This is where injured pilots/soldiers end up when they are withdrawn from the battle field. It has the best medical technology, and is located next to main headquarters, and the hanger.

Chise Kodomo

"The patient is going into shock!"

"Her blood pressure is dropping!"

Chise opened her eyes to the sound of a constant rhythmic beating. 'Where am I..?' She thought with a dazed expression as she examined her surroundings. Quickly she realized exactly where she was, Room 201 in the military hospital. Attempting to sit up she winced in pain, and collapsed back onto her pillow.

'Why is my body so sore...?' With her uninjured arm she threw the sheets off her body to reveal several bloody bandages wrapped around her legs, waist, and left arm. 'What..Happened?' Gently she touched her forehead to withdraw her hand when she felt a warm substance. 'Blood...'

It all came back to her in a flash. 'Taku-san... Is dead.' Tears welled up in her eyes threatening to spill. He had been the only person who would see her in the hospital.. Her captain, but.. He was blown up by a Freya mecha squad.. She had failed to protect him.

"Doctor! Chise-chan is awake!" A nurse yelled from the doorway. In a matter of seconds her medical team filed into the room to run tests.

It was about mid-afternoon in Cybercia where Chise was alone in her hospital room. Lying down in her bed she used her good arm to push the buttons on the remote to open up the curtains. As they slid across locking out of the way with a click, Chise sat herself up in her bed to look out upon her everyday scenery.

Birds flew across the skies, cars drove by, vendors pushed carts and tried to sell things.. It was all fine until she heard the high school bell ring loud and clear. Casting her gaze towards the sidewalk she watched as other girls her age walked in clusters while laughing together. Looking at this one could never guess that they were in the middle of a war.

Chise felt envious towards them.. They had families, and friends to rely on. She did have someone, but now he was gone from this world. Recalling something that he had said to her tears started to form in her eyes, "Taku...san.." Even though it had already been three weeks since that fight.. Chise still hurt.

Alpha Captain, Arisato Minako, hardly spent his time socializing with his crew. He had gotten up and out of bed a little past noon. Much was assigned to him today. After he had prepared for the day, Arisato stepped out into the foyer and began on his way. Soon a little messenger boy came running towards his, with a stumble as he stopped."Mistah, Ari-" "Do not address me as so. I am your superior, address me as one. Arisato spoke with a dry voice. With a large glup, the young boy spoke, "Alpha Captain, Minako, your superiors, look for your presence in the head quarters.' Without further adieu, Arisato headed out from the foyer, and towards the quarters. Once he reached inside the quarters, Arisato was ordered to take a seat. Chitter chatter went amongst them as the spoke about the replacement of some crews.

Arisato was a newly found Alpha captain for Cybercia, so the superiors put much work and wanted much out of him. Arisato either had to prove himself, though he has before, to stay. Soon slips were sent around the table with the list of assigned member of each team. His previous wingman, had retired due to his age. His newly assigned wingman was Chise Kodomo. With a heavy sigh, he arised from his seat and folded the paper. "Captain Minako." It was his superior, with a salute they greeted each other. "Afternoon General." What was this matter about? Must it be his position? "Minako, are you informed of your wingman's condition?" What condition does he speak of? Arisato did not know of such. "No I do not sir." The general let out a sigh, and began speaking of Chise's Kodomo's condition.

Arisato was quite surprised after being informed. Surprised of knowing a girl with a condition can still be able to operate P.Lynk. Arisato had recieved an order to visit Chise. With a sigh, he headed to the hospital. The room number was recieved and he stepped out the stairs slowly. He rather walk than take the elevator. As he reached the door, he contemplated about going inside or not. He couldn't really do much, after all, it was an order. The door automatically slid opened as he stepped inside. Clearing his throat, he introduced himself. "Ahem, Chise, I am your new superior. Alpha Captain Arisato Minako."

Chise Kodomo

Hearing the door slide open she turned her sad gray gaze to it expecting to see a nurse. However, to her surprise it was a young man. At first she wondered if he had the wrong room, but when he spoke her name, and did formal introductions she quickly had it all figured out.

Carefully she used her only good arm to push the button so the bed would prop her up into a sitting position. "I look forward to serving under you Captain Minako-san." She saluted him with her right unbroken arm.

Chise was a young girl.. Probably much younger then what Minako thought. After all, in the military "young" was usually around the age eighteen.

Lowering her arm, Chise spoke quietly "Sorry that I cannot stand to greet you."
