I guess I can't expect you to listen to me. After all, Impa is way scarier looking than I am."

She debated with herself for something more to say. "You still seem to be the same person I knew. Same on the inside even if not on the outside Gerick. And that's makes me happy. All this time I was afraid you'd come back different. But you didn't," she looked over to him with a smile. "I can't say that I can give you the same relief."

“There is nothing Silvia hides form me," Gan sad he voice assured rather than arrogant or angry. "But I will not ask you again. You can keep the secret for Silvia. I was exactly where I told you I would be when we met in the forest. There, no details." He never took his gaze form this man, his body tense.

"I don't care whose eyes you go flaunting around, I don't care that you have something in common with Silvia. I just don't want to see her hurt again," his fist clutched tight as he recounted the memory, "a long time ago someone disguised themselves as Silvain. It cause Silvia so much pain she lost control of her powers. She shed her own blood to hide the inner pain. I can't...I can't see her go through that again. Your eyes are what made her pass out yesterday I'm sure of it."

Gan kept his gaze and his voice steady though it took a lot of control. "I don't know what your intentions are, but I'm asking you. Don't hurt her. If you do I will not hesitate to hunt you down." After what Gan put her through in their first life he refused to allow any other man to hurt Silvia.

Aivlis couldn't help but chuckle. This was the kind of fun she had been missing. Time to guess what was running through Navi's mind. Aivlis didn't have the powers Illiam did, so guesses was as good as she was going to get. "My dear, breathing free air you are more of a willing threat to my Sheik than I could ever be. I'm a Lis Noka, bound to her, tied to her very life force. I could, nor would I ever become a threat to her beyond the strain our bond puts on her. You on the other hand I'm not sure about."

Aivlis looked her over, she didn't trust Aivlis at all. That was fine with her. "How do I know?" She crossed one leg over the other and began to float on the air as if an invisible chair had appeared for her. "Well before time was reset and the evil of the Gerudo King stopped my Sheik helped a young boy on his way to manhood. This boy had a guardian with him. And you my dear have her very same Aura. Oh yes, I was alive and around then as well. Assisting my Sheik to become stronger. You never notice my presence did you?"

Her gaze softened as she watched the surprise in Vincent's eyes and the small exchange between father and daughter. He would get those fatherly instincts soon. She hoped anyway. King Ganondorf hadn't proved a useful father, but Gan had been a very good uncle. So Dilila held hope for the man she loved. "Get your shower."

She now gave Victoria all of her attention and chuckled, "No Vicky we can't go to see them now. Be a good girl and wait for Daddy to get out of the shower. Then we'll have breakfast. And then you can visit. You know Uncle Gan will be happy to see us whenever we go." Dilila stood from the bed and stretched a little. "Do you want to do morning training with Mommy today?"

Valasheus watched the both of them exchange their greetings. They seemed to be getting along well enough. But they did bring a good point. If she wanted the set, she needed the young one and he was going to prove rather difficult to sway onto their side. But as she sunk her fangs into the fruit to take away a chunk, something hit her. An idea.

"Boys, boys, easy, we'll get young Gan onto our side somehow. It will take a little time and a little creative thought but, we can," she said. She began to take nothing but meats onto her plate: bacon, hams, and sausages. "Gan cares for her little lovely Sheikah. It just so happens I orchestrated another Sheikah to go visit her. I gave this all some thought, you know.

"Her brother should have met up with him by now. And those two are going to form a nice little relationship. If the older Shiekah would to try something that would hurt Gan's fair Silvia... what extent would he go to, to even get back at him?" She turned to Ganondorf. "But that isn't what I'm counting on. I'm counting on," she turned to Arcana. "For your troops to make a statement first."

So many questions arose in Sheik's mind as he heard Gan out. But he kept his nerve, he'd just ask Silvia later. Assuming they would get a chance to themselves to speak to one another. "I don't flaunt my eyes, Gan. They were given to me by blood and I'm sorry that they appear cursed to you or Silvia," he took a deep sigh. "I don't ever want to hurt Silvia. And forgive me for the surprise I might've given her when we first met."

"My only intention is to get to know Silvia, Gan, that is all," Sheik stated. "I didn't come her so I could challenge her to become the Sheik or to attempt a coup on the royal family or anything like that. I came because I wanted to know who Silvia was and become a part of her life."

"And if I do something, I'm sure I can count on you to take care of her," he softly said. "But I doubt that I'd have any interest other than hers and mine that I'm going to worry about."

