❃Life by death is desire by submission....

The boat was rocking back and forth at the dock. Today starts the journey my sister and I embark on to find the mysterious boy our mother talked about before she left two years previously and never returned. I recalled her last words before she left: "I must go search for a young boy. Rikyu is his name I believe. I will be back soon for you. I love you very much, my dears." I remembered that time so clearly; it even brought a tear to my eye.
"Lila, where are we headed again?"

...that is the way of love❃

I tumbled into the chamber below, oblivious to the extent of the drop. Thanks to the aid of a close friend, I've navigated the ship belonging to my father. My previous confrontations and failures with that man have demonstrated a need for a more subtle approach. It's a surprise that a monster like him has gained enough admiration to support such the force in which he has accumulated. But it doesn't matter how strong he gets, because one day I will exact my revenge on him.
Further progress was inhibited by a door hinged at a post in front of me; unable to be opened without a key card or something of similarity. "Rikyu, Rikyu, can you hear me?" Eddy Thomason requested of my attention over the radio ear piece.
"Yes, I'm here Eddy."
"Okay, well, your father's security system, which if I may, is an amazing one, has ejected me from his network. I can't open the door that is in front of-"
"I don't need you to do everything for me!" I snapped in reply. "I snatched a key card off the unconscious body of one of the guards." I continued and inserted the card into the slot. I continued into the now open door.
"Well.. okay... Anyway, the room you're in should contain the plans of your father's organization and-" he started, interrupted by the screeching sound of an alarm. "Rikyu, you need to get out of there!"
"I-I can't leave without anything useful against my father." I asserted. I scurrilously searched the file cabinets for anything useful. I let my eyes fly like lightening across some of the pages of the files. Wide eyes struck my expression from in taking the printed data. "DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE!!" I heard shouted behind me. The most basic gesture that I was too slow. "Let me handle this!" Eddy confidently announced. A trap door opened beneath the guards. "Now get out of there!"
~

Successfully reaching the deck with a squad of guards chasing me. there was only one way to elude the bullets that would inevitably puncture within the next seconds. I leaped into the alluring blue ocean not expecting a surviving outcome. I watched bullets surround my body as I drifted slowly away from the ship. drifting on and on and on and on...
My eyes opened slowly to see a medical room around me. I also saw a man in a suit standing near my bed. "Lance? Wh-where am I?" Lance was my contact in Arc Aile who aided me in the pursuit of my father.
"You're on a ship, you were rescued by sailors who spotted you adrift in the ocean." I strained to lean forward but Lance pushed me back to resting position. "Don't try to get up, you need to rest. You still have water stuck in your lungs."
"Yes, but I have to stop my father... I'm the only one who knows what he's up to next!"
"Hm? What is it?"
"He's looking to raid a ship that's transferring Eldel Raids from Eldel Garden so that he can kidnap them." Lance looked surprised and turned away as if to contemplate the situation. "What's wrong?"
"Well, that ship you speak of... Is the one we're floating on as we speak..."

The Journey may be long and hard,
"Kara, I believe we are headed to another island that will be another Eldel Garden, a, supposed, better Eldel Garden. I'm not so sure--." I replied and trailed off to my sister, Kara. I shook with the ship to keep myself busy and not bored as some of the other Edel Raids were brushing and designing hair or talking. I wasn't exactly girl-like or Edel Raid-like, and so I never partook in most of the things that common Edel Raids did. I liked fighting, to be frank. Eldel Garden, I could care less about; mainly because I liked to fight and be a world traveler, and not just at some "paradise." I sat down on the floor of the ship and folded my arms. I was always bored and it seems that I would continued to be bored until someone opened up the door to the Eldel Raids, to me (more importantly), giving me the inspiration to leave this darn room.
"Oops. Sorry! Wrong room." the guard said. He closed the door and I decisively left right after him. I went up to the top deck and stood on the side of the ship. I rested my arms on the railing of the ship and looked out onto the ocean while the wind blew threw my burnett hair. I took a big, deep sigh. This felt very good.
"Too bad it won't last." I thought when I suddenly spotted something in the distance. I squinted to see what it was and, eventually, recognized that it was another ship.
"Ah! Another ship; that's nice." I sighed aloud when I suddenly remember there wasn't supposed to be any ships on these waters until after this Eldel Raid ship went through them. I darted toward one of the guards and told them what I spotted but he didn't believe me. I tried to show the guard where I had seen the ship, but the ship was no longer there. The man chuckled and resumed to his post and I became very baffled.
"I gotta tell Kara." I said to myself and dashed down below the deck to find Kara when all of a sudden, a loud "boom" and "crash" shook the ship and knocked me off balance as guards spontaneously ran up the stairs I was trying to get down. I, as quickly as I could with the rocking boat and men darting passed me, tried to run to Kara, who was still in the room with the other Eldel Raids, when someone pushed and locked me inside a completely different room! I began to bang on the door, but quickly stopped. At least I had the room all to myself. Unfortunately, I was stuck in a small room; the Janitor's room, to be specific. I sighed and sat down in front of the door with my arms folded again.
"Finally, there is something fun going on, but they locked me in and now I must remain bored again!" I growled. "I guess I am to remain bored for the rest of my life." But then I thought of this "Rikyu" my mother talked about so long ago, and found a slight solace in that as another "boom" and "crash" shook the ship and had a mop and soap spill all over me. I screamed in anger and began to have one of my not-so-rare pouts.

but I don't care; I'm still going!

❃Life by death is desire by submission....

