Tearina

Tearina smiled, stroking the petals gingerly, careful not to harm them in all their magical beauty. She could be so captivated by the simplest of things at times, most of the time actually. She just wasn't the kind to take a single thing for granted- including the sun and the sky- flowers and butterflies. All of it still help a magical sense with her by merely existing.

Watching the Mage kneel down, she brought her big red eyes up to meet his. Smiling back, she gave a nod of her head, "No worries- I think I can do that," she promised. She wasn't sure how exactly at the moment with his condition, but she'd try! She liked to see people happy and healthy. Especially people like Kael- who were nice and fun, and kind.

Aseirti ~ Tyleh ~ Keelan

Aseirti ruffled the girls hair slightly standing up straight. "May the rest of your day be plesent young one." He stode back over to Keelan and Tyleh who were both up and moving, flashing the girl a dazzling smile over his shoulder.

Kael and Tyleh seemed to be talking for a few. Finally Kael nodded and Tyleh gave him a bow. "We are ready to move out. Start packing up." Tyleh hollered.

Kael returned to Tearina's side. "Get what ever you would like to much on before its put away." He handed her a small piece of cloth, to wrap it in.

Tearina

Giving Aseirti a smile and a light nod, she stroked the flower petals once more before standing up as well seeing as Keelan was approaching her. Taking the small piece of cloth in her one hand, she set it down, smoothing out all the wrinkles. Grabbing a sliver of bread, a fruit, and two of those cubes of white grainy sweetness, she placed them neatly on the cloth before folding the corners up all nice and neat.

Keelan and Kael

Keelan waited for her, watching her curiously. He chuckled watching how meticulous she had been with wrapping up the food. Turning he headed back to the caravan. Reaching it he opened the door letting out a holler. "The sun is up, when are you going to get out of here?" His voice was filled with humor and mirth as he walked in.

Kael turned his head smiling at Keelan. "Perhaps when my eardrums stop ringing Sire I will be able to think well enough to finish healing myself." His words were filled with sarcastic joy as he shook his head and laughed. Next to the bed sat a half eatten meal, and a glass of wine. It appeared as though the elf had gotten distracted with his artwork again which sat in his lap.

Tearina

Tearina quickly stashed the food safely and securely, before following along after Keelan back towards the caravan. Her steps were easily considered light and airy, her wings fluttering softly, new color in her cheeks from her short escapade up into the clouds in her flight. She only wished Kael had seen her! He had missed it sadly. But her head was brought back down to earth as they re entered the caravan, and her smile landed on the figure of Kael, currently seeming to have been drawing.

Kael

Kael smiled as she entered, setting his sketch aside. He gently patted the spot next to him beckoning her as he thanked Keelan who smiled and headed out with only one sentence. "For her you owe me getting better." His eyes were soft, gentle and concerned as he said it, and then he was gone.

"Welcome back," he said to the girl as she entered. "I told you that you needed to get out." He gave her a wink.

Tearina

Tearina made her way over towards kael's side quietly, her footfalls so silent they made practically no sound at all. Sitting herself down with a small pop beside him, her face lit up, glancing at his drawing. She gave a quick dip of the head agreeing, wanting to exclaim she had flown again and how wonderful it felt, but she blushed a bit, once she thought about it. She didn't wish to make him feel bad for not coming out or to sound what was the word... cocky?

Kael

Kael laughed seeing her flushed. When she looked at the drawing he turned it towards her. It was a picture of the Moonfall Palace. Despite the fact the drawing held no color it was not hard to imagine color in the vivid drawing. Trees grew around everywhere, lush and beautiful. Waterfalls went thoughout the whole structure. The sky were filled with billowing clouds. He smiled, pointing towards a small figure up in the sky. It was a small sketch of Tearina herself. "If you would like you can have it."

Tearina

A gasp escaped Tarina's angelic face, and her eyes widened in wondrous marvels. "It's amazing," she said almost completely breathless, a hand slowly moving strands of auburn hair from her delicate face so she may see more clearly the image in all it's vivid lines and shapes. But her eyes simply glowered in delight when he pointed out a slender figure in the sky; a smile tracing its way on her lips, "It's me!" she said with such childish delight, she couldn't help but giggle.

But then he said she could have it and her mouth wanted to drop. "I-I... I couldn't," she stuttered. She thought it was lovely, beautiful. But... she didn't deserve something so wonderful. She didn't deserve anything else. "You have all been so kind already... I- I can't. I can't..." she half told herself,, eyes stinging with guilt for wanting to. She had been given so much already, she didn't believe she deserved anything else, let alone something so wondrous.

