Your Opinion: Zac Effron

Time for your Opinion (Imma try and make this into a regular segument woot)

So unless you have been living under a rock (Or you just really don't care about Liva action movies/Disney) for the last like 4 years You know who Zac effron is. He is the star of Disney's Highschool Musical and has played in a few other movies such at seventeen again.

Now Again unless you haven't been keeping your eyes open you've probably heard debate over The Live action Full metal panic movie or more likely the Death note movie.

Both of these animes have a possible Live action american version coming out (FMP is unlikely right now but DN is possible, well at least its more realistic then FMP) and Zac effron could possibly play the star.

He was looked into playing the lead as Sosuke Sagara or Light yagami for both movies and apparently anime fans went wild. Many fans didn't give a damn while others cried that he should be playing DN because he was IN Highschool musical.

They also spout bullshit about how Light is japanese and why an american would play him and blah blah blah But I can say just one thing to combat this,

L is British, why is he played by a japanese? For the audiance obviously >.> People need to stop spouting that nonsense about race because the japanese overlooked it too (damn weeaboos)

MY OPINION

If you hadn't guessed my by L is british, my outlook is really, Who the hell cares?

I mean if an actor knows a character well They have a better chance of being able to play that character sucessfully rather then just reading a script. Zac has said that he has read manga and such (He's a bit nerdy so he gets Kudo points in my books) so I really don't see the problem. IMO People are just getting worked up because something like Death Note might become mainstream which you know, Might help manga/anime come back (It would be a good thing?) from is recent decline in popularity.

People should give it a chance, Not EVERY live action movie based off a manga/anime has been bad.

Look at Speed Racer or Better yet, Kasshern (WAS ******** AMAZING).

Not every anime based off of a game/anime will end up like Dead or Alive (whut?) Street Fighter or Dragon Ball =/

I think your totally rite that if a an actor knows the charecter and can play them resally well than they should be alowed to dispite there race...

But i personally could not handle another movie that has zac efron in i.....hes a good actor but so many little ten year olds are in love with him for me to be capable of taking him seriousley.