Sometimes Lila just walks away after speaking to me. It usually happens when she is extremely bored and nothing new has happened. I usually spent time doing as other Eldel Raids do. Though I am girly, unlike Lila, I still feel like their really isn't that much in common with me and other Eldel Raids. Of course, every person is different, but still.
Before the ship shook with destruction, I already noticed the second ship moving towards ours. Once the attack started, I heard men shouting, locking doors, and loud, loud crashing sounds. All the girls in the room with me were either freaking out or they were fainting all over the room.
"Wait! Where is my sister?" I tried to race to the door, but since all the girls were panicking I was blocked in more than one way. "MOVE!" I shouted, but the girls screams were louder. We began to hear cries of battle up on the deck and many swords were clashing.
"What are they thinking?!" I began, "We are Eldel Raids! Powerful weapons! We can help in this fight! UGH!" I asserted. I tried to push on the door, I even tried kicking it, but it would not budge. I figured none of the girls would want to help me, so I didn't ask. It would seem that some of these sheltered Eldel Raids don't know their own power and seem to be cowards. I don't know if they are just spoiled or reserved, either way they were not helping. I kick the weakest part of the door, the handle, to see if I could break it.
One young Eldel Raid, who could be no more that 7 years old, came up to me and asked to help. I told her that we were going to need lots more help to get this door open. As the little girl tried to rallied the others to help open the door, I kept pushing.
"Look! I understand that you girls don't want to fight, and that's fine, I'll do it myself, but I can't help if this door isn't open!" I shouted irritatingly, still trying to push the handle of the door. The girls must have liked the idea to not fight because they all jumped in to help when I said "I'll do it myself". Through collective the power of all of us, we were able break through.
"Alright. Little one, you stay here, can you help me protect these girls?" I bent down to eye level of the little girl and gave her a big smile once she nodded. I left quickly to find Lila.
"Lila!? Lila!?" I called out as loud as I could considering the loud noises all around. I heard Lila call from the janitor's closet. It was easy to open the door without a key since the door is not as strong as the other. I told my sister to kick the handle on the count of three.
"1....2....3!" We both kick the handle on each side and the lock broke, it couldn't 'handle' our awesomeness. I laughed at my personal joke.
"Finally! Something to do!" Lila thanked me. "Now, let's go!" She shouted as she grabbed my wrist and pulled me to her pace up the stairs.
Once up there, Lila and I saw so many men with Sting Raids for weapons, whereas the soldiers protecting us have mere swords, this can not happen.
"Lila! Let me react with you!" I joined to my sister to become a weapon for her. We are so in tune with each other we don't need a song to react. I reacted into a bow staff of an unusual combination of substances. Metallic yet wooden, is very strange indeed. Lila's face brightened up like fireworks in the night sky. She always loves combat especially since, now, she can beat them with a stick. Lila is an expert fighter, she dashes in between the enemies one after another and takes them down hard, which is why she loves fighting 10 (or more) on 1.
"Just don't show them the trick of spinning me around in the air, like last time. I got so dizzy I near fainted." I beckoned with a smile on my face. My sister raced into battle swinging me around with great precision. The "whoosh" and "wack" sounds were heard all over the place.
"Hey, Lila! Look over there!" I pointed over to a young man who seemed to be weak and surrounded by 9 enemies. Without a work Lila lunged over to his aid. She shoved me into the gut of the enemy on the far left, flinging him into the other enemies, causing a domino effect. While the enemies were down, I disengaged in reaction with my sister so she could fight with her fists and such, because she really likes to hit things, and I could relocate the weakened boy.
"Hey, are you alright there?" I asked sweetly.

...that is the way of love❃

Shrill static echoed in the earpiece, "Rikyu! Rikyu, are you there? Ow, ow!" Edddy threw the headphones onto his desktop. "He must have jumped into the water! He may not have survived..." Eddy dismally assumed. Refusing to believe the fact, he called our contact in Arc Aile, Lance, to help search for me.
~

"Wow, this is awesome!" Eddy gleefully yelled.
"What? Is this your first time in a helicopter?" Lance, uptight and prepared, lightened the mood with a rhetorical question.
"Yes! And it's just as amazing as I thought it would be!" Eddy yelled once again as he hopped from window to window to view the world from up high.
"Eddy, you need to stay focused. Did Rikyu find anything on the boat of his father, Rishikay?" Lance questioned with a small amount of eager. Eddy suppressed his urge to continue looking out the windows and sat down in the chair.
"Before I lost communication with him, RIkyu found some plans of their next raid, but he didn't finish telling me what they were. All I heard was that they were preparing to raid a ship that was nearby them."
"Rishikay's values Eldel Raids more than supplies and money; I think I have an idea of where they're going." Lance stated as he pulled out a walk i-talky and turned on the receiver. "Lance in, how many Eldel Raid transports via water are occurring right now?"
"There are no water Eldel Raid transports currently occurring, Captain Lance." A muffled voice replied. "What? That has to be a lie! Put on Lieutenant Yarzho!" A moment of silence occured.
"Lieutenant Yarzho in-"
"What the heck, Yarzho? Why are these grunts lying to me? I know there has to be an Eldel Raid transport going on somewhere."
"I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to discuss the events that are proceeding. And that's Lieutenant Yarzho to you, that is, if you still want your promotion. And you do know what that means, right?" Lance gasped. "That's right! You'll get the Magnum RX Fusion Calibur. The newest model for modern gunnery. The sleekest to touch and fires magnet-charged particles almost 87.2 yards away from the gun at an energy of 872 Joules per second. With a snack feature included!"
"But- but I want that so badly! You can't take that away!"
"Then stop this ridiculous manhunt and get back to your regular duties! Yarzho out." Lance put away the walk-i-talky with a sour frown on his face as Eddy snickered.
"What's so funny?"
"I'm sorry, Lance, I just didn't realize that you had to be babysat." Eddy chuckled again.
"What? Sh-shut up! I don't need to be babysat! I'm going to find that boat! Can you hack into Arc Aile's database?"
"Can I- can I what?"
"You haven't hacked into Arc Aile before?"
"Well of course I have!- I mean- I- uh"
"Don't worry, I'm not going to arrest you. I need you to find the location of that boat."
"Are you sure there is one?"
"Definitely! My hunches are never wrong."
"Alright then." Eddy agreed as he pulled out his laptop.
~