Kael

Kael watched her excitement, and it seeped into his bones. For the first time he was starting to understand Keelan. This excitement and joy was not usually found in an elf. Elves were slower, with a long life it made each complacent. Not to say they were not happy or sad ever just that there was less highs and lows.

He teased her gently. "Well if your mine and I give it to you its still technically mine. So your not actually taking anything from me now are you?" He winked at her, his laughter full of mirth as he deposited the drawing into the girl's hands. "Besides, I have hundreds of them. Keelan will be happy to see he wont have to find room for another one in his room." It was true, Keelan spent most of his free time exploring his artistic talents. Kael filled own room with pictures, then started pouring them into Keelan's room. Despite the fact he knew Keelan adored each and everyone, it did not stop the prince from teasing him about it calling it an 'addiction'.

He closed his eyes for a moment, then looked back at her. Kael could stare at her all day without getting bored. She was stunning. Every inch of her. Her smile and laughter, the way her face lit up, her body. Without warning Kael reached up and tenderly caressed her cheek. Something in him yearned to hold her, but he was trying hard to refrain from scaring the girl. He was deffinatly starting to understand Keelan. Blast all these silly emotions.

Tearina

Little Tearina's angelic face paused thoughtfully with in a moment of contemplation and bemusement. She supposed he was right, despite the fact she still strongly disliked the thought of belonging to anyone. Still, he had a point, which set her little heart at ease. A gentle smile flittered across her face once more, his laugh enjoyable and cheery. She liked when he laughed. Very much.

Taking the picture gingerly in her hands, her bright red eyes scanned over it again, almost as if studying and reading the drawing upon the paper. Back in the cell at the castle, she had spent much of her early time drawing in the dirt or singing, but Kael's drawings were much better then her own in her opinion.

Eyes moving back up, she noticed Kael watching her, seemingly peaceful, when his hand darted up against her cheek with soft fingertips. A light blush dimpled her bashful smile, her angel wings fluttering a bit. But she didn't move to pull away. She wasn't sure what to make of how she felt. What it was called.

Kael

She looked so happy, and it seemed to be contagious. As long as Kael was looking at her he could not help but smile and chuckle. She really was like a child. So full of life and joy. He winced slightly when he shifted. It deperested him a bit but he was already tired half way though the day.

He wanted something... yet he did not want to force her to do something she did not wish. Though a part of him knew he didn't have to ask, he did anyhow. His eyes searched hers, when she gazed at him. He needed to rest, he was getting much of his strength back; however, he was still very tired often. He slid down on the straw pulling the fur blanket over him holding the corner up. "Would you do me the honor of joining me?" His hand patted to the spot beside him, his eyes getting heavy.

Tearina

Kael seemed to happy, it made her wish she could smile even brighter for him, but she was not sure such a smile, greater then the one she had on display, was even possibly. But she was very much happy that he was happy. Watching him with big, red, curious eyes, Tearina tilted her head a bit bemused, sending a cascade of auburn hair over her slender shoulder. Watching him slide down into bed, her face grew soft, remembering how ill and tired Kael was, and his need for rest was evident behind the smiling cheerful face. But his question made her think for a moment, wanting to almost blush as her head tilted in a nod, scooting over towards the covers and slipping under them as well, snug and warm beside the elf.

Kael and Keelan

Gentle arms pulled the girl close, holding her like fragile treasure. "Your safe now," the words left Kael's lips as he dozed off to a dream world. She would never again need to return to a place like she had come from. No more pain or suffering.

Night was falling and the party had pulled aside to make camp for the evening. A soft knock came from the door, as Keelan let himself in leaving some food on the table. Looking at the two he bit his lip a tear coming to his eye. He blinked it away as he left. He could not afford to think of her.... she was gone.... forever. Wishing and daydreaming would not bring her back. For now he would just be happy that something good came of this journey that he had began to think was pointless.

Tearina

xxx Folding her wings against her back, as to not get in either of their comforts way, Tearina felt the gentle hands of Kael pull her into a warm embrace almost, holding her gingerly. A faint blush lit her cheeks at his words, resting her eye lids shut. Safe. What did that word mean exactly? It meant no more dark cells or dungeons. No more Randintec and watching her friends suffer. Meant no broken wings because abusive tendencies or having to worry if you can fall asleep and everyone will still be there in the morning; alive and... well. it meant a completely new life. A new life and a new name. To put the rest behind now. She was never pleased with the word slave, or being considered a possession. But if anyone was to claim her- she was glad it was Kael. And with those thoughts drifting through her head, the little angel, drifted to sleep.
