	As an ambulance rode by, Anastasia quickly looked up, and watched it drive away. She had a feeling that she knew who was in there, but didn't quite know who. As the sound of it faded, so did her thoughts about it. She looked back down at her sketch. "You don't have to go." Anastasia said to the girl who liked her sketch without even looking up.

	Bella stopped then turned and sat down next to her. "How did you learn to draw like that, Its absolutely amazing." Bella said looking at the drawing. "You know I have an art studio at my home, maybe you would like to come and sketch or something sometime."

	Anastasia smirked. "I've been drawing for years.I just started to draw one day, and just copied other peoples art work to try and improve my own." She put her pencil down and looked at her drawing for a moment. It was very nice. She looked over at the girl who was next to her. She tried to smile, but it came out crooked. "Sounds like fun."She tried to fix her smile, she just looked stupid.

	Anastasia looked at Bella. School hasn't even started yet, and she seemed like a bookworm, or a teachers pet. Something like that. She closed her notebook and got up. "Sure, lets go." She picked up her bag, and watched Bella.

	Chi followed the EMTs into the hospital. She ran along with them until a doctor held her back. "I'm sorry," he said carefully, "We need to take him into surgery. Please stay back here." Chi nodded and sat down in the family waiting room. She took out her cell phone and called Ethan's parents. "Excuse me? Yes, This is Chi. You're son's friend.... Yes.... No.... I'm sorry, Ma'am, but your son is in the emergency room. He was shot in the arm." Chi listened some more to Ethan's mother's bantering then broke in again, "I must go. Goodbye." She hung up and ran to the doctor, as he came in through the door. "Is he going to be alright?" She asked worried. The doctor nodded. "He's going to be here for a while until we can find a place sutiable for his rehabilitaion." Chi noded and took this all in. She was releived. Ethan was alive. It was so reasuring.

	Bella stood up. She got a call from Jason. jason: Hey sweetpee were are you? Bella: Oh Im just out bu the Sickamor tree talking to Anistasia. Jason: Can you leave for a few hours, I I got a surprize for you. Bella: I-i dont think so Jason I dont want to be rude and leave. Jason: Please! Bella: Ugh fine ill be there in a few Jason: YES! I love you. Bella; I love you too Bye. They both hung up. "Im so srry but I need to leave, Call me at this number and we can rescedual." Bella turned around and gave her, her number. Then turned around and left she got in the car and headed for her house. hen she got there it was about dark with a sunset. She walked all around the house calling jasons name until she saw outside on the porch. She opened the door and shed a tear. There was candles everywhere and a blanket by the fountain and Jason holding a rose. He got up and handed it to her. She was about to speak when he hushed her with a kiss as sot as an angels but so meaningful that she dident need to say anything more. He picked her up and layed her on the blanket, he layed down and Bella layed her heado n his chest. "Why are you doing this?" Bella asked. "You dont need a reason, to do somthing special for somone you love" Jason spook.

	Anastasia watched as Bella left. She looked down at the number, and put it in her pocket. She looked through a window, looking at the time. It was late. Her Mom would be out at the bar by now. She shrugged and walked down the side walk towards her house. After twenty minutes, she walked into her house. It was dark, like always. She took off her shoes and walked up the stairs towards her house. She closed her door and put her bag on the floor. She went over to her bed and fell on top of it. She stared at the ceiling, with nothing to do.

	Bella just layed there in the arms of Jason looking up at the stars. She saw one star that outshone all the rest of them. It was right by the milky way. "Look" Bella said pointing to the star, "Thats a beutiful star" Bella said. Jason leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Yea, but not as beutiful as you." Bella looked up at him and stood up, lets go to my bedroom jason stood up and followed Bella as they held hands. When they got to her room she closed the blinds and layed down on her bed.

	After a minute, Anastasia heard a loud banging noise coming from down stairs. *"ANASTASIA!"* Her Mother was home. *"Get your butt down her now!"* Anastasia sighed and walked down stairs. When she got there, her Mother was leaning on a chair in the kitchen. *"Anastasia why isn't there any food made?! Do you expect me to do everything around here?"* Anastasia looked at the ground. "Like you even do anything.." She muttered to herself. Her Mother walked up to her and raised her chin. As soon as Anastasia looked into her Mother's eyes, she had hit the floor. Her Mother had just punched her in the face. Her Mother walked up to her. trying to keep her balance. *"That was just a warning. If your brother was still alive there would be food made. But no! Hes not, thanks to you."* Anastasia's Mother muttered as she made her way up the stairs. Anastasia sat on the ground for awhile before getting up and going back to her room. She quietly closed her door and went to her window. She wanted to run, but had no where to go. So she just daydreamed about running away, while looking at the night sky.

	Chi held Ethan's hand until he woke up. She wiped away her tears and smiled. Ethan slowly said, "Hey." and asked her to text everyone in his contacts. Chi nodded and kissed his cheek. "What was that for?" Ethan asked. Chi answered, blushing, "Sorry, I was worried." Ethan smirked and nodded. Chi took his phone and started a text: "ethan has been shot... @ hospital on corner 1 & 4 plz come. -Chi" Chi clicked 'all contacts' and sent it to everyone. She knew everyone at school would have the text, Ethan got everyone's number, he was that popular. She wondered why he would hang out with her, but soon shook it from her head. She slowly made her way back to Ethan's room. She knocked slowly and walked in. She slided into her seat by Ethan's bed and closed her eyes. "Go to sleep," Ethan said, knowing that she was tired, "I'll be okay." Chi smiled and nodded, feeling herself slip away.

	Anastasia heard her phone go off in her bag. She pulled it out to see a text from Ethan. She read it carefully. She looked out her window at the dark sky, then back at her phone. She put it into her pocket and grabbed her bag. She stood up and looked at the door. She walked over to it and locked it. Then, she went to her window, opening it up, and jumping out onto her lawn. She looked around to see if anyone was around before she made a run for it. It took her a bit till she reached the hospital, but she did. As she entered, someone in a wheel chair had came out. She walked through the doors the the front desk. She looked around, and asked a lady where Ethan was. She pointed down the hall. Anastasia made her way down the hall till she got to Ethan's room.

	Chi heard yelling from outside in the waiting room. "IF I WANT TO SEE MY SON I WILL SEE MY SON!" Chi groaned. It was Ethan's mother. She walked out to see the doctors holding the woman back. One was trying to explain to her, "Ma'am, we cannot let you see your son. He is in a high stress situation at the moment. He has asked us not to see anyone at the moment." Chi looked around and slipped back into Ethan's room. "Ethan," she whispered, "She's here."