Lance exited the medical room I was in, nervously thinking of what to do. He pulled out his walk-i-talky again and attempted to call someone, but the response was a loud, shrill static wave. "They've jammed the radio signals! I can't call for backup." he thought to himself. The ship rocked viciously the next moment, knocking him to the sides of the boat. He knew the imminent danger and pulled out his two trusty handguns and ran for the deck, but was interrupted by hoards of my father's followers. Lance skillfully and non-fatally shot the the most dangerous threats in his path as he ran down the hallways of the large ship. Lance came into a large room with shattered dining tables lain all over, and a scared young Eldel Raid in the middle of the room. Startled by the advent of him, she ran into one of the hallways, but quickly rushed back to the room as some new raiders chased her. Lance dashed to her side and epically fought them, eventually leaving them all fallen to the ground. The girl stared daydreaming, as if in love. Even more raiders rushed through the hallways into the room. "Run!" Lance shouted at the girl, breaking her thought. As she ran off, one of the soldiers shot Lance in the shoulder, leaving him weak on the ground. The nine soldiers surrounded him, preparing to fire, when all of the sudden a quick, agile figure danced around the men and brought them all to the ground with a mystical weapon. Lance realized that it was an Eldel Raid user as they Disreacted. The Eldel Raid approached him as the other girl continued fighting.
"Hey, are you alright there?" she asked sweetly.
"I'm fine. But you guys need to leave, they'll take you-" Lance started, until he realized that the men were literally being thrown around them by the power of the other girl.
"I think my sister has us covered." She giggled, smiling brightly. Another batch of men cam marching in once again. Lance, preparing to show off, readied his guns. "I've impressed every other girl I've met, why would these girls be different? Plus, they're kind of cute." He thought to himself. He leaped into the group cunningly dodging their attacks and gunfire. Showing off mostly, he knocked them all unconscious. He then turned around expecting to see them drooling over him; instead, the brunette girl ran at him and held him up by his shirt.
"HEY!!! I called those guys!"
"What? No you didn't!" Lance replied defiantly.
"Actually, she did." The blonde girl added.
"Hey, you can't gang up on me like that!" Lance defended himself.
"Lance, can you hear me? What's going on?" Eddy spoke to Lance through the earphone. He put his finger to the earphone to turn on the receiver.
"I'm here Eddy, I'm just- wait, that noise. Are you still on the helicopter?"
"Yeah, man, it's just so cool!"
"Uhm, sir, we landed ten minutes ago..." The pilot informed Eddy.
"We what!?" Eddy yelled embarrassed. Lance sighed.
"Focus, Eddy! I need you to keep an eye on Rikyu to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Like, go after his father or anything like that." The girls' eyes widened as they heard my name spoken.
"You know where Rikyu is?" The brunette asked. She held Lance to the wall and demanded that he tell her where he was.
"Oh, that might be a problem, Lance." Eddy started. "Because I kind of- uhm, gave him the schematics of his father's boat and he's heading to face him right now."
"YOU GAVE HIM WHAT!?" Lance yelled loudly.
"Hey, I have good news for you though. The reason the transport was so top secret is because there are two special Eldel Raids on board. They are apart of a special clan known as the Fukusu Buki. That's what the Raiders are after!" Eddy explained. Lance examined the girls more closely and noticed that their Elemental Gelades were oddly shaped. Lance leaped out of the Brunette's grip.
"You guys need to leave! You are what these Raiders are after!" Lance shouted, proceeding to leave the room.
"Wait! Get back here!" She shouted.
"I don't have time, I've got an idiot to save." Lance shouted back.

I approached the door to my father's chambers, still limping from decompression from my near drowning. I grabbed a gun off of one of the guards, getting ready to aim it at my father. I would have to catch them by surprise. I was going to risk my own life for the sake of ending his, but it was a price that needed to be paid. I reached towards the handle, accepting my destiny, and finally pushed it forward.

The Journey may be long and hard,
"Hey! Get back here!" I screamed and brandished my hand at the man.
"I don't have time; I've got an idiot to save." the boy shouted back to me.
"Hey!" I shouted at the man again, but he was out of sight. I growled at the back of the man and then sighed.
"So, he told us to leave..." I began to think, "Finally! A reason off this boat!!" I smiled instinctively and sighed with relief. After a small pause, I spoke to myself: "Wait! Where are we supposed to go?!?! Were on a boat in the middle of nowhere?!?!" I growled again and looked at Kara.
""Well, what do you think we should do? The man told us to leave, but where?" I asked my sister, "Also, he mentioned Rikyu; do you think we should run after him and find out where the boy is?" After I finished my sentence, I blushed pink. I never called any male a "man" before; why did I just call that guy a man? I blushed a little harder thinking about it.
"I hope Kara didn't catch that!" I thought and, without Kara to answer my question of to follow the guy or not, went on ahead in the same direction as the guy went.
"Come on, Kara! Let's go fulfill our mother's saying and find Rikyu!" I yelled to Kara and began running in the direction I thought that man went.
~
As I caught up to the guy (whose name I still didn't know but kind of wanted to find out), he seemed to be on a rope that hung from a helicopter.
"YAY!! I get to ride one of these twice in one day! TWICE!! the red-haired, idiot-sounding one in the helicopter joyfully expressed.
"Eddy, can you please focus and stop talking about the helicopter?!" said the man that I was chasing with one hand holding the rope. I, as I was watching the helicopter and those two talk, yelled out to the guy on the rope: "Idiot! You tell us to get off this boat but don't provide a way to do so?!" The two boys looked at me and Kara who was now behind me.
"I don't suppose we could fit two more people in the helicopter, can we?" the man shouted up to Eddy.
"What? There is only the pilot, myself, and you? Of course we have room! ...But why? the one in the helicopter replied, "Are you trying to pick up some girls on the job, Lance?"
"What?!! No!!"
Lance profusely denied."I think these are the Eldel Raids are the two special Raids you were telling me about!"
"Oh!!"
was all Eddy said in reply and I face-palmed.
"Yup! This guy definitely sounds like an idiot! Why would such a cool guy--." I began to think, but quickly thought differently, "What am I thinking?!?! Why did I just think that?! Well, no matter!"
"Not like anyone heard it anyway..." I said aloud accidentally without realizing. Even if I did catch myself, only Kara would have heard me over the helicopter's blades. I was not particularly overly conscious about when I spoke aloud or thought in my head; but it was something that never usually happened to me.
As I approach the helicopter, Lance jumped off the rope and the helicopter evened with the boat. Lance offered me a hand, but I brushed it aside and blushed. I'm NOT accepting the hand of something man I just met!
"Come on, Kara! Let's find Rikyu!" I shouted back to my sister and sat down in the helicopter.

but I don't care; I'm still going!

❃Life by death is desire by submission....

I giggled at my sister's embarrassment after calling that man... well, a man. I followed after her as she dashed out to the helicopter pad.
"Idiot! You tell us to get off this boat but don't provide a way to do so?!" My sister called out. After my sister rejected the hand offered to her, a gentle gesture was handed to me. I accepted gracefully and sat down in the seat offered to me.
"Thank you.....uh?" I gave a questioning expression towards the man who had invited us on to this helicopter.

"The name is Lance. And that goof fan-girling with the helicopter is Eddy." I nodded as if to confirm I heard him over the loud noise of helicopter blades spinning repeatedly. I looked over to my right and sitting next to me was a red haired boy with green eyes staring out of the side of the helicopter.
"I'm not fan-girling! You Arc Aile agents get to ride in helicopters all the time. This is my first time!"
"This is your second time genius"
However it was amusing for me to keep watching their lighthearted conversation, and I did giggle, I was drawn to the machine in the red-head's lap.
"Ooh! What is that contraption?" I was certainly curious, considering that my sister and I have never really left Eldel Garden. That is probably why she gets so bored all the time. Our clan typically stays indoors and reviews the ancient scriptures of our clans past and even, it's future.

