Self Titled, this is exactly what you think it is.

In time, all crew members will post a RP sample here for you to decide in a more informed manner, who you might desire to assist you and or proof read for you. Additionally, our Crew is always looking for amazing stories/roleplays to join. So if you see them as someone you'd want. Do not hesitate to send them a message.

PS. I cannot guarantee that they will join or even show interest though. That's your job.

A cold breeze swept through Town, making the several layers of skirts that Selehne wore dance in the wind. The long bangs of white-silver hair blew around her head, while her high heels clacked on the bricks. It was difficult to see because of the fog, but it didn't bother the young woman, since even if she had been able to see more, the sight would not have been a particularly pleasant one. She disliked the almost eternal darkness and the gloomy atmosphere of this place. Still... it had been over a hundred years ago since she'd arrived at this place and she could hardly remember how the human world had been. The memories had faded with the years and those that had remained were mainly dark and not pleasant to remember. The few precious memories that she still held, had become less vivid and more distant. She had to try harder with the day to remember them exactly as they were. A strong gust of wind blew a few strands of hair into Selehne's face and as she gently wiped them out of her face she looked up at the dark sky. The sun would not come out for the coming hours, as it would never. The sun only shone three hours a day and made this place even darker and more desperate than it already was. Selehne noticed someone through the fog and recognized the other person to be one of her brothers.

“Selehne,” he greeted her with the same cold atmosphere as always. The siblings of the Bloodrayne family didn’t get along particularly well, since the whole family was divided into those who followed Malphas and those who followed Malphas, but were plotting to kill him. No one knew exactly who was on which side, so there was hostility between the members of the noblest family in Pandemonea, the land of the dead. Selehne chuckled and stepped to the side of her brother who was staring off into the distance: “My my ~ . Such a cold hearted greeting you’re giving your sister.” Taking a hold of his arm, she teasingly said: “Say, Mercury, when was the last time you smiled~?” Laughing, she skipped away when her brother moved to push her away harshly. Frowning, he crossed his arms and in a low voice he growled: “Shut up, annoying little brat.” The response of the girl was a mere giggle and even though the atmosphere had been extremely hostile up until then, the male seemed to somewhat smoothen his attitude toward his sister, even though his body’s muscles got tense at the same time. He was staring into the thick mist again, arms crossed robustly in front of his chest. The female death god retook her place next to her brother and in silence they let the time pass. The mist seemed only to grow thicker and thicker, while there was still no sign of the sun.

From one moment to the other, Selehne sensed the presence of new souls. She perked up and a wave of emotions flooded over her. Mercury knew what was going on and in chorus they said: “Fresh meat.”

The air was cold and stunk of garbage and death, the ground was filthy and had the colour of three day old puke. The lungs of the blond woman on the ground were filled with dust and coughing severely she sat up, her whole body shaking under the violent thrust ups. Her body looked frail and ill, her arms were full of scars and the little bare skin of her legs – the part that wasn’t covered in stockings or hidden by her hot pants – was decorated with the white lines of her old wounds as well. These marks were not the cause of her being there however and the real reason was unknown even to the young lady herself. Coughing no more, she looked around now and wondered where on earth she was. The only problem being that she was no longer on earth.

A frown appeared on the face of the blonde as she asked with a cracked voice and a heavy tongue: “Where am I?” Talking appeared to be difficult, like something she had learnt but completely forgotten. Then suddenly the girl realized that there was a more burning question, one that was far more in need of an answer than the question that had been asked only a few seconds before. Looking at her hands, as if she hoped that the answer could be found in them, she asked: “Who… am I?” Not knowing the answer to this question, she decided that she’d have to go and find the solution by herself. Slowly she got up, her belly hurting painfully for a reason unknown to her. The first few steps were difficult; her legs felt as if they carried a burden even heavier than stone bricks. Left and right, towering high over the head of the young woman, were piles of trash that were probably the source of the unbearable reeking. The world she was in was grey and sad, hope was an emotion that none of the visitors of this place would feel.

The woman had reached the border of the place she did not know was called The Dump and was now facing a thick curtain of fog that hovered above a thigh high field of grass. A shudder ran down the back of the woman and rubbing her arms she looked back over her shoulder, wondering whether it wouldn’t be better to stay between the piles of trash. The feeling the foggy field gave her was a very unpleasant one and it seemed as if an ice cold hand took a grip of her heart. She swallowed hard and was about to take her first step forward, when she heard a voice behind her: “Wait! Wait for me!” Upon turning, she faced a blond girl with an eye patch she guessed to be of her age. A faint smile appeared on both their faces when the other stopped in front of the first woman. They shook hands but had no names to exchange, which made the scene rather awkward. Releasing each others hands, the new woman took her place beside the other and both looked into the foggy field. The eye patched girl said with heavy sarcasm, but so enthusiastic that you might almost believe her: “Well, that sure looks like a fun, fun place.” Both laughing, they entered the field, holding hands as not to lose each other.

The field was even creepier now, with things rushing away in the high grass, perhaps innocent animals, perhaps not so innocent creatures that were waiting to attack and feast on them. It was getting even harder to see and even though the females knew that they were walking straight ahead, it felt as if they could have been walking in circles just as well. But the two of them were persistent, even though their clothes were moist now and droplets of water were hanging at their eyelashes. The cold made them shiver and even though every molecule in them screamed for turning around to just escape the endless mist, the two of them continued their way through the fog.

