Angela.Tremaine
My heart is like the ocean, it gets in the way So close to touching freedom, then I hear the guards call my name...
After Angela laid down a coat of faded yellow, she began adding a bright cerulean for the sky, making huge, sweeping strokes that faded the color out down toward the middle of the canvas. She got a bit lost in the painting process for a few moments before stopping to stare across the lake. The first time she'd been here, she had met Kamil--it was right before the start of school. That felt so long ago.
So much had happened. Terrible things, amazing things. she wondered if the upcoming year would be as full of craziness and heartache. The craziness, she didn't mind. The heartache, she could live without.
The last time she'd been here was that time with Malade (ugh)...because of Abel. She sighed. Right then. None of that. She hadn't even seen him in weeks. He was probably off with Xochi somewhere or something. And Tarik was...learning to read. And Renivere and Misaki, she wasn't sure about. So..yes.
She took a breath and focused back on her painting. No moping or heavy thinking right now. Just art.
It was nice to be alone occasionally.
You can say it one more time, what you don't like, Let me hear it one more time, then have a seat while I take to the sky.

◤¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯◥ IAN ◣__________◢

Well, part one of the plan had gone off without a hitch, but there was still a huge problem as soon as he got to the park. What now? The lizard wasn't really there, and if Annalie figured out that he lied to her, she would surely slaughter him. Her pretended to look around, still keeping the flower out of view. Maybe he should just give it to her now and hope she doesn't kill him?
He reluctantly went with that, holding out the flower to her, feeling absolutely ridiculous. This was stupid. Why was he even doing this? It was only out of envy of that wonderful couple that made that beautiful creature. As he was looking away from his fiancee, he spotted someone familiar out in the grass, painting or something. Things just had to get worse. That girl who beat him up and nearly zapped him was there too! He accidentally gripped the flower's stem with his claws too hard and watched with a frown when the top snipped off and fell to the ground. This... was a complete waste of time.

My heart is like the ocean, it gets in the way So close to touching freedom, then I hear the guards call my name...
Angela was in the middle of laying down the base coats for the trees when something hit her canvas. She frowned slightly and looked up to see a really creepy looking bird peering down at her. It was a dove. She thought.
But it was kind of fat, and a little evil looking. She was about to shoo the damn thing off her canvas when it shook its leg at her and she noticed a bit of paper tied there. She frowned slightly as she reached to get the paper off. The bird looked at her like it wanted to cut her apart and examine her insides--which was more than a little weird. She could swear it was laughing at her, an evil little 'ho ho ho.'
As soon as she got the note off, she shooed it away and unfolded the paper. There was a simple message addressed to her, asking her to meet...someone...at the cafe. Okay. That was...weird. How the hell had that creepy bird even found her? She looked around and instantly saw the teacher who had taken a bite of her arm, standing not far away.
Narrowing her eyes, Angela debated going to stab him with an xacto knife. But...that would probably get her arrested. And fortunately, she had a weird note, delivered by a weird bird. She sighed and, keeping one eye on Ian, packed up her things. Carefully carrying her blank canvas, she headed for the cafe, giving him a wide berth, thought she did shoot an evil glare his way on her way out of the park.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy wandered into the park, feeling uncomfortable and certainly not relaxed in any way. The day at the teahouse hadn't exactly ended well. Well, it had but... In fact, he had hurried away from there as soon as he could possibly invent a reason to leave, getting out of the situation as soon as possible. He had a date. As in, a proper date. With Susan of all people. Not that that was particularly a problem, it was just... yeesh. He had never thought that he would find someone who was actually interested in him... "both" of him, and frankly, he was really sort of terrified about the whole thing. She had even been interested in him when he was a girl... and well, definitely not interested in her. That alone made him feel like this whole thing just wouldn't work out, not to mention terrible in general. He didn't like Susan in any sort of romantic way when he was a girl, but he was definitely into her as a guy, but he couldn't look her in the eye as a guy or he would turn into said uninterested girl...
The color drained from his face. He needed to make a visit to his sibling... or just talk with him/her when he/she got back in town. There really was a simple solution to all of this, but he wasn't really sure if he wanted to use it...