"Oh! This is the latest and greatest one of my creations! As I nodded, he continues talking about it.
"It's a seven core, alpha processor with multi-LED based screen with an interchangeable waterproof hydro cameras that can withstand up to 400 feet of water. Although I was flabbergasted by all this guy was enthusiastically talking about, I still continued to nod like every word he said made sense. "...And it comes with a snack compartment. I brilliant idea, if I do say so myself..." While Eddy was still talking, the helicopter approached another big boat. Alright! Time for action. It is time to realize me and my sister's destiny! I confirmed in my heart and mind what needed to be done and glanced towards my sister. I don't know what this means for us, little sister, but if we work hard and work together we can do our clan proud! My resolve had never been stronger.
"We're in range of your descent, Captain Lance." The pilot shouted back to us as he pulled the helicopter down closer to the boat, well more like a yacht when looking up close.
"Alright then!" Lance shouted back up to the pilot as he began to prepare his parachute for his brief, but necessary flight toward the boat.
"Uh.. You better be taking us down there with you, Lance?!"
"No! You girls are staying here. You are the supposed targets for this attack. We will not subject you to any more danger by being reckless enough to place you into the enemy's hands. Pilot! Take this helicopter to Arc Aile Headquarters." Lance firmly asserted his argument and jumped out of the helicopter's side.
"Yes, Sir!"
"But wait..." I shouted, a little to late I might add. He was already falling before I could say anything more. "We need to reach our destiny!" I shifted my eyes toward my sister and nodded as she looked back. Practically a second after Lance left, I reacted with my sister in my machine gun form.
"Don't you even think about turning the helicopter away!" My sister commanded. Neither of the two left on the helicopter had time to react to my reaction with sister.
"Let her and I off this helicopter right now!" I beckoned forcefully as my sister prepared to fire me. I could instantly see the pilot turned pale and Eddy protect his newly designed laptop. "Move this thing closer to the ship." I commanded. The pilot, fearful, decided to do the right thing and lowered the helicopter.

"Which way to get to Rikyu?" Lila aimed me directly at Eddy and also prepared to fire. I almost felt bad. The way we handled to situation when they were only trying to protect us. I feel kinda like a thief. Nonetheless, we need to react with the boy Rikyu and quickly. It is our destiny. I thought to myself while keeping my composure and a serious face.
"Well. He is heading to his fathers chambers, so I'd say he be heading right there." Eddy quickly typed on his laptop and pulled up a schematic of the ship, the same one he had already given to Rikyu. My sister and I quickly glanced at the picture on the screen and memorized it. We then proceeded to descend the tossed rope and board the boat from the helicopter. As we exited Eddy proceeded to message Lance from the earpeice he had on.
"Lance!? Are you there Lance?!"
"Yeah! Go!"
Lance responded quietly as he headed through the halls trying to find the room where Rikyu refused to stop being an idiot.
"Uh.. We got a problem. The two Eldel Raids just ditched the ride to headquarters and went running towards Rikyu." Eddy stated.
"They WHAT?!"
"And that wasn't the worst part. They held us at gunpoint! I don't that is very ladylike at all."
"Eddy.."
Lance began to sigh when he heard footsteps coming from in front of him. He hid in a small closet that housed cleaning supplies. He began to hear whistling as the door in front of him suddenly opened.
"Not my day..." Lance mutters as he grabs the person by his collar and pulled him into the closet with him. The shear force of the pull made the man's face pale as Lance made a good'ole smack sound against the shelf of chemicals using the once happy man's forehead. After shoving the unconscious guy into the closet and shutting the door, Lance made his way further down the hall. He began to hear footsteps again, only this time behind them.
"I guess everyone wants to play today!" Lance declared as he pulled out his shiny, trustworthy guns and aimed at the figures behind him. Only this time he was confronted by the two Eldel Raids he saved earlier and they were reacted together.
"Lance! Put that toy away. You know, I can take you out any day with Kara. So move and let's go! Lila proclaimed as she whipped past Lance in the direction for the Captains quarters.
"Hey wait!" Lance called out, but we didn't stop. He chased after us to the door to the captain's room. Lila aimed me at the door, but Lance quickly kicked the door. The door collapsed into the room and the scene unfolded before us. Rikyu. With a gun. Aimed at his father's head.

