PLAINS OF SORROW

[Cartography]

Obviously outnumbered, with no way of convincing three minds that staying was a good thing, Sy gave up. "Ahh.. Alright. I guess i have no choice." He sighed and slowly got to his feet. If anything, he was going to make all three feather-heads wait.

K'Tathi spread her wings as soon as Sy was standing, and with a push-off, and a couple hard beats of her wings, she was airborn, and circling the two. Ryler had already started for the portals, leading the way for the slackers.

Arms crossed, Tails wagging slowly behind him, his ears were cocked forewards, the left giving a little twitch every so often as he waited. Finely, when Sy was standing, he sighed semi-aggrivated and narrowed his eyes. "You're trying to make this ordeal un-bearable for me, aren't you?" he growled quietly.

(( Aah.. At-chan, i'm giving you Ryler, ne? you play the mindless bird better than me. ))

Sylvain couldn't help but chuckle just a little. "Un-bearable?" he repeated, raising a curiouse brow while he stretched a little, all the while keeping an eye on the demon. "If you'd tell me the truth about this place, then maybe i'd hurry up a little. You can't lie to me, Tyr. Its geneticaly impossible."

His eye-narrowing turned into an all out glare as the hybrid huffed, not very impressed at all. "You have to remind me, dont you? you get some sick pleasure out of having complete controle of my ever move? My every thought?" Oh, he was far from impressed, but alas. There was no way around it.

(( NOOO!!!! MATTS KILLING DEMYX!!!!!!!! I'M GOING TO CRY!!!! ))

So, with a sigh, He obidiently and truthfully gave the explanation Sy wanted. "There are veins of magic running underneith the ground in every direction. I think they're what keeps this place as it is, but thats besides the point. My body was 'engeneered' to reject magic as a whole." he paused for a second, inhaling quietly, closing his eye for a second before opening it and returning his glare to the count. "So, in other words, The intence use of magic thats keeping this world as-is, is more than a little painful to me."

(( Ah, you're giving me Ryler? okay... i like him :3 ))

"Oh, for christs sake. its just like you to keep something like that a secret." He shot the demon an equally un-impressed glare and started walking after Ryler, who was already leagues ahead, probably on his way back to see what was tking the two 'featherless-kins' so long. After a few steps, he stops and turned his head jsut a little "Well? Are you comming?"

Tyr shook his head, frowning at Sy. "Sure, now you're in a hurry." he grumbled, sticking both hands in his pockets before slowly wandering after the count. "What if i said i didn't want to leave yet?"  

[Cartography]

He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Then i'd call you a masochist. Wouldn't you just love that?" He turned away from teh demon and started walking. The shadow of the Owl above took note of what was happening and started lightly gliding towards the omniouse looking portal a few leagues ahead. ::Young master, should you really be trying his patience? I understand that he is unable to bring injury to you, but still. There are more ways to injure someone than with mere violence.::

Tyr had started walking, but stoped after he heard K'Tathi's opinion from above. He glance towards teh sky and glared at the dot that was the owl and shouted so she could hear him "I appreciate the confidence you have in me! stupid birds..." he turned his attention to Sy, a glare present, but when wasn't he glaring? "you should have a talk with you're brainless birds. I might not be able to hurt you, but them... i could have for a midnight snack."  

[Cartography]

"She's alot smarter than you are. And if you touch either of them, i swear to you, i'll make your life a living hell. Mark my words, Tyrian." He didn't even bother to turn around, or make any eye contact whatsoever. The visciouse use of the demons full name was enough to convey the truth of his threat.

::My my. Your words impress me, Young master. If you keep pulling his leash like that, i doubt anyone will have anything to fear from him again.::

Sy's left eye twitched just a little at the words spoken by teh owl, but he didn't look up. ::K'Tathi, if you don't shut up now, i'm going to withdraw my threat and coax him into plucking your feathers, and boiling your legs.::  

[Atrocity]

The threat and use of his name kept Tyr quiet as he walked, not wanting to say anything to get himself into more trouble. K'tathi was being quiet to, which was kind of surprising, since Sy hadn't said anything... Well, he might have. He couldn't hear mind-to-mind speaking when it was Sylvain doing it, which was kind of a bumer. Who knows what he'd said to the bird?

It wasn't long before both of them were standing infront of the extremly large peices of rock, standing tall against the blue sky, and green grass. So, very, obviouse, it was almost sickening. "So, do we get to pick a destination, or does it just shoot us out wherever it wants to?"

At teh light mind-prod, he glanced up just in time to see Ryler dropping down from teh sky above. Instictivly, he outstretched his right, leather clad arm, and the small kestrel hawk landed firmly, talons not quite digging into the leather. ::Thank You, Feline-friend.:: The hawk cooed, letting out a light chirp, a sound most humans never heard from the feathered raptors.  

[Cartography]

Sy stared at teh portal, frowning just a little. Big, giant rock pillars. it was kind of cliche. "I dont know, why dont we test it out?" Before Tyr could take note of what he said, he put a hand on the demons pack, and gave him a little push forewards.  

[Atrocity]

Tyr coun't mask his surprise as he was pushed forewards. He stumbled a few steps onto teh platform; Ryler had spread his wings to keep himself somewhat balance while perched on Tyr's arm. Although, teh hawk couldn't keep from screaming in a very not pleased way.

So, the hybrid stumbled forewards, and before he'd taken his third step, his skin suddenly felt like it was on fire, painfull on fire, but there wasn't a way he could stop himself from going forewards. He winced, both his ears lays back tightly against the side of his head, and then he was gone. In a flash of non-existant light, Tyr and ryler were gone completly from this plain.

Sy winced. he could almost feel the sudden, sharp intake of pair the demon had felt a split second before entering the portal. It was probably a figment of his imagination, but still. ::K'Tathi, i think its our turn.:: he mind-spoke the owl, holding out his right leather clad wrist for the larger Bird.

K'Tathi swooped low, her talons outstretched, and grasped onto Sy's wrists carefully, beating her wings until she was fully balanced, then folded them away. ::Lead on, Young Master.::

He didn't need any more urging than that. Taking the few steps towards the portal, he steped through, only hoping that he ended up in the same place as Tyr had been dropped out into.

Feame steped out into the strange beuty that seemed to suck his joy away, "Lets make this quick..."

"I agree..." Said Tumble as he came out right behind him. Tumble was immune to such sorrow, but he didnt like it, all the same.

Feame nailed a sign to the portal and quickly steped through the portal, "Common, were almost done."

Tumble gladly followed out of this place.
