Please do not post during the span of this mission. This is a personal thread for an NPC and my character. Thank you.

He spoke a tongue that I never had the pleasure of speaking before, and he taught me. The filthy vampire, the disgusting pig that put his teeth to my wrist, neck, or any part of my body he wished. It was a disgusting ritual that he put me through each day, one I wasn't prepared to suffer through again. He was old, an impossible number that surprised me when I first met a vampire. Not only that, he was very perverted. He would strip me before the feeding, and tie me to a hard bed. He never did anything inappropriate, my purity and connection to myself remain intact. But he would bite my thigh, my stomach, above my chest. Getting near but never quite touching, and then he would shower me in luxuries as if I was his mistress. He adopted me, but never once called me daughter. He gave me gifts, but never once did I say thank you. In the long run, he only made me stronger. The kiss of a vampire hurt, but it was sharp pain that quickly went away after a while. Not only that, but there were books. I learned to play instruments, he made me take singing lessons. It wasn't all bad. I found Daniel, in the books of the large manor library.

The tavern was a medium size, but it was full of crooks and delinquents. Sage hid her face well, a brown-green colored cloak that looked so dull, she wouldn't catch any attention. It would be no problem for her to travel this way, and the power she had gained from secretly training herself wasn't nothing, either. She was prepared to face whomever it was she had to face, if they challenged her. Inside the tavern, she ordered wine and some bread. She was in no hurry to get to Kranila, but much urgency to leave Nocturne. If she had showed her religion, she would be dead. If the vampire knew what she believed, she would have been dead instead of he. She was near the port, planning on taking a boat to Kranila. The only problem was getting a boat. Sage's eyes cut through the crowd to look for anyone willing to smuggle her aboard, but then she remembered how unlikely that sounded. Sighing, she turned back to her food and began to pick it apart. There was mold on parts of it, but she knew she couldn't complain. She had stolen as much coin as she could from Yvin, but was it really enough? She couldn't tell, but she bought the cheapest things incase she needed to bribe her way out. She stood up, and left. The port was ten times more packed then the dusty tavern, which was a good sign. She walked around observing people and their ways, wondering if they would help someone like her with a good enough price. After a few days of staking out, someone finally asked what the hell she was doing so she prompted him with some coins and asked if he would like an opportunity for more. It was more or less how she escaped Nocturne, a lot easier then she predicted it would be.

The years that followed was something out of a fairy tail. She found an old place in the woods, where an old mage stayed awake and alert. Her master, the one she could trust with her life. For three years she trained with her, acquiring more knowledge instead of creativity, and of course the power. When her master passed, she decided to take the best of both worlds. For money she would dance and perform, but as a hobby she continued her studies and would gain more power. She eventually needed to learn to get over what Yvin did to her, so there she was. Back at his mansion. She raked her mind for reasons why she was there as she opened the door but she felt unnervingly compelled to go in. The place had been abandoned for years after all, until she heard a voice. "Well hello there."

"And after everything I did for her. I just can't stop these dreams, I feel so betrayed. The worst part is she thinks I'm dead," Yvin was complaining to his therapist, in the study. Books of psychological studies and anatomy descriptions ran across the shelves that lined the room, he was sure to stock up since he was feeling down. He was fine for years after his attack from Sage, and suddenly he was feeling blue and nostalgic.

His therapist was very understanding, and always seemed to ease his mind when random feelings popped up. "Why don't you go find her?" He inquired. Of course Yvin couldn't go find her, and he told his therapist this. Sage ran away, into a warring country. He couldn't pick up his luggage and go look while he was a nocturne vampire. He had nest to rule, and he had too many responsibilities. "Where you in love with this girl?" He finally asked.

Yvin didn't want to hear this question. He was already in enough anguish from her leaving, that it affected him years later. "I... Of course I am. She was the most beautiful being. I bought her young, and I watched her bloom. She had this radiant energy about her. Her body was so perky, I wanted to touch her but I never could. I wanted her to love me too."

He scribbled a few things down before letting a long sigh loose. "Well we made progress today. I'll be in my room if you need anything, I'm quite tired." Peter was apart of his nest, he was the only person he could get personal with. Yvin thanked him, and watched him walk out silently without any complaint. Talking about her only hurt.As he stood, he decided to go to the feeding room. He descended the stairs to notice the front door creak open, a slow smile plastering his face. "Hello there."

After flying for a couple hours, Amias and Sophia would find themselves at a particularly aged castle. In what felt like another lifetime, this would have been the home for some of Nocturne's upper class; the riots and raiding of late had rendered it nearly uninhabitable to any of the remaining nobility, and as such the building had become quite dilapidated. Though he quite wished it would, this didn't deter any of society's more foul elements from taking up residence in the abandoned keep.