Vincent pulled over his shirt and grabbed his coat. He walked out of the bathroom and over heard Dilila. He smiled, "Can I watch?" Now that was a nice thought, Dilila 'training'. She could call it all she wanted but it'd bea show for Vincent.

He went over to sit down beside the two girls, "Are we going to have breakfast first or are you going to show me how a Gerudo warrior does things."

Ganon came and sat at Arcana's right. It occurred to Lord Arcana that this is what most father's would want; their son sitting at their side, but not just at their side, but sitting there as their right hand man. It then occurred to Arcana that Valasheus might have just played a simple little mind game. She had sat to his left, meaning that Arcana was at her right. It could have been pure coincidence, but Valasheus had so far not missed an opportunity to make it known she was the head of this little operation, so this probably was no different. Valasheus was certainly a sly one.

Lord Arcana continued to eat as Valasheus started explaining her plan involving Gan, and started to grow ill. He had already known this wench had no honor or morals whatsoever, but to be manipulating family the way she was was a despicable act indeed. Lord Arcana made sure to show no outward signs of his disgust with her plan. It was still too early to be showing any signs of true dissension. Apparently there was more to her plan though. "And what is the target that my troops will be making their statement at?" he asked.

Gerik laughed. "Heh, Impa is scary enough to send an entire pack of Wolfoes running with their tails between their legs just by looking at them. Still never stopped me though."

Silvia paused, and seemed to be debating what to say next. Gerik just smirked when she said what she did. "Was there really any doubt that I wouldn't come back the same? And don't say things like that. You're still the same, more or less. Sure, as Sheik you have more duties and stresses, but deep inside still rests that same little girl I knew. I imagine that things haven't been easy since I left, but as we've sat here talking I've noticed that little girl inside coming out more and more."

Gerik paused, then turned to face her. "The only real change I see in you is that you haven't been following the same philosophy I've been. Yes, you have all these new responsibilities and such, but that's no reason not to live life to its fullest. You can't be serious all the time. You've got to let that little girl inside come out and play once in awhile. Now that I'm back though, that shouldn't be a problem.

Well, the shadow warrior knew full well of the term Lis Noka. Only the Sheikah and beings such as herself would've known of such things. Of course it wasn't impossible that others could've learned the info, but Navi was more inclined to trust this shadow warrior now. This also meant that the ritual had been performed, and if tradition was kept Navi now knew the shadow's name. "My point exactly Aivlis; I'm no threat to Silvia at all."

Navi was shocked. Aivlis had existed even back then. Bound in the form of a fairy, Navi didn't have access to her full range of powers and abilities. As such she never would've realized unless she had seen Aivlis herself. Thinking back, however, Navi began to remember. Silvia had had a marking upon her back, and Illiam on his chest. Did that mean that the ritual had been performed twice? "Unfortunately, at that time I was restricted in exactly what I could do upon this plane. Looking back though, the clues are making sense."

Victoria pouted. "Aw, but I want to go see them now." Victoria was about to plead with her mother, but then her spirits rised when she asked if she wanted to do training. With a big smile Victoria said, "Ok, let's go train." Victoria ran over to her mother, grabbed her hand and then started to pull her so they could go do the training.

( eek Damn Vincent took a shower fast. rofl )

"It won't work," Ganondorf took to eating. Lifting his food to his mouth and finished chewing before speaking again. "His troops should be your best bet if that's all you have." He continued eating, taking few sips of a drink he had poured for himself. He vividly remembered the very lengths his son would go to when protecting his young Sheikah.

"Gan takes more after his mother than he does me, though his shares my good looks," she continued eating, "he may seem rash, but his a meticulous planner. He doesn't care too much for vengeance. If her 'brother' were to hurt her my son wouldn't seek revenge if he though it would make things worse." He had learned much about his son as he watched him grow over the years. He had grown into a true man...no a true Gerudo. Nasata would've been proud.

He glanced up from his plate. "So if you're done dreaming about gaining his favor." He leaned back, having finished his meal and smirked, "you would do better to focus your plotting with Lord Arcana. He seems to be doing well and is at least willing to..." manipulate you as you do him, "...hear out your plans with his army." He was very interested in how this woman would take the news.

Silvia smirked a bit as she looked at him and looked away, "You know I really expected you to be more observant. I have changed Gerick," she heled her hand out in front of her, "I'm far stronger and way more at peace. I don't worry as much anymore. I'm happier now. I used to worry and fret and i always felt so guilty over things that...well it was stupid to feel guilty for." She leaned back a bit. "You're probably right about one thing. I act like a kid again when it's me and you. You and Illiam have always made me stop the serious side and have fun."

