I have given Fang a chance to show off his stuff by being a part of the crew!! Everyone give him a round of applause.
Anyway, we have 2 updates that are VERY important.
1. We lost a contestant. He was banned because he was impersonating a gaia board member. I won't release his name, but he emailed me on a different account and asked if he still got his gold. He was to recieve a prize, but after closer investigating, I decided to revoke his right to getting that gold. I never want to do this. It hurt to say that I was sorry, but he lost his right to the lotto and his prize. But the rules are rules, and we must inforce them. Because of this, I added a list of rules on the main thread, and I would like it if you guys would go check it out. Its on the third post of the thread.
Understand that, if your banned for a legit reason, I won't allow you to take part in the lotto anymore, no matter how much you put in. The tickets are non-refundable, i'm sorry. Expecially password phshing, impersonation of a mod, and harassment. Please, while you are a part of this lotto, stay on your best behavior, or as best as you can. Now, if you were banned for some trivial reason, and you explain it to me, and upon further investigation I come to the conclusion it was unfair or not a terrible offense, I may not take your right to tickets away. So, please don't make this an excuse not to purchase tickets.
Banning is the equivalent to my blacklist.
2. The Banner contest is causing some controversy. So, I came to the conclusion and with the acceptance of the participants, I have changed the prize to 2.5 Mil, but there will be 2 prizes. One prize will go to the person who wins the polls, and then we will have an entirely different voting, much like the electoral college in the american presidency. This "electoral college" will vote for their favorite banner, and who ever gets the most votes, wins. All people in the electoral college will be anonymous, so no one can bribe/sway the voters.
I'm not hinting that the people winning at the poll vote are bribing/swaying people. Just to be clear. But some contestants are worried, so we've come to a compromise.
Awesome, alright, so I'm done with updates. I'll be on for a bit tonight, but tomorrow it might be difficult for me to get online. I have a boyfriend that is addicted to the computer, specifically the internet, and we're heading home for the weekend from college, so there is a possibility we'll only have one computer. Even if that is not so, I'm in classes until 4 tomorrow, then have a 2 hour drive home, so I won't be online until 7 or so Central.
Oh, that contest I talked about being posed by the anonymous donor, so far oO_ToxicBubbles_Oo is in the lead with the most tickets at once and in general. The anonymous donor wants it all to be at once, so who ever gets the most by a time he allots, will get the 122 tickets I currently have in limbo that I put in myself, and all of the tickets he purchases (which will equal yours) you'll get as referrals. Besides the grand prize, the referral prize is the greatest prize I give out, so check out the rules and facts about it on the main thread.
I'm thinking about putting a copy of the main thread in here, what do you guys think?
