Everybody knows that if Band Camp started any earlier than August, there's no way in hell you would even be here.

Why are you here anyway?
You're the "Band Geek." Whether or not you are actually a geek doesn't matter. Band is your life. When you're not practicing your instrument, you're mentally going over your music. You don't walk, you march. You could care less if somebody beat you up, but if they touch your instrument you're ready to kick a**. Everything you do is in 4/4.
So obviously you must have had a pretty good reason to volunteer for three weeks at a summer camp where, chances are, none of your band friends will be. Of course, your reasoning is your own business, and I wish you the best of luck. Oh, and be sure to keep an eye on your... ... ... what is it you play again?