Percy Mikelovitch
"A-ah, it's um.... It's all good." Percy grinned sheepishly. "I wasn't really... well, I wasn't really looking where I was going myself, and I'm not exactly the most er... dexterous person in the... in the world to begin with. I don't really think anyone ever ah, intends to run into someone else. Unless they're some sort of "ragamuffin." Not that you are or anything! It was just a ah... hm." He took the boy's extended hand, allowing him to pull him up to his feet. "I'm ah... I mean, if you mean Rosentale, then yes. I do happen to.... to attend. Although, not very many other places you really could be talking about huh? Not very many other academy's in the... vicinity. Nice place. Interesting classes." He hadn't yet let go of Storm's hand he realized. In an attempt to his this fact, he gently shook it and released. "I'm ah... Percy. Well I go by Percy. I mean, that's my actual name but... also, what I go by. I assume that, that you go to Rosentale too? I mean you look to be around the school going age and all..."
He shoved his hands into his pockets. Hopefully this guy had a special knack for linguistics, because it would probably take several years of code cracking classes to decipher the gibberish that had just flowed out of Percy's mouth. He resisted the urge to blush, as it sort of felt unmanly to him, and at the moment, that was a fairly serious thing to be feeling. Honestly, couldn't he just make a straight, clear sentence once in his life? Not around new people he couldn't.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy blinked in surprise. "Er... I actually wouldn't know. Sort of... not old enough to ah... well, drink and all of that. I mean, it's possible, but I sort of... um, are you?" He shoved his hands into his pockets. "I mean, you... How much older? You certainly don't look ah... look that old." Did Storm mean like, immortal older? Or "I got held back a few grades" Older? Percy wasn't really sure, and he was even less sure if that was the sort of thing that was acceptable to ask about.
"Er... Sure. We can... do that." Percy shrugged at Storm's offer. "I don't ah, don't really have much going on at the moment... Storm... Man, quite the name there. I wish I was so lucky, my middle name is Bob. Not exactly the most... ah, epic of titles, though I suppose Percival Robert Mikelovitch sounds sort of light a medieval knight... or a modern one, doesn't really have to be... medieval. So Storm, have you been going to the school long? I don't think I've ever really seen you around..."

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy followed after Storm. He was an interesting fellow, polite, calm, and, from what had been observed of his diction, incredibly intelligent. He couldn't help but wonder why a guy like Storm took any sort of interest in Percy, who was just some random guy he had happened to run into... who went to the same school. Oh well, he wasn't complaining. Talking with the other boy was certainly a good way to distract himself from his previous distressed thoughts.
"Four... Four hundred?" He couldn't help but sound surprised. Who wouldn't? Not that he hadn't met some strange folks since coming to Rosentale, but he had never actually run into someone who was admittedly, remarkably aged. "Wow... ah, I mean, well... yeah, wow. I can't even imagine what being twenty will be like but... Probably got a lot of... life experience, being well, alive that long. So then, are you a... do you teach at the school? I mean, I suppose you could be a student. I thought you... well you look young enough to be a student, but why go through high school again right? I mean, if I was immortal... er, if I aged slower than most normal humans that is, I don't think that these years would be the ones I would want to ah, well, you know, repeat. Not that it's a problem if that's the case.. for you I mean. To each their own or... something like that. You know how it... er... a-ah, so you had to go home huh? That's a shame. Or you know, maybe not, if you wanted to. I started going here in... spring? Yeah, spring, wow. It's been a long time..."

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy felt almost uncomfortable listening to Storm, some guy he had just met, talk about his life, extensive as it was. Well, it couldn't have meant that much to him if he was saying it to a total stranger. In fact, going off of what he had said, that was probably the case. It wasn't like Percy would end up being a very long part of his life, even if they, somehow, became friends until he died. It was definitely something weird to think about.
"Well... ah, hm. That's... Must be weird, to be a teenager for so long... reminds me of a series of books I read a while back actually... They were okay, but the movies were, well, sort of rubbish. Not that I'm comparing you to a work of ah, fiction or anything. Especially not that one. No way. I just mean, well, if you could skip high school for that long, then why come back now? That is, if you don't ah... If it's alright for me to ask."
Storm's inquiry as to why he was going to Rosentale made him blush. And he had been doing so well up till now. "E-er, not ah, not everyone I think... I mean, I don't think you well, need to have some sort of... to be... to have some sort of ability or ah, or uniqueness to go to this school. I'm pretty sure I've met just normal... well, that I've met plain old humans since I've been here. I mean, not to say that... Well I do have a sort of thing... that I do... but I'm just saying I don't think you have to have a... a sort of thing to come here... I do, but I think... I may have... said that already."