“Ouch!” One of the two girls had hit her foot against something in the grass. At first she’d thought it to be a rock, but upon bending down she saw it was a music box. Picking it up, the girl narrowed her eyes and held the little thing close to her face to try and make out the forms. There was a little metal arm sticking out of the thing and even though she wanted to turn it to try what it would do, she knew that she was supposed to stay quiet in case any bloodthirsty monsters were waiting in the mist. At the very moment she thought this, the other girl tugged at her sleeve. Seeing the face of the girl, she figured something had to be wrong and followed her gaze that stared into the mist. The wind was howling, but other than this sound, they heard someone (or something?) approaching through the mist. As it came closer, they could vaguely see a silhouette that almost made them sigh with relief, since it looked like a human. Stopping a few meters away from them, the person (they were now sure of that) said to them: “Follow me, please.” It was a high, female voice with a serene tone in it and it was very seducing to follow her, even though they had not yet seen the face of the woman who had spoken to them. The two girls were still a little unsure, but as the silhouette almost disappeared from sight, the two looked at each other and hurried after it, afraid never to get out of the seemingly endless fog. Their hands were locked tightly, even though they had only just met each other, probably because they only had each other to rely on.

The fog was clearing and out of the misty field they stepped onto a road that was leading them into a town. In fearful awe, the girls looked at the buildings around them, that looked grey and black, of which most had collapsed under their own weight. Their guide turned around and smiled a polite smile at them: “Welcome in Town, the capital of Pandemonea.” Unsecure, the two girls looked at each other and back at their guide who still wore the same polite smile. “We… or at least I can’t remember anything… what kind of place is this?” On one hand, they wanted to know the answer badly, but on the other they felt that it wouldn’t satisfy them very much, even if it would enlighten them. “Why my dear Teacups, Pandemonea is the land of the dead. I do not know the exact circumstances under which it happened, but the both of you have died.” The silence that followed was deafening; the two girls had already suspected something like that, but it all seemed so absurd that they had hoped it had been just a dream in which they had accidently met each other. Holding their hands even tighter than before, it seemed as if they were pinching each other to be reassured of the fact that they weren’t dreaming. Turning to look around, the strange woman who was guiding them said: “We shouldn’t linger too long. Town is a dangerous place for new souls like yourself.” The two women had expected as much, but the comment still made them shudder. When the silver haired woman started to walk again, the taller of the two girls called out: “Wait!” With narrowed eyes, the lady looked over her shoulder and arched an eyebrow. “We don’t know who you are.” The woman now turned around entirely and with a low voice: “You don’t even know who you are yourselves, but alas, I guess it might come in quite handy to know my name. I am Aurora Selehne Desdemona Bloodrayne. But please, just call me Selehne.”

Selehne brought the two girls to a rather stable looking house somewhere at the outside of Town. The girl with the eye patch was sleeping in the corner of the room, but the other was looking at the music box in her lap. Selehne had left quite some time ago and the girl was tempted to turn at the metal arm, to hear the melody of the music box. She placed the little thing beside her and walked to the window, to look through the wooden planks. The street was empty and it looked like the sun was shining, even though it was a cloudy day. She turned back to the music box and decided to wind it up. A soft melody started playing and somehow it seemed familiar to her, so she started humming along. “That’s a very pretty tune.” The girl hadn’t noticed how the other had woken up, so she was slightly startled. “Can I call you Chanson?” “Chanson? Doesn’t that mean song?” After thinking for a moment, she nodded: “Sure, feel free to call me that. Is it okay if I call you Lilah? I mean… your clothes are all of that colour.” A giggle escaped the girl: “Sure thing!” Chanson smiled and the girls broke into laughter, just as Selehne came back into the room, wearing a grim expression on her face. “Do you want to be killed?! It is dangerous to make so much noise.” The two humans fell silent and looked down at the ground, slightly ashamed. “We’re sorry.” With a deep sigh, Selehne sat down on a stool and said: “At least you’ve given each other a name, that makes it a lot easier. Calling you number one and number two is rather degrading, so I prefer not to do that to new travellers.” Confused, Chanson blinked her eyes: “Travellers?” “Let me explain: in order to get into heaven you have to come at peace with what has happened in your former life, but in order to do that you first need to regain your memory. To regain your memory you must make a journey through Pandemonea with your guide. That would be me, in your case.”

When Selehne had finished speaking, a long silence filled the room and after a while, Lilah’s eyelid began to droop and she fell asleep. Selehne and Chanson stared at each other, the latter trying to figure out the motives of the mysterious lady, while she in her turn was wondering how these two girls had died in order to end up here. They could be no more than twenty-five years of age and Selehne guessed they were probably younger than that. There were too many young people dying in terrible conditions these days. Less elder people were ending up in Pandemonaea and most hadn’t even reached their thirties. Old people died peacefully nowadays, while the young ones perished with tormented souls, either because of suicide or because of murder. Even if the earth had been a dangerous place to live when Selehne had still lived, now it was even more so with all the modern technology of cars and guns and nuclear weapons. Sighing sadly, the female death god looked away as Chanson started humming a melancholic tune.
