Mina ~ Sector 1

Mina didn't move as Skara hugged her again. She stayed still and didn't move or speak. She stayed curled up tight and didn't even look at Skara.
"Yes I am..." Was all she uttered. Mina looked sullen and lifeless, the life nearly gone from her eyes. She had basicly shut down completly, away from the outside world. She believed she was worthless from being told so so many times. Other's comments made no difference to her now.

Skara smiled sadly at Mina's reply. She knew that her saying that she was worth something again would make no difference so she stayed silent. After a little while she closed her eyes and started singing softly.

Mina hardly recognised the jesture, though deep down she did apreciate it. She just sat there listening to the song, but ehr eyes still remained dull and lifeless. the girls song reminded her of her mother, but the happy memories slowly gave way to the memories of her father and what he did to her and her mother. Every now and again Mina would tremble for s few moments before shutting down again.

Skara felt Mina's trembling, she wanted to do something but knew she couldn't. She opened her eyes for a few seconds glancing into Mina's. She could feel her memories of fear coming back. Closing her eyes she pushed them to the back of her mind. After finishing the song she asked "Do you like flowers?" She smiled, but it seemed rather sad.

Mina's eyes wers still lifeless and dull. When Skara asked her question though it didn't enitiate a verbal responce her head moved back and forth slightly, giving a nod as to say yes.. but other then that she remained unresponcive.

Skara was a bit worried because Mina wasn't talking, but managed a happy smile as she shook her head yes. Letting go of Mina she froze the sweat on her forehead. Taking it in her hands she started manipulating it. After she was done she held out an ice rose the size of her hand to Mina.

Mina remained motionless as Skara began her magic. She kept her knees in her chest and her eyes were bearly peering out over her knees. When Skara presented the beautiful rose Mina didn't even budge, her eyes still dark and dull.

Skara looked quite put out that Mina didn't take the rose. Sighing she put the rose in Mina's hair and froze it there. Not exactly knowing what else to do she embraced Mina and began singing again.

Mina didn't move when Skara froze the rose in her hair, but she did apreciate the girls kindness. As she was reembrased Mina leaned slightly into Skara. Though her expresion didn't change her body relaxed a little bit and she could at least hear and apreciate skara's singing, leaning now slightly on the girl as she was sung to. The singing reminded her of her mother.

As Mina leaned into her, her face glowed with happiness. Her singing seemed lighter, full of joy. Though she was careful not to move a lot, so as to not disturb Mina.

Alistal and Tutir ~ Main Courtyard

A young boy came running into the plaza holding a message. He moved to Tutir placing it in his hand. "It had gone though Sir." A huge grin spread over his face. That meant it was a note from the merchants guild over the plaza giving the go ahead for the reform. Tipping the boy, who then ran off, he pried the seal off the rolled parchment. Eyes read, devouring the words. It was about time. He was being given permission to do the renovations, along with a lot of new hiring and firing... no questions asked.

Walking down the stairs his eyes flickered to the running gargoyle. He moved he caught up to her in a moment giving her a harsh glare, obviously daring her to try something else. Right now he was happy enough he would look over the mistake. Trying again though might receive different results.

Alistal finished moving around, making sure each slave was put where they should be when he saw the errand boy running in. He gave something to Tuir then ran handing him a similar one. It was what he dreaded. Tutir was being given more power yet again. That was the last thing that psychotic sadist needed. Crossing his fingers he prayed he would still have a job come nightfall.