As the door opened, my late second-thoughts and regrets pushed me away from a true state of consciousness. I watched a confrontation I had long awaited unfold as if I were separated form the scene. The guards reacted with lightning-quick speed and swiped their guns from their holsters. These were elite guards; my father wouldn't have hired them to guard him like this if he didn't foresee my offensive coming. He had me right where he wanted me, yet I had my gun perfectly aimed at his forehead without any harm done to me. There had to be a true plan behind all of it, but my focused mind could not grasp any hint or clue of what it was. My father Rishikay gently turned towards the commotion with his expression composed and his emotions suppressed. "So it's finally come to this:" He started in realization of how long it had been since we had last seen each other face to face, "Your destined moment, your last stand..." He finished as he closed his eyes, reminiscing with his memories. I stood silent and prepared, his true plan had yet to be revealed, anything could happen. "I have to ask you something: what is it you wish to gain out of all of this? Are you doing this for your own selfish thirst for revenge? Or are you using Lea's name as a front-"
"You don't get to talk about her." I snapped at him as I cocked the gun.
"A sore spot I see. You misuse her name, boy. You act like she is your vengeful god of anger and-"
"Shut up!" I yelled passionately. He heeded my words and stopped his sentence short before shutting his eyes. He kept his silence as he reached underneath his desk to grab a rectangular device with a large red button in the center and and antennae extending from the top. "What are you doing?" I shouted, demanding an answer. He lifted his eyelids open, "No amount of words can shape our future, I am letting my actions speak in their place." He explained as he lightly pushed the button on the device. A loud, shrill noise echoed throughout the boat.
"What did you do!?" I demanded an answer..
"We are throwing all the Eldel Raids collected on this raid, and a third of all the Eldel Riads we have kidnapped in a cell deep within the boat. Among them we have armed a bomb; by pushing this button, I have activated it. If my finger leaves it, the bomb will explode, blowing this entire ship into shrapnel!"
"Y-You what!?" I questioned in a frightened tone. "Is it really right to continue on? At the expense of so many lives? Wait, no, I thought I made up mind! There could be so many more hurt if I let him go on; aren't there sacrifices that have to be made?" I debated with myself thoroughly.
"I will ask again, what do you expect to get from all of this?"
"What- What does it matter?"
"Now that more than just your life is on the line, do you still think it's worth it to take the shot? These Eldel Raids are my prized possessions, if you let me live, it would be pointless to kill them all. If you let me live, the the poor girls live; if you decide to shoot, everyone dies." He tantalized me so. My brain was already filled with so many distressing thoughts, the confusion he struck at me worsened it's condition. Was this his plan?
"No... No! I made up my mind, I've BEEN ready for this encounter, I WON'T let you knock me off guard! This is it!" I stated with a steadfast confidence. Rikishay shook his head.
"Do you expect them to be thankful in the afterlife?"
"What?"
"Do you expect that all the Eldel Raids in the world will be thankful that, through a mass genocide of their own kind, they were saved?" I could barely think, his words struck me hard. There are no words that could be said for this feeling, but it was unbearable to take. "Do you expect that she will be proud of you in the afterlife?"
"S-stop! I'm doing this for- for her!" I gripped my head in horror.
"Your mistake is that you expect to wash away your own mother's blood away by spilling more blood. But you deceive yourself that it can be done because you can't let go of your hate and anger. So, where does it leave you now? Do you have enough strength to pull the trigger? Or do you have the strength not to?" His words continually twisted my will around like rubber. I had so much predetermined willpower, how could he bend it so easily? I had nothing left in me to do anything. Was I to die in vane?...
In that sudden moment, Lance and an unknown woman rushed through door, but it all passed me by without notice; I was out of hope for myself and my future. Nothing that could be said or done could have helped me regain what I had struggled so hard for. A purpose is what I needed. "Rikyu, what do you think you're doing?" Lance shouted out to me. I couldn't reply to him, I just had... nothing.
"Is that finally him?" The brunette girl whispered to her weapon. Lance took a quick look at me and thereafter glared at Rishikay. "Just what did you do to him?" Lance bellowed. Rikishay ignored Lance's question and spoke onward, "It seems I have all of you right in a place where I could rid of all my threats at once, and it would be so simple." He chuckled. "There's Rikyu, my son that has tried to kill me on several occasions. You, Lance, the Arc Aile agent that is hot on my trail. And then there's you two, the 'Twin Blades' prophesied to thwart our plans." He explained each point, and then snapped his fingers. At the command of his snap, several squads of his henchmen marched behind us with weapons readied and aimed. "I believe this is the 'end game' my friends. I didn't expect things to be this easy honestly." He shrugged as he sat down in his desk chair. The two girls gasped for a second, but then prepared themselves for battle.
"Kara, are you ready?" The brunette asked her weapon before kneeling in attempt to leap into the Frey; but one of the henchmen used a specially designed weapon that Dereacted the two and disabled them for a short period.
My father laughed mockingly, "Don't even try it. I have you all cornered like rats!" He reminded maliciously. I raised my head a little before returning to an upright position with the gun pointed at the horrid man.
"There's only one way this can truly end." I stated as my gun flared up ready to be fired. The face my father put on soon turned sour, he didn't seem to expect what I had ready for him.
"Boy, have you forgotten that I hold hundreds of girls' lives in my hands?" Rishikay desperately reminded me. Lance's eyes widened in surprise.
"Rikyu, what is he talking about?"
"This monster has put all of the Eldel Raids that were captured just now, and hundreds more, in a bunker in the boat, along with powerful explosives that can blow this entire ship up."
"HE DID WHAT TO WHAT?" Lance loudly gasped. He calmed his voice and looked me in the eyes to express his solemness "Rikyu, I can't let you do this, if not to save everybody on this boat, to save you."
"Save me from what Lance? I know the consequences! I've always known! I'm ready to do this, and not you, or anybody else, can stop me." I replied harshly.
"Rikyu, I'm trying to be reasonable here! It's not for you to decide the fate of all these lives to chase after your petty, selfish revenge!"
"Stop Lance! I have to do this. I'm sorry it has to end this way, but the world will thank me."
"Rikyu, this isn't the way..." A disappointed Lance sighed remorsefully. Lance swung around me and grabbed a nearby and oddly convenient crowbar and knocked me unconscious. With my last few flickers of awareness, I saw Lance speak to the girls in the room: "Don't worry, I will do whatever it takes to get you out of here. I promise!"
~

"Well, you know, when attracting girls, it's not always about looks. You have to impress her with your personality and your humor. And with people like you, you gotta take the personality and humor route." The pilot of the helicopter explained. Eddy frowned; he felt as though he should have known that he was only gonna tease him. "But hey, cheer up, your luck with the ladies will change when you start using this!" The man encouraged the depressed Eddy as he held up an expensive bottle of cologne.
"Wait, you're giving this to me? But I can't afford anything like this and this is super expensive!" Eddy's squealed with gratitude and humility.
"I don't need it, I use the first route of good looks. But you, my friend, you just need a little help." The man said. Eddy looked him in the eyes as tears began to foil in his ducts. "Thank you, helicopter guy." The moment broke when Lance called in via walky-talky. "Areen, there is a bunker in the boat with an unknown number of Eldel Raids, I need you to locate them and rescue them."
"Copy that, Captain Lance." The pilot responded while pulling out one of his guns. "You stay here Eddy!"
"Why wouldn't I? I'm in a helicopter!" Eddy responded gleefully. As Areen exited the helicopter, an anonymous bullet flew off the walls of the vehicle and hit him in the shoulder. He squealed in pain. "Helicopter guy!" Eddy yelled in concern.
"You have to finish the mission, Eddy! And make sure to wear the cologne when you save the Eldel Raids!"
"Y-Yessir!" Eddy agreed and grabbed Areen's gun, and the cologne too, and ran out onto the boat. "I won't forget you helicopter guy!" Eddy yelled as he ran into the boat.
As Eddy journeyed through the boat and kept himself concealed from the guards, he began to daydream about the Eldel Raids that he was about to save. He began to drift away...

"Oh wow, Eddy! Your Helicopter is sooooo large!" An Eldel Raid mentioned to Eddy in his daydream. "And look at all those fancy buttons!" Another Eldel Raid continued. Eddy looked at the three Eldel Raids that were on his arms with a self confidence quite unlike him while they were sitting on the helicopter that he was pretending was his. "But that's not all it's got ladies, it's also got... a snack feature." The girls gasped and fainted with delight...

