"Well I..." He thought fast. He needed a reason not to let this pass him up. Besides, he still hadn't had the opportunity to fight her yet. The only possible way he could become a strong warrior would be if he could beat the Guardian of the Sword. If he'd thought about it rationally, it wouldn't really make sense, but right now all he wanted to do was fight her and win. Not to mention she was hot. "I, uh, am actually collecting information on the Guardians of each village. I hope to learn from each of them to further improve in my training as a warrior. That, and we've just met." He gestured to her and the other two. "I like to get to know new people."

"In that case," she bowed her head slightly, "You are welcome to stay at my brother's and my home until you feel your studies are completed. Provided our chieftan grants you the permission of course." Though she was the younger of the siblings, Artimis knew her title as Guardian made her the head of their home, something she didn't often exercise. Looking back to Yami again, "come this way," she ran over to her brother and grabbed onto his arm, "come on we need to get home to eat."

Alan looked over to Yami, "If you need an extra pair of eyes from me then count yourself lucky I like you so much. Yeah, I'll help you out." His stomach growled, "But it'd be really nice if I could get something to gnaw on."

"Always thinking with your stomach," Yami replied as he watched Artimis run over. "Don't worry, we'll feed you. So sis," Yami said as she grabbed his arm, "our new friend coming over for dinner?"

Tray mentally sighed in relief. He followed Artimis over to her brother, Yami, and Alan. There was another question he'd have to ask Brandon. Judging by just Artimis, Yami was probably pretty cool, but he had no idea about this Alan guy, and Yami sounded kind of hostile towards him. Then again, the two of them seemed to almost enjoy this verbal sparring match, so he would just have to see.

Artimis led them to the house and once inside left the three guys to go and cook. SHe began to prepare her favorite Chicando recipe, when she decided to prepare Yami's favorite instead, hooping he would cheer up a bit because of it, "Are yu guys hungry?"

"Good casue I'm starving," Alan said as he glanced over to the others. He tooks breather for a second. "You got to feed me and keep me running on all engines if you need that extra pair of eyes. He heard a bit of rustling in the bushes and quickly went to a defensive stance."

"Yami, Artimis!" Lilicia said as she came out from the bushes. She went over to the orphans and brought them together for a group hug. "You two were a bit late and you know how that worries me if you dont say a thing about it. But I found you so it doesnt matter... so who are your friends?"

"The Volity... of course," Alan said before he did the traditional Liam greeting. "Pleasure to meet you..."

"Hey Lilicia," Yami replied as he attempted to free himself from the group-hug. "Just a little gathering of the three villages is all. You already know Alan, and I'll let him introduce himself," Yami said nodding his head in Tray's direction. "We were just about to head home to eat. Care to join us?"

((Eh heh heh... sorry bout the wait. I'm home for two weeks so I can't get on as much? WHAAAAA!!!!))

Tray noticed Alan tense and followed suit as he turned toward the bushes. He was definitly not expecting what he saw. She was a sweet looking woman; very motherly, very past marrying age (for him anyway), and very much looking. 'With a skirt like that she must be,' he thought. Still, she almost oozed niceness and motherliness... obviously the Volity. He hadn't done much research on anyone but the Guardians, so he didn't know anything about her, but she seemed ok. He did his best with the stretching out of wings, but managed not to hit anyone or anything or even get in anyone's way. "Trey Shilo, of Mallik." He smiled friendly. "Nice to meet you."

Artimis finished cooking in time to see the village Volity enter her home. She stood at the entrance to the kitchen. "The food is done for whoever is interested. Good day Lilicia." She bowed her head to the Volity. There were only two status's that called for a bow of the head in Artimis's book. Volity's and Chieftans. The healers and leaders, because their jobs were the hardest outside the guardians.

"Well, if you could give me a plate, Artimis, you would be graciously thanked," Alan said as he sat down somehwere. "I have a mighty appetite and I'm your cooking would be enough to fix hat as well as be a treat for my pallette."

'Well, hello there Trey Shilo," she said with a smile. "I beleive I might know someone with the same name as that... a fellow Volity." She turned to Artimis, "I hope you cooked it thoroughly, missy."

Yami rolled his eyes. 'Not even one minute here and already she's giving instructions to Artimis' he thought to himself. "Well it smells good either way," he said to Artimis as he walked over to get some some food. "Smells like my favorite. Ooh, it is?" A smile spread across Yami's face as he took his plate.  

[Cecil Damascus]

"You must mean Bran... don..." but she had already moved on. Oh well. He couldn't blame her, turning himself to see Artimis enter, preceded by the smell of food. Wow that smelled good! Trey's stomach suddenly growled loudly, reminding him that he had been out training all day and hadn't eaten. He quickly raised a hand. "I'm interested!" then, he couldn't help but add, "And I'd like some food too, please Miss." He knew it was risky, what with her brother right there after all... But he moved toward the kitchen, planning to help himself if given leave.

Artimis smiled as she saw Yami's face light up. She knew making his favorite would be a good idea. "It smells like your favorite because it is your favorite," she sighed and placed the food down on the table, "yes yes I cooked it all the way Lily." Artimis smiled at Trey-though she didn't understand what he had meant, "what else would you have been talking about?"

Alan looked down at the food and helped himself to a plate. Well, not before he helped to pass it around a few before he got his own. He sat back down at the table and took a bite out of it, "Now this is good. I can see why its your favorite Yami." Alan took another bite and then looked over to Artimis, "I would have never expected that you would be an excellent cook as well. Yami hardly talks about you when we're together.

"I think it could stand a little bit more time on the stove," Lilicia said. "Oh so... that's your brother?" she asked to Trey. "How has he been? I havent talked to him in ages."
