so I was thinking of something like a warped tour kind of chat where a whole bunch of band/musicians come together and, well, tour together. although this isn't going to be exactly like the warped tour 'cause I want a diverse mash of musicians. /wiggles eyebrows at east asian music.
how a chat is incorporated is that assuming everyone is usually all over the place and since there are so any things going on, perhaps some groups don't get much time to talk to each other outside of playing, eating, and travelling around so yeah. boom here's the chat system to make things easier for all to get to know each other. (if I'm wrong about this, I'm sorry? I've never actually attended a warped tour before so I'm just making this up ... please excuse my lack of knowledge.) the chat will also have behind the scenes people and possibly exclusive fans who got into the chat via lottery, paying big money or dedication.
this is not in the interest/recruitment subforum because I actually need some help coming up with a few things: what genre(s) of music will each band be, possibly a short blurb/points about 'em, and my biggest weakness ... their names ahahaha. ;;
I'm thinking of having maybe around 18 - ish bands? will gradually change when slots fill up. each band can range from two to seven members depending on the genre or idk. ;;;;
uhhhh I want to have an acapella group and an acoustic duo for sure. that's all I got sorry. ;;
I don't know about the rest. I have thought about a kpop group lol fight me, jpop/jrock band puts dukes up, DJ, rapper, some soloists, and 14872 bands. I want it to be diverse so help me pick or suggest? and I wouldn't mind overlapping genres either, I'm pretty open to anything. language barriers are gold y/y?
band names would be wonderful too. if I had to make them all myself, they'd all be puns and I know how much people just love puns. or just downright painful to think of. like 'white haired anime boys' or something ... 'unisex tank tops', 'attractive magnets', 'megalulz', 'tyrannosaurus wrecks', 'chocolate starfish' ... uhhhh. or if I'm desperate I'll use a band name generator.