Eddy, whose face was red with blushes, was so distracted with his daydream that he walked right into a crowd of the guards without even noticing. "Don't worry Eldel Raids, I'll save you!" Eddy laughed care-freely, still not realizing that there were guards all around. They all cocked their aimed guns at him as Eddy awoke from his daydream and looked at all the guards surrounding him in suprise. "You guys- uh, wouldn't happen to know where the Eldel Raids are, would you?"

The journey may be long and hard...
When Lance and I with Kara as a gun still burst through the door, Lance and I saw a boy in blankness and the evil man who had captured all the Eldel Raids. I began to wonder who the boy was and why he was in blankness until Lance shouted: "Rikyu, what do you think you're doing?"
"Is that finally him?" I whispered to Kara and stared back at the now known Rikyu. "He looks hopeless! I thought he'd be more like a warrior, not some reckless kid..." I thought. When Rikyu didn't answer Lance, I continued my thought: "So he's mute too?! Piff!"
"It seems I have all of you right in a place where I could rid of all my threats at once, and it would be so simple." The evil man began to chuckle, "There's Rikyu, my son that has tried to kill me on several occasions. You, Lance, the Arc Aile agent that is hot on my trail. And then there's you two, the 'Twin Blades' prophesied to thwart our plans." he explained. As soon as I scoffed, the man snapped his fingers and squads of armed men darted in:"I believe this is the 'end game' my friends. I didn't expect things to be this easy honestly."I scoffed as I prepared for battle.
"Kara, are you ready to kick some ugly rear?!" I chuckled and leaped into the middle of some of the henchmen. As soon as I leaped, one of the henchmen stopped me from attacking with Kara and made us Dereact as well as throwing Kara across the room.
"Kara!" I shouted as Kara was stunned.

"Don't even try it. I have you all cornered like rats!" the man mocked. I began to growl as I heard Rikyu state: "There's only one way this can truly end." Rikyu cocked his gun and held it to Rikishay's head.
"Finally!" I began to think, "Rid us of this old menace!" Rikishay's face stiffened as if Rikyu surprised him.

"Boy, have you forgotten that I hold hundreds of girls' lives in my hands?" As soon as Rikishay spoke, my own face stiffened. Was Rikyu about to kill all the Eldel Raids? For what reason on earth would Rikyu do that? The hero supposed to save all the Eldel Raids now wants to kill them all just to destroy one man?! I began to wallow in confusion just as Lance spoke: "Rikyu, what is he talking about?"
"This monster has put all of the Eldel Raids that were captured just now, and hundreds more, in a bunker in the boat, along with powerful explosives that can blow this entire ship up."
Rikyu replied to Lance. My whole body stiffened as I fell to my knees. What on earth is going on?
"But I thought Rikyu was going to save us..." I whispered to myself.

"HE DID WHAT TO WHAT?!" Lance gasped and tried to reason with Rikyu, but I heard nothing of it. The only things swimming through my head were the doubts of my own mother's prophecy. Was my mother wrong about Rikyu? Was everything she told to Kara and myself a lie? As Lance knocked Rikyu out, he came over to me and promised: "Don't worry; I'll do whatever it takes to get you two out of here. I promise!" I, then, swallowed down my doubts for now and replied to Lance: "Thanks, but Kara and I--. Kara!" I tried to run over to Kara to have her react with me but henchmen came between us.
"Outta the way, you scoundrels!!" I bellowed at the men and broke through their line by punching and kicking them. The one's I actually punched grunted in pain as they hit the floor and I darted to Kara's side.
"Sis, you okay? Can you react?" I asked Kara as I knelt by her side. Kara's eyes began to open as I heard Lance do some shooting behind me. Even though I asked the question right next to her, it seems that she couldn't hear me.
"Kara! Kara! React, come on!!" I began to shout as she reacted again with me, "Good! Now--." I was interrupted by the Dereacting gun shooting Kara again and stunning her. Lance shot his way towards Kara and me and shook his head at me.

"Fool you once, shame on them. Fool ya twice..." Lance said to me and I growled.
"I forgot, okay! It's not like I've encountered this type of gun before!" I shouted at Lance and began to take out the henchmen only using my fists. Lance's eyes widen and then he chuckled.
"I bet I can wipe out more guys than you can!!" I shouted to Lance with a smirk as I took another henchman down.

"I'll take you up on that as long as it makes you take out more men. Lance replied to me as he shot three men behind me. I giggled and smiled.
"You know, this guy is kinda cool and sweet..." I thought to myself, "I wonder why he couldn't be the 'Rikyu' Kara and I were searching for. I kinda wish it was him and--." I immediately began to blush as Kara took out a henchman behind me.

"Sorry! Oh Sorry! Sorry again." was all I heard Kara say as she punched some of the henchmen. I chuckled at Kara when suddenly, Rikishay began to shuffle away.
"How dare you run away when you've caused us this much trouble to find you!" I screamed and began to chase after Rikishay. Before I could catch up to Rikishay, a bunch of henchmen stopped me short. I growled and beat them all up, but Rikishay was long gone.

"Come on, let's go find the Eldel Raids and get outta here." Lance practically commanded as he picked up Rikyu's body.
"You two girl's go on ahead and find the Eldel Raids; I'll call in for a carrier to be sent and get this idiot chained up so we don't lose him again." Lance commanded again, and Kara and I were off. Lance then pulled out a phone-like device and spoke to it:
"HQ, this is Lance. We are gonna need three carriers ASAP. Eldel Raid's lives are endanger.
"Copy that! Sending three carrier's to the E-3 'copter's coordinates now." the machine replied and Lance quickly headed back the way he came to the helicopter.
Kara and I ran down the hallway checking all the doors in the one hallway. After the fifth door I check, I sighed loudly.
"How are we gonna be able to find the Eldel Raids, sis! We have barely any time left." I sighed again and waited for Kara to state a brilliant idea to try.