She looked towards the Shadow Temple. "Aivlis, you've seen her right? She's fully grown now. As real as I could make her and with her own thoughts and personality. As for that inner child," her smile turned a tad wider, "She does come out and play." Silvia stood up and stretched a little, she usually sat around all day when she guarded the Princess. So for now she wanted to stand for a little while.

"Gerick," she tured her fae to his, though her face was expressionless, he probably knew her well enough to know she was ready to gauage his reaction and was looking into his eyes, trying to read them, "What is your opinion on Gan?"

Gan's entire body seemed to relax as he released a sigh. He didn't see an false pretenses. No that he was an expert, but he thought he was pretty good. He smirked, he didn't even really feel jealous. Whatever this guy wanted with Silvia-he wasn't romantically interested in her. Now Gan had to clarify a few things. he wasn't a complete a** all the time. And he felt a little guilty for harassing this man based on one physical trait.

"No forgiveness needed for your eyes Sieg. I am the last person in Hyrule who should judge other by appearance," he walked over to the dresser and opened it pulling out a fresh pair of pants and a desert vest. "I jumped the bow. You can't control your blood after all. You are not a curse to Silvia...she talked to you last night and then she seemed okay. Happy even."

Gan remembered how at peace she had seemed last night. "So, assuming you're telling me the truth, I hope you stay a while. All Sheikah should know about the lineiage of their Sheik. So if you have Silvain's eyes by blood...I'm happy Silvia has another living family member." He turned and smiled at Sieg, "have fun. And if you like this room I'll clear my stuff out for you. I'm never really in here anyway."

Aivlis smirked as she heard her name from Navi's mouth. "Do not fret too much about whether or not you knew of me. I was weaker then, Silvia was much weaker in her powers. Not like now. I have a full body now and permission to do with it what I want, though I am still very limited. I bet you're very curious about how I am possible though? That Shadow being Ganondorf made was a very pathetic attempt at a Lis Noka don't you think?"

She crossed her other leg over, shifting, "You're probably trying to figure out why Illiam and Silvia both have markings?" She had by now examined Navi as best she could. Whatever reason she was there it didn't bode well, though Navi herself was not the threat. "There was only one ceremony. It was a very unique ceremony and has been the only one of it's kind. A double marking. Both were marked by the Goddess, both given powers, though of different natures. Both too young to realize what forbidden ritual they had partaken in.

"Navi, Guardian of the Goddess' What brings you here? Why are you back on Hyrule?"

Dilila smiled at Victoria and then looked over to Vincent. "We train and then we eat." She stood up and allowed Victoria to pull her a little ways before she and stopped her. "We need our swords little one," she retrieved her sables and also grabbed a smaller pair that belong to Victoria. They had placed them their before bed out of habit. "Let's go,' she took Victoria's hand and winked a Vincent as the headed outside.

Valsheus morning cigarette went down to the filter as she heard Ganondorf tell her that her plan wasn't good enough to turn his boy onto their side. But other than that, not much else was shown on the outside. She calmly took a breath and left the butt on a platter near her. She calmly closed her eyes as she went looking for a replacement. "Ganondorf, you say it doesn't work. Well," she looked up to him. "We will find something will work then. Unless, of course, your quite okay knowing that your son may meet his maker in our little skrimage."

She sighed, bored. "Arcana," she began. And then she pulled that 180. "Dearie," she started with her eyes batting up at the man. "I was thinking that a good point of interest for us to make our one and only statment is... the castle market." She gave him a sly smile, "Think your troops can handle such a request? Or are they like their commander and a touch scared to be so bold?"

Valasheus turned to Ganondorf, "Unless you have an opinion you'd like to share with me."

"Gan, I do plan to stay for a while," Sheik said, calmly. It wasnt like Sheik had anywhere else left to go. Being with Silvia was all that he wanted to shoot for and that one day he got into Hyrule he already recieved more than he had previously thought. Sheik watched Gan seak and grab some clothing. Finally the man was going to put something on.

Not that what he got seemed like it would be modest. "Gan, I cannot ask for you to give up your room," he started. "But seeing as how you weren't in the night before... and what you just said, I'll gladly take it. Spare anymore details on why you don't need it. It'd be nice to have a room to myself for once. I won't rush you on removing your items," Sheik sat down on the bed. "What's this about you should be the last person to judge someone by looks alone?"

