The new enemies in Halo 4 are called Prometheans, and I dont think most people realize Sangheili means Elite. You should have specified that. :/

Sangheili, also known as elite, are the smartest covenant known in halo, their recent split with the covenant makes the covenant weaker but the UNSC stronger, for the elite's are allies.

Sengheili warriors... Often referred to as Elites in the game. Other names for them, Split Jaws, Alligators, and Dinosaurs. They are epic. They are the backbone of the Covenant until the Great Schism, and they wield the most badass weapon of the entire Halo Universe, the Energy Sword. Man it would great to be one, strong, fast, powerful. A demon. I love them. To them nothing is more important than Honor. They are like the Samurai of the Halo Universe. Their fleets can and will destroy any fleet that poses a threat to them, even if they are outnumbered three to one.

[The Fun Has Been Doubled]

Sangheili are my favorite sci-fi alien species, Physically stronger than any man and Spartan, can move like cheetahs, Weapons (Energy Sword...Awesome), Armor just looks so amazing, Active Camouflage, They can go toe-to-toe with almost any enemy and never back down. They have the honor code equivalent to Greece's very own Spartans if not more than so.

To sum it up they simply are the greatest fictional race that has ever been made.