~

As the guns were pointed at Eddy, Eddy said in a low voice: "You guys-- uh, wouldn't happen to know where the Eldel Raids are, would you?" The armed men cocked their heads and glanced at each other. They all paused for a moment in confusion when the lead guard told all the armed men to put their weapons down.
"Are you the 'new guy' I've been told about? The one the was a janitor and now a guard for the Eldel Raids?" the top guard asked Eddy. Eddy looked up to the seven-foot tall top guard and replied sheepishly: "Well, of course. It's not like I'd come from a helicopter to save the Eldel Raids. Heh!"
"Oh, really?" the top guard said in half-belief, "Then, what's the pass code that ALL staff should know on this vessel?"
"Pass code?" Eddy questioned.
"Yeah. When I say: 'we have muffins for sale.' You say..." the top guard answered to Eddy's question. Eddy began to think: "What is the most likely the code for when they talk about muffins...?" Eddy thought a bit longer and the henchmen starred and shrugged at each other.
"Muffins... Sale..." Eddy thought, "We...I wonder what this pass code is..."
As soon as Eddy opened his mouth to speak, all the armed men began to laugh. When Eddy saw all of them laugh, Eddy began to laugh as well, but nearly as loud or hard as everyone else.
"Is the pass code not saying anything at all?" Eddy thought to himself as he kept on half-laughing.
"I'm just messing with ya, little man! You know, 'first-day-on-the-job pranks! Whew! They never get old!" the top guard explained and wiped his tears away, "Let me show ya where to go."
"Great! Thanks!" Eddy replied and followed the top guard to the Eldel Raid chamber. As soon as the two arrived, the top guard turned around and explained to Eddy that he was to be on the inside of the chamber. Eddy, then, was let inside and all the Eldel Raids rushed away from him. As soon as he got into the chamber, he began to daydream again.
~

"All right, ladies! I'm the man here to save you. I've even got the cologne on for you!!" Eddy exclaimed to the girls and each one sniffed the air.
"That's right, ladies! Come and get some!" Eddy said as the Eldel Raids came closer and sniffed the beautiful scent of the cologne.
"My, what a wonderful scent."
"He's so attractive."
"Oh, my! Are you single?"
"No! He's mine!"
"No!! He's Mine!!"
"MINE!!!" the Eldel Raids began to fight over him.
"Ladies, please!" Eddy smoothly said while grabbing his just-now-appeared hat, "There is plenty over me to go around!"
"Wow! He's amazing!"
"Yes, he is!" the Eldel Raids said and sighed at Eddy's beautiful scent.
~

"Ladies. Plenty of me. 'Round." Was all Eddy said in real time and all the Eldel Raids looked at each other.
"Do you think he's okay?" one Eldel Raid said aloud and another one shrugged. As Eddy still was laughing, the Eldel Raids placed him on a bed and left him to himself and his wonderful daydream.

...But I don't care; I'm still going!

❃Life by death is desire by submission....

My sister had been bashing Rikyu for looking reckless, and sure he was, but for some reason I just knew it would be him. I knew that he would be the one to save us as eldel raids. His father I recognized from back at our clan's temple. He stormed in with strange guns and took our mother as she was leaving in her search. She had told us to run and fulfill her mission to find Rikyu, but was captured before she could tell us more. I never expected to find he was the son of the man who took our mother and the rest of our clan away. When he mentioned how we were destined to fight him, I suddenly began to feel guilty, like it was our fault he took our clan and mom.
When I heard him say he had many eldel raids ready to be blown up in the bunker, I panicked. Did he just say he'll kill them all? I blanked momentarily until I heard Lila speak.

"Kara, are you ready to kick some ugly rear?!" shouted Lila.
"Yeah girl! Let's do thi-" I was cut short as Lila jumped through the air. I felt a severe tearing pain, like I was being ripped in half as some henchman shot at my sister and I. It dereacted us and threw my body across the room. I couldn't move, my body stung and felt like I was on fire; my ears rang and I couldn't open my eyes. I was completely awake to endure the pain, but I couldn't open my eyes and I couldn't hear anything over the loud ringing.

"ara! Kara! React, come on!!" As the ringing slowly passed I could here a faint yelling from my sister reach my ears. I was still disoriented when I heard her urgency, but I managed to get on to my hands and knees and react with her. I wasn't really sure what I was doing, but I turned into my bow staff form, only to be thrown right back to the ground. It didn't seem to be as bad this time, but it still hurt.
I slowly stood up and tried to regain my balance. Being dereacted was not fun, not fun at all. I didn't have much time before I had to start taking down henchmen. I figured my sister and I were on the same page about not reacting again for awhile, so I just used my fists; something I am not used to, that was my sister's department.
"Sorry!" I hit this one guy straight across the jaw and normally I would have cried out in pain more than he did, but my sister was around. "Oh Sorry!" A henchmen raced toward me from the front, so I drop-kicked him. He landed straight on his butt. "Sorry Again!" I shouted as I elbow the henchman I just kicked by accident. He had stood up as I was lifting my arm, and he just ran right into it. "Whoops!"
After Rikishay fled, most of the henchmen followed after him, but a few stayed behind to continue attacking us.

"Come on, let's go find the Eldel Raids and get outta here. You two girl's go on ahead and find the Eldel Raids; I'll call in for a carrier to be sent and get this idiot chained up so we don't lose him again." I nodded at Lance and I'm sure I noticed Lila was blushing as she nodded. Lila jumped into a spin kick on the last henchmen hitting him in the back of the head, knocking him down flat on his face. I found myself just now realizing there were no women henchmen, hence the name I suppose. As my sister stood up after her landing, a different henchmen came up to his knees, Lila lifted her arm into a 90 degree angle with full force. The man groaned satisfactorily as his nose came in direct contact with the back of Lila's hand.
"This guy was actually kinda tough. I mean they are all a bunch of wimps, but this guy lasted like two seconds longer than the rest." Lila said as she acted semi-ly impressed. Of course, he actually came back from her most powerful right-hook, now that was an accomplishment.
We ran out the door as fast as we could searching through all the doors in the hallway. With no luck my sister sighed.

"How are we gonna be able to find the Eldel Raids, sis! We have barely any time left." I began thinking. There must have been something that we overlooked through all the fighting. It came on so suddenly and, on top of that, that new weapon designed to de-react us edel raids made my memory slightly foggy.
"Aha," I shouted as I suddenly recalled what Rikyu had said before Lance hit him. "Didn't Rikyu say that his father had them trapped in the bottom of the ship? The bunker?" Lila looked like she also recalled that.

