Her ears are usually the first thing most people notice, next to her piercing gaze which seems to see everything. Her skin is fair and without freckles even though she spends most of her time in the sun. Linka's hair is constantly wavy and thick and its always down except for when she's working in the garden.
She has a fit figure, as she should to keep up with her work and maintain a good energy to continue growing and harvesting her herbs. She usually hides her figure with clothing, however, out of respect for others, as she doesn't believe showing off is necessary.

Linka always wears her crescent moon pendant with any outfit she puts on. It was a gift from her dear Aunt Sabrina whom raised her when her mother tragically died and her father went off to war, then to attend to elven politics and had no time for the infant.
When she is out of her garden, Linka wears a dress of some sort. Not only does it make her look elegant, but it gives her the space to hide her figure somewhat. She wears sandals as boots are too constricting. Only when she's in public, however.
When alone and in her garden, Linka wears a loose shirt with form-fitting, brown pants with no shoes at all. The feel of the earth between her toes and under the soles of her feet is what truly makes her happy.

She enjoys the peace and silence of nature and is usually found among the forest or in the fields sitting and day-dreaming. Linka is quiet and shy herself and prefers to speak to the animals, plants, or insects rather than humans who can frighten her easily.
Assuming she is weak and defenceless would be a mistake, though. When she fights for something she loves or believes in strongly, she is fiery and passionate and fierce. Her mood swings so violently it's sometimes off-putting to those who instantly label her as an easy victim.
Linka is uneasy around large crowds, feeling out of her elements among the vast seas of people, which is why she stays in small towns all her life.

Linka took up gardening as a specialty. Not only did she grow her herbs, but she grew basic fruits and vegetables and flowers in her gardens. They were as delicious and smelled as wonderful as they appeared to be.
❧ - - - Healing with herbs
Having the time to do so, Linka learned what she needed to from the herbs she grew. it gave her a sense of accomplishment to see a wound seal or the suffering of another ease when she used her herbs to help them.
❧ - - - Archery
Linka knows the importance of keeping her distance in certain situations, so when there's a carnivorous creature lurking about, Linka knows better than to get close. In order to shoo away the prowling wolves that haunted her area, she would shoot arrows to frighten them off. Her Aunt Sabrina thought it was wise as well, so she taught her as much as she knew and allowed Linka to learn from there on her own.

Again, her Aunt Sabrina wanted to ensure Linka would have the skills necessary to defend herself so she instructed her on how to handle a small blade. She would never need to learn how to handle a long blade if she could master her stealth and dagger-handling well. If something got through her arrow-shooting then it didn't hurt to have a back-up plan.

As most elves, Linka is lithe and light on her feet. She can tread over dead leaves and make only the faintest of sounds. Her silence is her strongest attribute under this category as hiding proves to be a little more of a challenge for her. She can aptly slip between one place to another with virtually no detection, but choosing good hiding-spots sometimes comes as a rather difficult concept for her to grasp.

Sometimes her unwillingness to be around others proves folly. She hardly enjoys company and comes off a bit awkward and unapproachable at times. In a society where one should be friendly and around others, she likes to keep to herself, making her an outcast and others slightly concerned about her.
❧ - - - Understanding people
Due to her lack of social connections, her ability to understand "human" nature has dulled. She's knowledgeable about many things, but why others do what they do seems to be a concept she fails to grasp as well. Often she misinterprets things others say, causing a bit of bad blood between her and others.
❧ - - - Fear of fire
As with her plants, fire frightens Linka. The idea of burning to death or having it near her precious plants sends uncontrollable shivers down her spine. Linka can handle a fire so long as its within a hearth and well-contained, but on a torch or out in the open or in a shallow pit and she will not go near it.
❧ - - - Cold
Linka relies on warmth to keep her going. Chills or cold climates are certainly not her friend in the least. She's easy to freeze up and hates being cold. Because of this Linka avoids cold areas because a drop in her body temperature makes it difficult for her limbs to move with fluidity as they normally do.
❧ - - - Underground
While she does enjoy the ground itself, she has no desire to be below the earth. It reminds her far too much of being buried and she has no plans on putting herself in the ground. The possibility of a cave in frightens her, so Linka refuses to enter underground passageways if at all possible. If no other route is available, she will run swiftly through the underground way.

When her aunt adopted her, her aunt decided she would be raised to enjoy nature and the goodness of it, having grown up as a forest-dweller herself. Linka grew up learning the ways of the forest and the many plants and farming techniques and was instilled into her a passion for nature. Having spent little time with humans, she grew shy around them. Her aunt, however, taught her to be passionate about the things she loved and never back down.
Linka was also trained in the art of battle by her aunt, mainly only with stealth, marksmanship, and the small blade. She was lithe and limber which made her a formidable foe. Her specialty was sneaking up from behind and killing off her pray without being noticed, which was what made her such a good hunter. She used this in many situations, but mostly just for hunting. Her aunt found no need to train her in hand-to-hand combat, so she stuck to distance battles--keeping her enemies at bay with the bow and arrow--and when all else failed, the ability to sneak off and catch them unaware and slide her dagger between their ribs or to try and negate attacks as they came, though the knowledge of when to run away was beat into Linka's mind relentlessly. 'Fleeing to fight another day.' was her aunt's motto for her.
As soon as she was old enough, Linka moved away from her aunt, quite reluctantly. Her first settlement was in a small village with a pub, twenty-three homes, and a single church that resided beside a gorgeous pond. She earned her wages as a gardener and put food on the table with her own garden. She specialized in flowers and herbs, but could grow a potato in a desert. Linka resided in that small town for twelve years until the populace nearly doubled, at which time she packed up and left for a new home.
Linka moved frequently. Villages she lived in grew larger and she had a tendency to pack up and leave over night and take with her all the plants and vegetables and fruits she owned and leave almost everything else behind. For that she became known as the Ghost Gardener. She would leave just as suddenly as she came when she felt the village she lived in got too large for her liking.
She kept in touch, however, with her friends from the past. Letters would arrive at her house frequently and she would relish in the communication and determination her friends had in keeping open lines between them. This didn't happen often, though. Linka could call perhaps five people in all her friend because of her severe social disorder.

A small, white-silver dagger with a bent blade that curls in waves, and a finely constructed osage bow with iron-head arrows.

The pendant around her neck is the most important item she owns. Her weapons and the seeds and herbs she always has. Linka packs lightly in order to be able to move as quickly as she does.

She doesn't have a set familiar, but she does enjoy the company of insects and animals.