"I had hoped to save this one for a bit later, but unfortunately this is the only other chieftain I can reasonably pinpoint without further investigation." He would turn to Sophia, an annoyed expression on his face, "Call it unfortunate or a divine comedy, but the current master of this castle has a particular fascination with ruling over all of Nocturne, and not in the way that our friend would like to see it done." He was referring to Charlie, of course, and the sort of republic he was trying to build. "Nevertheless, this entity must be defeated just like the rest, and so we press on. Just...when we get in there, make sure you don't eat or drink anything. The side effects would be disastrous." With that, Amias began to slowly walk towards the castle, still honestly debating on if he even wanted to do this yet.

User ImageNai had no ability to fly, nor any ability to easily traverse long stretches of ground. Therefore, don't ask how she managed to keep up with Aurelia as the airborne woman tracked down Amias. Simply accept it as it was, a convenient anomaly that she had arrived just in time to look up at the caste walls in confusion just as Amias happened to be approaching.

Nai had, boldly enough, walked right up to the walls of the castle, which she stared at curiously. Whatever the case in the present may have been, in her vision, she saw the architecture of the past. Stately walls and spires painted in pristine colors. The bridge she stood in front of, which crossed a moat of clear water was clean and polished, the only substance remaining upon it being the decorative ivy that was permitted to grow for ambiance. Lush trees, bushes, and grass gave the palace a lively look.

A dark haired girl cautiously, with great trepidation passed by Nai as if she didn't exist and slowly opened the door. She started at something, but went inside in the end.

This wasn't right. Nai remembered this place should have long since become destitute. Well, perhaps not ages long, but in Nocturne, when each week brought about something new, it was long enough to feel like it was ages ago. However, in regards to her predicament, she could only feel silently frustrated and wait.

Luckily, the waiting paid off just about now. Decay and ruin crept over the mansion like an army of ants swarming a corpse. Paint peeled, the roof caved in. Greenery turned to dust and water vanished as rubble took its place. If there was any reaction to her, a stranger, being so boldly close to the domain of a wannabe ruler, Nai bluntly ignored it.

It appeared she was back in the present, and she would rather look for Amias than pay attention to some strangers. She turned, searching for the face she remembered.

She found, instead, a different face, similar but younger. Perhaps not in physical age, but playing wurm exterminator for an entire continent and then ruling it, feats that this Amias had yet to accomplish, would age a person in its own ways.

Since he and his companion appeared to have their own purposes in being here, Nai wasn't so impolite as to interrupt them. In fact, when she opened her mouth, the only part of her face visible beneath her raised hood, to speak, it was to offer her help. "If I assist you in this matter," she motioned towards the estate with a gloved hand, "could you spare a moment to talk about Niraliel?". There was, aside from the motion of her gloved hand, an eerie stillness to the hooded figure. She wasn't completely devoid of useless motions, but they were nonetheless reduced to a point rarely seen.

Damn if Nocturne wasn't probably the absolute ugliest place that Aurelia had ever seen. She'd felt that way when she first made landfall years before, when the Black Stallion himself had given himself the throne. Drab. Gothic in all the wrong ways. Not even edgy, but purely just spikey in some places that had gaudy names and round in the areas that were obviously not for the aristocracy. She turned her head as she roared... as she screamed like a missile overhead. Crossing country to country in the blink of an eye was beyond her power, but breaking sound barriers made short work of her East to Northwestern Journey. Nai would find her way, as she always tended to apparently, and they would convene before the man who was almost as big an anomaly on his own as she was.

Miles higher in the air than she had any buisness being, carving through clouds, stirring up gusts that served to clear some skies and enshroud others in her wake. As fast as she was going, seeing much beyond an infinite gray expanse was nigh on impossible. Her eyes weren't even open behind the shades. No, she navigated via her built in GPS, straight to Nocturne, and then towards where she could sense him. Amias Nicht. Her body came to a sudden halt, shunting off a godly aura of green, receding into her wings, folding into her form as she shook off the absolute chill that settled in. It took some doing, pinpointing him, and also keeping missile silos from opening in response to the anomaly in Nocturne's airspace. Like a rock, she allowed herself to drop, letting hands dip into pockets casually.

When she did stop, it was just before the point of impact, and right before Nai spoke. Floating mere inches above the ground, she gave a nod to Amias. "It may be prudent you listen to what she has to say, honestly."

And on that note the three most powerful living beings had gathered, in Aurelia's mind. Enough firepower to sink Fronta's Navy.

                          Abilities/Weapons:
                          Adjustment Passive
                          Requires Glancing
This is a skill that will come depending on your target. The more you miss while using this the more accurate you are in the next shot, you are adjusting yourself to your opponent's dodges. This is if you can still see them and if you miss. If they block your attack or get hit by it the effect of adjustment wont take place. There is however a side effect, since you are focused on shooting at them you are not quite capable of dodging. Adjustment is a solo skill it cannot be used in conjunction with other skills except for reloading skills until Expert rank. It must reset when you stop shooting, so you have to constantly lay a reign of fire on a target for it to stack over posts. By the third post, them dodging alone wouldn't be good enough if you don't lose your lock on them.

                          The Sight
Just like their counterpart (the Nephilim) the Diabolos can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.