"Right! Good work!"
"Let's go! Follow me." We raced to the end the hall where we found a door that had stairs on its other side going both up and down. We trotted down the stairs as fast as we could before it was too late. We came across a group of twenty even larger henchmen than the ones that were guarding Rishikay. They looked at us and prepared to attack as Lila came bolting down the stairs behind me. She was able to put her brakes on before crashing into me, but then the guards came racing towards us. I'm sure Lila had the same thought as me, the Eldel raids must be down here. My eyes danced around quickly to each guard to see if they had any of that new de-reacting gun as the men upstairs, but I didn't noticed them being any different than normal guns. I then looked to my sister to react with me.
I turned into my machine gun form, figuring that the greater number would be easier to take care of with a weapon meant for max range. The bullets are non-lethal, but they can be strong enough to fracture some bones. The spray of bullets stunned the oncoming guards long enough for us to gain some terrain without any damage. I quickly turned into my bow staff form and let Lila beat the guards as much as she wanted. She actually smiled when she slammed me down on top of one henchmen's head, forcing him onto the ground. Then she swung me around behind her and straight into the gut on another one, pushing him into two other henchmen. My sister is so cool! I thought to myself as she continued knocking down more and more of those guys. Some of them got back up, but were quickly knocked down again.
Once she finished and those guys were thoroughly not wanting to get up again, we de-reacted and approached the metal door the henchmen were guarding. With a few strong kicks from my sister, it opened.

~❃~

Eddy was still laying in the bed, laughing it up in his daydream about a golden helicopter with red velvet seats covered in cologne and ten eldel raids crowding around him.
"Alright, Helicopter guy! Take us over the ocean. My ladies wanna see some mer-raids....." Eddy paused for a moment and then began laughing. "Get it! Mer-raids, instead of mermaids. HAHA I'm hilarious!" Eddy continued laughing.
"Ahh, you're sooooooo funny Eddy-sama." One eldel raid laughed and cuddled up to him.
"Yeah you are soooooo coool Eddy-sama." The other one said.
"Yeah, Eddy-sama." said the helicopter guy. His manly voice started reaching a higher pitch.
"You're the best Eddy-sama!" The helicopter let go of the controls and turned to face Eddy. Eddy flinched, but then realized that the helicopter guy all of a sudden turned into a beautiful eldel raid named Kara, the same one that threatened him as a gun earlier.
"Eddy, you handsome devil you." the helicopter guy transformed eldel raid said as she or he came closer. "Wake up now sweetie. Wake up. WAKE UP NOW!"

~❃~

I shook Eddy to wake him, but I thought I heard him mumbling something about kissing himself. I shouted to wake him up as my sister gathered all the captured Edel Raids and informed them of what was going on. She instructed that she would take one group up to the deck to board them off the vessel and the second group would follow me. I looked over my shoulder for a second and when I looked back Eddy sat straight up and shouted "kiss me." I smacked him in the face and he fell to the ground. Once he actually woke up, he stood to his feet and looked disoriented.

"What happened?" he looked around the room and when he saw me, he flinched as if he knew I had just smacked him.
"We need to get off the ship, like now. Are you okay?" I was definitely concerned, but when he rubbed his cheek from where I smacked him, I knew he was fine. My sister looked over at me and nodded, taking half of the eldel raids up the stairs. The other half stayed behind and looked to me as they anxiously waited to hear my instructions.
"Come Eddy. I need your help to ge....." I was interrupted with a loud boom. Someone must be attacking the ship, but why? The ship began to rock back and forth, causing everyone to lose their balance and everyone other than me down here to panic. I tripped on my foot and landed into Eddy who had just regained his balance. We began to feel the ship sinking further and further into the deep waters. I had no time to do anything, but yell at the eldel raids to follow me. With every passing second it was harder to stand without falling over.
"Eddy you take the front. You lead in the front to the deck. I'll keep watch from the back of the pack." I commanded and giggled to myself for my rhyme.

"You mean where the helicopter is?"
I nodded although I had no idea it was up there. Eddy turned surprisingly serious and gestured for all the eldel raids to follow him. He seemed steady footed, well for the most part, and led up the stairs. A few of the girls fell over, but I was able to help them back up. Another boom caused us to stop for a moment, but we were then able to keep going. Our hurried walking turned into a rapid dash up the stairs as we began to hear gushing water come at us from behind.
"Hurry Everyone!" I shouted as I kept one eye on the girls and one eye in the direction of the sounds of the rushing water.

"Come'on quickly!" Eddy shouted as he raced down the hallway and toward the opening before the deck of the ship. Another boom hit the side of the ship and the water started gushing in even faster, filling the bunker we were just in completely up. The ship started sinking more and more and faster and faster as we made our way onto the deck. Eddy came through the opening and stopped to make sure all the girls got through safely. On the port side of the ship were several large ships that looked as if they were meant for fast sailing. Several Arc Aile agents had boarded the deck and collected the girls onto the non-sinking ships. I was still in the hallway because most of the girls were crowding the open way. I stepped into the hallway to make sure there was no one left behind when it suddenly decided it was too heavy and started tilting backwards. The previously captured edel raids were fine because they all held onto one another and the Arc Aile agents along with Eddy were fine, but I had lost my balance while leaning backward to check the hallway and fallen in the direction where the ship was leaning. The water filled the hallway and pulled me back through the hall we had just raced through, smacking me around against the walls. The ship continued to tilt backwards and sink further, the water level increased on me and I couldn't get to the opening to the deck.
Eddy was able to hurriedly help all the eldel raids on the ship. I shouted for help, or tried too at least. The water kept getting into my mouth and I had to keep spitting it back out. I tried swimming up to the opening, but the angle and water level made it hard to reach a ledge. I would be able to get out soon if the water level continue to rise or the ship continued to sink, either way I just have to wait and not drown first. Before the water was high enough, a hand reached down towards me. When I looked up, Eddy was leaning down trying to help me out through the opening.

"Here! Grab my hand." Eddy grabbed my outstretched hand and pulled me up. Only, instead of me getting out, he fell in with me. I couldn't help but laugh at him.
"Awe man! Now all the cologne is gonna come off. Now the helicopter guy died for nothing." Eddy said as he wiped a fake tear away and tried to not breathe in the water. I looked at him amused, but confused. Whatever he was talking about, I didn't get it, but I did try to smell the air around him. It may have just been the salt water mixed with the cologne's scent, but he didn't not smell good at all; he smelled like rotting cabbages in a rat cellar, but I wasn't about to tell him that after he just came to my rescue.
"I'll never forget you helicopter guy! May your selfless act of cologne reward you in the afterlife. May there be more waiting for you." The ship had sunk to the level where we were no longer confined, but now we were in the middle of the water. I waved down my sister on one of the ships and I faintly saw her start yelling at the captain, quite humorously. The ship ended up steering toward us, which is good considering Eddy looked like he couldn't do much more doggie-paddling. I swam closer to him and put his arm over my shoulder, as the ship pulled up to us. An orange floating thing was tossed to us by Lance who was standing right next to and talking with my sister.

...that is the way of love❃
