Kira rolled her eyes and patiently waited for Axel. Once he entered the room she started bouncing up and down. "Lets gooooo!" She said. She went for the door and waited for Byron to lead the way. She twirled her hair, looking like an impatient teenager waiting to be picked up from school. All she needed was some bubble gum. She smiled and sighed, making a funny face. She was eager to blow some s**t up!

With a few pops and cracks of his joints and bones Axel opened up the door and walked outside. "Come on everyone! Let's get rid of the led in our shoes and get a move on!" He laughed as he marched happily out the door with his shotgun resting on his shoulder. He ran his hand along his jaw and sighed in dissatisfaction, 'Damn it... I forgot to shave...'

Helena grabbed her coat off of the large chair she had slept on and followed them out the door. She wasn't too keen on the weapons they were describing. But nevertheless, she followed and chewed her lip in worry.

((OOC: Sorry I wasn't here earlier. Out at the opera. Plus we have a hugeangous thunder and lightning storm at my place. It's awesome.))

Byron looked over at Axel walking out of the bedroom, and said, "Nice jacket!" he laughed, and then still chuckling, said, "Meh, you can borrow it from me. I never wear it anyways." Byron then pointed to some of the assault rifles laying against the crates in the corner. "Axel, grab those, and a few of the M9 pistols, they're packaged in that metal box to your left." He finished off his cigar, and after grinding out the stub with his combat boot, he reached into his pocket and grabbed his can of chewing tobacco, and grabbed a pinch and packed it into his lip. "Okay, let's go," he said.

Kira felt like this was the perfect occasion to light a cigarette. She walked out the front door, with her baseball bat on her shoulder. She was never not prepared. She light the smoke and took a drag. It was nice outside, the rain had stopped and the sun was peaking out from behind the thick clouds. She was actually enjoying being outside. She was even more excited for target practice. They were so heavily armed, she almost felt safe being out there. Now, if only she could feel this way all the time...

Loaded down with equipment, Byron looked over his shoulder at Kira and Axel. I could sure get used to seeing people again, he smiled to himself. He promised himself under his breath that he would do his best to protect these ones as best he could. After all, it was his duty as a soldier to protect them anyways. He spit, and then began a march to the road, where they would set down all the equipment and shoot. We might as well shoot right here in front of the house, saves us carrying all this s**t a long ways, he thought to himself, slowly letting himself set down his heavy-duty sniper rifle, and SAW machine gun, and the accompanying ammo for the weapons, along with his range bag. Her knelt next to the machine gun and, snapping the locks off the ammo can's lid, he lifted the lid, then picked it up and attached it to the side of the machine gun, pulling out a small amount of the belted ammo to slap into the receiver, which he now popped open. He expertly slid the ammo into place, closed and locked the trapdoor, and cycled the bolt, locking it in place. He grinned over to the three, and then said, "In the range bag there's earmuffs and shooter's glasses. Trust me, you'll want em on with these two bad boys." He put on his own safety gear, then waited for the others to do the same.

Axel looked around at where they set up. He almost forgot that they were in the middle of the city and that they were surrounded by large buildings and rubble of what looked like sky scrapers. The streets were empty, and the wind blew a chill that rattled him to his very bones. Bending over he reached into the bag and spotted what looked like a pair of regular sunglasses that were among the safety glasses too. They were a sleek and sporty style pair of shades, the rims were thick and black and they rested just right below his eyebrows. He slide them onto his face and smiled. He stood tall and rested his shotgun on his shoulder and proudly exclamed, "C'mon... Gimme somethin' to shoot!" He laughed and looked around once more only to see a few zombies just milling around aimlessly. Almost like complete idiots. And that sight alone made him feel happy to know that somewhere out there they were still as stupid as they were in the beginning. But something caught his eye on the ground, it was a simple little lotus flower. "All the sidewalks have been broken, our minds have been twisted. The borderlines are there and the lines have been made..." He bent over and picked up a pistol and gripped it in his hands as he slowly took aim. "The streets are all empty, we pave them with zombies... a lost generation generically made..." Cocking the gun he aimed down the sights and lined up his shot, "When admist all the madnesss I saw a flower, a dream that was creepin' I kept in my sight, then it turned and took me in an explosion and it shook me..." With a pull of the trigger the bullet was sent screaming out of the barrel and Axel watched as it made contact with the zombie's head and made it explode all over the wall, "...Thank goodness I'm alive..."

Kira sat down on the ground with her backpack and baseball bat, waiting for the okay to learn some new things that Byron was gonna teach her. She jumped slightly when Axel's gun went off. She looked over at him and made a funny face. She watched Bron set up the equipment. Her heart raced with excitement. She really wanted to blow things up. She had alot of built up anger that she wanted to get out, so that way she could have more focus when it was time to leave and be on their way,

Byron looked over at Kira, and grinned big. "This here is one of my favorite toys. There's the safety," he said, pointing to the left side of the gun above the trigger, "and just remember to keep your shoulder tucked into that stock while you fire." He smiled again, and then stood up, and took a step over to the M82 .50 caliber sniper rifle, and knelt down next to it. He opened a box of ammo, and slid out the Styrofoam block embedded with the huge rounds. He grabbed the box magazine for the gun and began pushing in one heavy round at a time, and then he gingerly picked up the now loaded mag, and he laid down behind the gun. He wrapped his big hands around the grip, and picked up the rear of the rifle, and gently slid in the magazine. He then smacked it home with the palm of his hand. Wrapping his finger around the large charging handle on the side, and Kree-CHOCK! He let the handle jump forward, chambering one of the .50 caliber bullets. He put the gun against his shoulder, and flipped up the dust covers on the 12x scope. He sighted it in on a milling zombie's head, and He shouted, "This is gonna be loud!" He squeezed the trigger, and felt the sharp recoil push into his shoulder as a huge fireball erupted from the front of his rifle. He watched through his scope as the zombie's head literally exploded across the wall it was dragging it's body past, nothing left of it but a stub of it's neck, and a bright pink mist floating through the air. God-DAMN, I love that feeling, he thought with an evil grin creeping onto his features.