Vincent smirked and followed them outside. He leaned close to Dilila and whispered, "Daddy might like watching you train." He pulled back, still with that overly confident smirk. And then it went away as he a good look at the sabres Dilila and Victoria were using. Now, with Dilila he was okay with, Victoria on the other hand...

"Wait, our daughter uses real swords for practice? What if she gets hurt or something? She's only so old... using real, sharp, pointy swords doesn't sound like a good idea."

If what Ganon said about Gan was true, then Lord Arcana felt pride welling up inside for his grandson. It sounded like his grandson had turned into a fine man, and would not fall for such easy tricks. As pleasurable as revenge could be, if done incorrectly it very well could make things much worse for oneself, as what would happen if he fell for Valasheus' ploy.

Arcana then inwardly grumbled as Valasheus spoke to him. She had nerve, and definitely wasn't afraid of death. That was good, for neither was he. "Valasheus," Arcana began mimiking the way Valasheus had done to him, "you conniving snake," and with that Arcana grinned wickidly, "do you really expect such paltry tricks to work in getting me to do your bidding? Do you really expect to get me to do what you want by calling me a coward if I refuse? I'm disappointed. I thought you were much more clever than that."

Lord Arcana took a drink from his goblet before continuing. "Of course, a direct assault on Hyrule Market would send a clear message and deal a severe blow. To bad it's not a feasible feat, at least not an easy feat. That is, of course, unless you have a way to teleport my entire army to the Market. Otherwise, the only other way would be to march there, during which someone would surely spot us and alert Hyrule Castle. Their defenses would be raised and army readied. Rather than a quick and decisive victory, we'd have a long siege. Now, my army is perfectly capable of performing a siege, but something tells me your plan involves something more immediate."

Gerik faced Silvia and shrugged. "Hey, how observant can one person be? I only returned yesterday, and even then I didn't get to see a whole lot of you. Give me time, and I'm sure I'll notice. Of course, I do expect you to have gotten stronger. If you're still the same as when I left or even weaker, I'd be quite disappointed." Gerik flashed her a wide grin. "We'll have to duel sometime. I'm glad to hear you've stopped that little habit of feeling guilty over things you shouldn't have though. That was always something I told you to work on."

Silvia was now talking about Aivlis. For one moment, Gerik wondered if Aivlis was a representation of that inner child of Silvia's. He chuckled slightly, but quickly collected himself. "So I guess that means Aivlis is like a visual representation of your powers then huh? Hhmm, maybe I don't want to duel you after all."

Gerik laughed again, but now watched as Silvia looked directly at him, staring directly into his eyes, her expression nonexistent. Gerik had seen this look before. It meant something either serious or important was about to be asked, and she was not only going to listen to his words, but read his expression as well. His opinion about Gan? Gerik just stared her straight back into the eyes and smirked.

"He's an arrogant son-of-a-b***h," Gerik laughed. "Then again, I'm sure that's everybody's first impression of him. Well, he's the son of Ganondorf, I've figured out that much. Forget the How's and Why's of that possibility, but if you and Illiam and even Impa I'm assuming have no problem with him, then I guess he's okay. That still doesn't mean I trust him yet, and if he crosses the line he's as good as dead. Truth be told, I see a lot of similarities between me and him," and at that Gerik's smirk grew wider, "so that could either be a good thing or a bad thing.

"A pathetic attempt at a Lis Noka indeed," Navi replied, her defenses lowering slightly, yet still remaining alert. "Of course, in terms of shadow warriors, nothing compares to a Lis Noka. As far as simple shadow warriors go, it certainly did give Link a run for his money." Navi started to smile as she began to reminisce, but quickly brought herself back to the here and now.

It was quite obvious from the beginning that Aivlis had been examining her as she had been doing to Aivlis. As she listened to Aivlis tell her about the ritual, she wondered what final opinion she had determined. It must have been a good one if she was divulging this information to her. "Yeah, I had never heard of the ritual bestowing the gift on two people at one time before. But it's a forbidden ritual huh? That I did not know. I simply thought it was a lost one."

And here it came, the question Navi had been expecting Aivlis to ask since the beginning. Should she divulge such information. Until Navi knew more exactly what was occurring, letting as few people as possible know about it seemed the wisest decision. "Who says I need a reason to be back?"

Now outside, Victoria grabbed her pair of swords and then took up position opposite her mother. She listened to Vincent objecting to her using the swords, turned to look at him, and said, "Don't worry, I won't hurt mommy."