                          • Electromagnetic Manipulation
Even without expending energy, the Diabolos can manipulate electromagnetic fields. This allows them to levitate their own weapons and manipulate them with great speed, power and precision. Furthermore, they may sense metal and disturbances in electromagnetic fields; for example, if there is a destructive event happening even across the world, they will know it is ongoing, just not who or what is involved. They can sense earthquakes and other such things, to name a few events that would trigger this sense.

You may also compress this magnetic field within simply a large area around you; this allows you to perceive movements around you.

                          • Pain Inversion
This is a strength and a weakness. Pain Inversion allows for a Diabolos' abilities to be stronger based on their physical health. This does not increase ability rank, but rather size, speed and precision. At full condition, you will be able to manipulate larger masses and fling them at enemies as if ballistic homing missiles. When near death, you will need great concentration to do that same thing and will be able to manipulate significantly less at once.

                          • Zenith Passive
It's a common saying that anything is a weapon in the hands of a master, this concept is made real by the Weapon Master as they naturally coat any and all weapons they wield with energy. This results in two things, the weapons are made stronger by a rank, and they can strike things they normally shouldn't be able to, such as Shades. This stacks with other damage bonuses. Total weapon damage stacking cannot go past +3 ranks.

                          Sight Lock Passive
This skill is necessary for any and all gunslingers to keep in mind, letting them gain a mental lock-on on the foe. So long as the foe is in any form of view, without anything to obstruct the view, such as a smoke screen or any visual type of illusions. Another bonus is that the Gunslinger can utilize the reflections of anything to find their opponent. The gunslinger can even quick draw with their gun, in a blink of an eye, they can shoot a target in their sight, meaning the opponent has to see and react to the draw of the gun or the moment upon firing.

Amias had waited around for a good two to three hours for Sophia; he had originally thought she was keeping pace with him, but that didn't seem to be the case. By the time they arrived, Amias had already cleaned out the inside of that palace, leaving the pristine appearance of the outer shell and the structure itself. It was as he left the palace that Aurelia descended. The pair had met in passing, but the most he knew of the baroness was her accomplishments during the campaign against Elessia. Her story was likely similar, given that Amias' major claim to fame was his contributions to the felling of Zachariah. In response to her situation, he simply nodded, knowing that the other bit would be coming soon.

He recognized the second visitor as Nai. Admittedly, it would be difficult for him to point out a difference between this and the original item from his time, given her usual, unmoved disposition. The name she spoke was one he'd heard only once before. "You're in luck, I've just finished up. Though to be honest, I'm curious as to why you'd talk to me about someone so elusive. Doesn't she normally prefer to stay out out of the spotlight?" In his eyes, the situation didn't bode particularly well; no one in their right mind would come up to him talking about the goddess of time so openly without a very good reason to do so. And from his narrow view of Niraliel and her extracurricular activities, most all dealings where she was involved quickly went from minor to plane-shattering at the drop of a hat.

User ImageOh. It appears the matter has already been deal with. Nai's fluctuating chronovision finally stabilized, showing her the real picture of the present. Seemingly out of nowhere, Aurelia appeared, her landing having occurred while Nai's sight was still stuck in the past.

Luckily, Nai's vision focused into the appropriate time just as Aurelia began speaking, and she was more than enough in time to register Amias's question. She bluntly revealed, "In a certain future, the world ends." In the corner of her vision, Nai noticed a glint in Aurelia's eyes as she surveyed those who had gathered. Nai could sort of guess what she was thinking, and even if Nai had been wrong, it was a valid point to bring up. "Us three, and many others, gathered and failed to stop the end," she added, closing her eyes and creasing her brows as a stabbing pain shot through her skull with her attempts to remember that future. She tried to delve a little further, but found nothing useful for the searing pain that branded itself into her mind. Just more fluff of those final chaotic moments. Fluff was useless, so Nai cut straight to the chase, "This time, we can only act before it's too late. Aurelia has already agreed to assist. Amias, tomorrow's emperor, do you?".

Her curt response wasn't unwelcome, but certainly unexpected.
From what little the demon knew of Nai, she was comparatively secretive and elusive as her matron. To receive such information without prodding or deceptive maneuvering...Amias' eyebrows furrowed, then raised in response.
Though, another of her statements puzzled him even further; what could she have possibly meant by 'tomorrow's emperor'? The only prospect he had currently was an advisory role in Val'Ghast, and he currently had no plans to climb any further up that chain of command. Futures and their nuances are likely equal parts frustrating and trifling, and he was not jealous of Nai for being overly privy to them. "How curious."

He looked back at the villa where he'd just cleaned house and pondered just how much simpler his life had been not a minute prior. How far away it already seemed. "And suppose I do agree to accompany you on this gallivanting, where would we need to go? If it's something that this group and more wasn't able to handle, then I imagine the work needed to undo it won't just be a one-stop journey." Though he was admittedly still a bit curious as to what else this girl knew, he would leave it to rest for now until they were a ways upon their journey. Amias had treated with gods and the inexplicable long enough by now to know that this was most definitely a truthful encounter. Things that come by such obscure chance are rarely false in this world.