The nerve of this woman. Ganondorf respected it and yet found it annoying all the same. He finished eating the breakfast he had gotten for himself and put his fork down and grabbed a glass, pouring liquid from the closest pitcher. He put the pitcher back and took a drink from the glass and drained it in one go. Gan...die. Gan had already done that once before and Ganondorf wasn't yet sure how he felt about a repeat.

"A siege huh?" Ganondorf sat back in his chair, "that may have worked at one time. When I took over Hyrule that’s how I did it. I did have the Triforce of power then, but I couldn’t' use it as well as I can now. There were a few other differences between then and now. The Hero of Time was not fully grown or properly trained back then and Zelda was a helpless girl, requiring her body guard Impa to protect her. I had already destroyed the Sheikah people. What was left of them were scattered and left hiding far from Hyrule." Ganondorf readjusted in his seat.

"Sylvain the Sheik had died and the Young Sheik was a toddler. Now, Silvia is the Sheik. Strong, not to her prime yet, but very powerful...blessed even," he smirked not sure if the other two would understand what he meant. "Now the Sheikah who are returning from exile will fight under her. The Gerudo barely remember me and will remain loyal to my son Gan. The Hylian army will of course be lead most likely by the Hero himself. Who knows who else might join in the fray. Quick or drawn out you are going to have a war on your hands, This war isn't going to be as easy as either of you feel. The only elements in our favor are surprise and the Triforce of Power."

Stronger...Gerick probably didn't expect nor fully comprehend what she meant. It was’t just skills or abilities. Not just her cursed blessing. She was stronger now, and more determined. Finally becoming the Sheik her father would have wanted her to be. Ailvlis was in a way the physical representation, but not exactly. That could all be explained later though, Silvia wanted to know one thing more than the rest. And she watched his reaction. He laughed-he usually did. Gerick was more care-free than anyone she had ever met. At least on the outside.

Silvia's expression softened and she allowed relief to filter into her expression. "Yes, he is the son of Ganondorf, though he takes no pride in it. I'm glad you don't instantly hate him. I know how he can get sometimes. Especially when he's jealous." She turned her gaze to the surrounding area. "It seems he gave you the same routine as everybody else. I remember when I first met him. I couldn't stand to be in the same room with him for more than a few minutes." Her tone had changed. There was annoyance, and amusement now.

"What was even more frustrating was the fact he was usually right. Gan rarely boasts unless he's confident he can back it up. More often than not he can and does. I used to get so infuriated at him no matter what he did." Her lips widened into a smile as she remembered, "I still do sometimes. Yesterday...I should explain something." Now came the part Silvia wasn't sure about.

"Gan was rude yesterday and he did something that was inappropriate at the time, I did chastise him for it," how to say what she wanted to say. Silvia mulled it over, "I...Gan and I...we..." she took a deep breath and told herself to just say it. It shouldn't be this hard to tell him. "Are courting." That was a bit of an understatement, but it was the only word she could think of.

"Well, if you don't mind me changing," Gan just pulled the vest over and began switching to the new pants. He'd take a shower later. "I can have everything moved out of here by tonight. I don't really have a lot of belongings in here. Just my clothes and probably some rupee stashed about." He tied the belt about his pants and pulled is boots up.

"You're a stranger to these lands. Basically there was a War. My father Ganondorf King of Evil tried to take over Hyrule. We have an unfortunate family resemblance. People, especially my people, would often assume I was just like him. Father's heir," Gan sighed as he shrugged, "but that's the past." Gan walked over to the dresser and pulled out all of his clothing, putting it into a pile. "No one really remembers him anymore. You don't need to worry about any details. There really aren't any. Silvia is still a maiden and will remain so for many years to come."

"The ritual was supposed to be forbidden to prevent any Sheikah from seeking it's power. However the Goddess did not follow the laws of mortals, so she performs the ritual for whomever is worthy. This was merely the first time two people were worthy I guess. Your guess on that matter may be better than mine really. It's not a concern of mine. At least it didn't used to be."

Aivlis' smirk remained, but her feet landed on the ground, now she stood at her full height as she cocked her head a little and watched Navi curiously. Nothing was betrayed in her look, it was simply amused, contemplative. But whether or not that was really how Aivlis felt, only the Lis Noka or her creator would be able to tell. Her hands rested on her hips as she took in a deep breath. "Who says you need a reason? You really as that to me? A Lis Noka? Navi, after I‘ve been so honest with you."

She took a step to the side, "You believe we are so different? My bonds are no different from yours. You purpose s to serve the Goddess' and protect Hyrule. I serve and Protect my Sheik. Unless you have been rewarded freedom you have a reason. The Goddess told you to do something. Something is off in Hyrule. I know not what, but that is why you are here correct?"

Dilila didn’t pay Vincent any mind at first as she gave Victoria her sabres when they reached the outside. She looked up to him with a little confusion. And then it dawned on her. The difference between Hylian standards and Gerudo standards. Before she could respond little Victoria gave her own response. Dilila chuckled and rubbed Victoria’s hair, “That’s right Victoria can’t hurt me yet.”

She turned her attention to Vincent. “She has been training with them for about a month now. She’s more skilled with the double handed sabres than most of the other children. I wouldn’t let her if I didn’t think she could. And her blades are sharper than training swords, but not as sharp as my usual ones. Just watch okay?” She turned and looked to Victoria, “You start little one.”

Valasheus looked at both Acrana and Gan. They were tough to crack, that as for sure. But where was the fun in the hunt without a little fight, right? And after all, that was what Valasheus was really there for. They both had good points, great even. But they didn't know what she was nor what she was capable of. She couldn't blame them, she did hide her true power from them. She didn't want for them to know quite yet. Not that it mattered, what could they do? To her, they were nothing more than mere termites.

"It seems you two believe that we're doing this by traditional means," Valsheus spoke. "You do bring up a good point Ganondorf, there will be plenty that we have to worry about. A select few might hinder our plans, but not stop them. Not while I'm around. They haven't dealt with the likes of me." Her lips curved to a wicked smile, "And your Triforce shall aid us well..."

"Arcana, I'm no snake," she said, looking over to her. "And I don't have a way to teleport them there. Not my foray... but I can get them over there quickly. And far more prepared than you can do for them. Remember, I did manage to break Ganondorf out of his prison," and she turned to Ganondorf, "One must wonder what I'm capable of..."

"There's no real rush Gan," Sheik said as he turned away. "And this is still your room, you can use it for whatever you may please." He smiled at the thought of finally having his own bed to sleep in. It sounded nice. "But if you can, then it would be best to move your things out as quickly as possible. If there isn't need to dally than there shouldnt be any."

Sheik did figure one thing when Gan mentioned it... he needed a few rupees. "I might need to get my hands on some currency," he said to himself, just audible.

Sheik turned to Gan as he talked about the past. There was a lot Sheik missed. A lot he didn't have much of any idea actually happened. And Silvia was still a maiden. That was a relief. That big brother in him felt more at ease. "Well, I can only hope to fit in with the rest of you all," he said. "I don't mean to be a thrid wheel, but this is the only place I can call a home after so many years now. And I guess we have a bit in common, we wear faces that belonged to someone else."

"Hurting mommy wasn't what I was afraid of," Vincent cooed to Victoria. He turned to Dilila as they began to prep themselves for their training session. He couldn't really beleive it at first. A deep feeling inside of him took over and made him realize that he was just a tad protective. Only a little. "Dil, still, they're real weapons... what if something happens, Goddesses forbid."

Vincent sighed, "She's better than the other children?" A little pride began to build up, slightly centered around a roll of hurt, knowing that he missed that. "Its only natural that she is, she is my daughter after all."

Lord Arcana sat back in his chair and stared at the two of them. Valasheus certainly seemed to think that things were going to be as easy as pie, that Hyrule was practically on the verge of being hers. If that were true though, then why did she need Ganon and himself. Lord Arcana had to wonder if she was as sure as she actually beleived. As for Ganon, his defeat seemed to have been a good thing. He's more realistic about things now.

Not only that, but it seemed some of Arcana's intelligence had passed on to his son. A siege of course wasn't the best way to go either, just the only option given Valasheu's plans. Lord Arcana's troops were fully prepared for combat, but he had had other plans for Hyrule before these two had literally showed up on his doorstep. It wouldn't have been as quick or as flashy as Valasheus wanted, but Arcana was certain it would've gotten the job done. He wouldn't tell either of those two those plans of course. He did need an out, of course, if things went awry.

"My son has a point," Arcana finally said. "Surprise is our best advantage at the moment. All it'll take is one critical blow to cripple them, at which point we can then finish them off, within a timely fashion of course." Lord Arcana knew that crippling an enemy wasn't enough. You had to utterly destroy it, and as soon as possible as well. Otherwise those that remained would gather strength and before you knew it you'd be the one toppled. Lord Arcana turned toward his son. Ganon had obviously learned that lesson the hard way.

Lord Arcana did have to wonder about Valasheus' abilities. She was certainly no normal person. That was evident in her features alone. What tricks she had up her sleeves only she knew, but that was fine as Arcana had his own as well. It did annoy Arcana how superior she beleived herself to be to him, however. He just smiled though, knowing her arrogance would lead to her downfall. "Just so long as you can get them there and we get to maintain our element of surprise, then that's all that matters," Arcana responded to her almost in a brush off type manner.

Gerik watched as Silvia's expression softened and was glad. He didn't like it when she was all serious. It didn't suit her. Plus, she looked better with a smile. "Of course I don't instantly hate him," Gerik said with a sly grin. "I'm always willing to give anyone at least one chance. That doesn't mean I'll treat them with the utmost respect or won't be mean to them, but I won't hate them."

'Jealous?' Gerik thought. Did that mean Gan was jealous of him? That could be interesting, but Gerik decided to worry about that later. Gerik was having more fun at the moment chuckling as Silvia related her first meetings with Gan. It seemed that Gan didn't give off a very good impression no matter where he went.

Silvia's expression, which had been growing happier the more she talked about Gan and which Gerik had not missed, didn't exactly go away but she was becoming more serious again. As he listened to her, he could tell that she had something important to say, that she wanted to say, and probably something Gerik didn't want to hear. And then the hammer fell.

"Courting?" Gerik laughed heartedly as he started rolling across the roof unable to control himself. "Jeez Silvia, why don't you just say that you two are dating?" It wasn't as if Gerik hadn't expected this, hadn't prepared for it. When he left for the Lost Woods there was always the nagging suspicion that she would be taken while he was gone. Meeting Gan did nothing to change that. In fact it only intensified it, and when he had seen the two of them together it was as clear as daylight. At least Silvia had finally come right out and said it. It certainly didn't hurt any less, but he'd never let her know that.

So it had been the Goddess of Shadows that deemed two people worthy. Navi couldn't really think of why that would be. She was a Guardian of the Triforce, and as such had contact with the Goddesses Din, Nayru, and Farore. All the other deities she'd had little contact with, though she did have one theory. "Well, it is possible that the Goddess of Shadows wanted a guardian, or in this case guardians, for herself the way Din, Nayru, and Farore created us for the Triforce. While we protect the Triforce and the Sacred Realm, they're charged with protecting the physical realm."

Navi watched Aivlis land on her feet. She was watching Navi curiously, but other than that Navi could only guess what was going through the shadow's mind. Shadow warriors were masters of deception, and while a trained warrior could predict an opponent's movements based on their face, to try and do so with a shadow warrior would easily mean your death. Aivlis did have a point, however. She had been completely honest with her so far. Navi decided to relent, supposing it couldn't hurt to let the Lis Noka know.

"Fine," she said at last. "Yes, I am here for a reason. The Fairy Fountains are dying, and not just the small grottos but the Great Fairies as well. Their powers are being drained, and the magics they bestow upon Hyrule are on the verge of collapse."

Victoria smiled up at Vincent, unsure of what he was worried about then. Her mother was ready though, so Victoria turned her attention back to Dilila. "Okay mommy," she said. Victoria held her saber out before her and then charged at her mother.

He sat in silence for a bit. Thinking of a way to possibly contribute to this 'plan.' He knew their enemies well. But these two, didn't seem to know them at all. Not in particular anyway. One vital blow? They needed more than one blow. He took in a deep breath as he looked the other two over again. Val did have a good point. She did break him out of his prison and he really didn't know what else the woman could do. After all, she had at least enough physical strength to throw him against a wall.

She seemed to lack a certain finesse though, one his father somewhat had. Still neither seemed to really see the bigger picture. Time. He had rushed in last time and look what that got him? They had to plan it out more thoroughly. Look into who it would be best to attack and how. Somehow figure doubt how their enemy thought, how they worked. But how could they do that? These two weren't entirely listening to his comments and hints about their enemies. And then an idea struck him. It had been a ploy his own son had used last time and it would serve them well now.

"Spend time among them," he spoke up as he rubbed his chin with his palm. "If you want to figure out how to stop them, go among them. I'm the only one they'd recognize. Val Asheus might want to be careful around Silvia the current Sheik, other than that none of them would have a clue. I could stay here to not arouse suspicion." He dropped his hand down and crossed his arms. There was no guarantee that this was going to work, but it was a good shot to him. It also seemed like this might give them a better idea of their weaknesses. Whether it be their emotional weaknesses or their physical.

"Unless you're scared that you wouldn't be able to fool them." Whether or not it had been his plan to destroy his father, Gan had lived among Ganondorf's enemies and that was how Gan had killed them and how Gan had decimated Silvia's and Link's worlds. Granted he had used that information and strategy to get his father imprisoned. Maybe it could work to their advantage now.

The smiled remained after she told him, and that was good. honestly Silvia wasn't sure why she had been worried at all. He even started laughing at her use of terms. She couldn't help but chuckle at it as well. "Well dating isn't the same as courting you know. Courting is more serious and has a closer meaning to engaged, but not engaged." She looked back up to the sky for a bit before returning her gaze to him.

"We've been courting for a while now. There is about four years in age difference, but Gan likes to tell me I'm the older one. And he certainly acts younger sometimes. Especially if Illiam is around. Gan moved in when Illiam moved in with Malon. They kind of switched places I guess. It's nice to have other people around the house again."

She rested her chin on her knees, "You know you weren't the only one training in new areas. I actually trained with the Zoras and the Gerudo for a bit. Maybe we should spar sometime, I think I might even surprise you," she smiled and stuck out her tongue. Fighting wasn't the only kind of training she received in the valley, owed much to Nabooru's persistence.

The fast or slow paced dances that the Gerudos loved to perform for their ceremonies. Or just when they wanted to have a party. How she had practiced and practiced those dances, just so she could learn the sword style better. Silvia even had the outfit in her room. Tucked away in her drawer for rare occasions that she would be dancing. The top had been made specially for her so that it looped around her neck and shoulders, keeping her chest covered while revealing her back. She pulled her silver hair down her shoulder and began to fiddle with it. "What say you Gerick? Willing to challenge me?" She egged him with a tease.

Gan took in a deep breath as he looked around. All his clothes were out and he picked up the pile. He was listening to Sieg and figured he was trying to be polite, but he would prefer his own room. "Well, if you found any of the rupees around you can keep 'em. You seem a tad more strapped than I will ever be in my life." His tone was pleasant, not snobbish as most would expect considering his statement.

"You're a Sheikah by birth you already have that going for you," Gan thought about anything else he might have, no he had all of his belongings in his hands. Well what had been left in his room.

"There's enough wheels around here to make a few carriages, one more wouldn't hurt any. I think are similarities might end at faces. Sylvain was a great father from what I’ve heard and a greater leader. You should be honored to wear his face. Ganondorf on the other hand..." he just shrugged as he began to head out the room, opening the door, "are you going to come downstairs? I'm going to start breakfast as soon as I drop these clothes of in my room."

"Ever worried about their own realm and the one object that could destroy or protect both," Aivlis mused out loud as she began twiddling with a few strands of sable hair, "perhaps the Goddess of Shadows did want a few guardians to protect over this realm. Whatever the reason it seems to work well." She wasn't looking directly at Navi, but she still held her in the corner of her gaze. She was convinced by now Navi being here wasn't a small deal, "The other Goddess' seem to love waiting til tragedy is upon us. I suppose it's their hope that mortals will take better care of themselves."

Her smile widened a bit, pleased with herself. She had gotten her information in full. This trip had proven very profitable, then a frown crossed her features. Silvia wouldn't like the news, and frankly neither did Aivlis. Though she herself ran on different magic, most of Hyrule depended on the Great Fairies. And that meant it would be something the Princess and the Sheik and other rulers would have to worry about. Yet, Navi was keeping it a secret. Aivlis wondered if there was anything else to this crisis.

"Is this something that can not be spoken to oh say Zelda? Of should it be kept on the low, in secret? It seems like a rather deadly matter to me. Especially considering that magic doesn't just disappear. If it's being drained it must be going somewhere right?"

"There's nothing to be worried about," Dilila held her smirked as she watched Victoria charge at her. Usually that isn't a smart move, and later in her training it would be more deadly, but for now it was what it usually was. Not smart. She waited until she was close enough and then flip over and behind Victoria, but didn't immediately turn to attack. She wasn't taking it easy on her. But how would Victoria ever learn if never given a chance?

"Too slow Vicky," Dilila announced as she went to swing her right saber, knowing that her daughter would block it. This was after all just excising, so it was pretty routine. At least for now. And Dilila didn't want to give Vincent a heart attack.
